-Bruno’s shop replaced my car’s head gasket which Firestone had falsely claimed was my coolant temperature sensor -took my car back to Bruno’s a week after they replaced my head gasket and they took a second look at it for free, just to make sure everything was in proper order (which it was because they know what they’re doing) I’ll be coming back!

My vehicle broke down coming home to Richmond from Arlington. I had never heard of this place, but it happened to be the closest repair shop near my misfortune. Bruno and his team were able to quickly diagnose, discuss, and clearly tell me how long it would take to repair my vehicle.. They were clear and concise, and not only that, treated me like family. I was stranded and couldn't get home. In fact, my issue took them most of the day to fix because of the severe issue. Here's the kicker...because they knew of my situation. When they broke for lunch, one of the guys at the shop had prepared the most amazing Uruguayan steaks I had ever been around or smelled. They must have seen i was hungry, and provided me with a steak and crusty bread with a tomato based chimichurri. I'm still reviewing an auto repair shop here, guys. This actually happened. I was served a second helping. I should legitimately be leaving a review on how great the food was. For the purposes of this review, just know, you'll be taken care of, and these people were a God-send. Thank you, Bruno's Auto Repair. I'll never forget how well you treated me.

Good salesman but a very bad mechanic. Took my BMW in for an oil leak and Mr. Bruno turned into a major repair, over $2K!, then he didn't know how to put the car back together- he couldn't START it!!! so the salesman recommended me a refurbish engine for another $1200...yeah like you heard. No paperwork of all the s.. he did only of the refurbished engine purchase he put on. Still with an oil leak and for warranty...good luck with this guy. Won't recommend it for an oil change...your decision.

Find another mechanic, especially if you need repairs on a Volkswagen Beetle. Charged me almost $800.00 to repair my coolant system. The car continued to run hot after taking it to him twice. After the first repair, the car still leaked fluid. I took it back to Bruno, and he said he "fixed" the leak. However, there was no coolant in the reservoir and the car continued to run hot after I took it back to him the second time and paid him another $193.00 ($583.00 for the first “repair”). I took the car to another repair shop for a second opinion. They told me that coolant was going into the engine, and the engine needs to be replaced.

I saw a lot of good reviews around Bruno’s, so I decided to give it a shot. I came to check out a sound coming from my car when it was making noises driving on bumpy roads, and when Bruno asked if he could test drive it, I obliged. But then when he came to drive the car, he drove it very recklessly at very fast speeds and hard braking when it came to a stop sign. He was driving on the edge of the roads and not paying much attention to the people around him. He was very unprofessional and when we went back to his shop, he was kicking my exhaust claiming it was making a weird sound. But I only came to do a diagnostic on the sound coming from the front of the car. If you guys want a genuine mechanic that will take care of your car and not drive it recklessly like it’s their car, please see another mechanic. I would rate 0 stars if I could.

I love Bruno's Auto Repair. I take my 2011 Range Rover Supercharged there for things my local mom and pop shop can't repair and the dealer would have to take care of. I am blown away by Bruno’s professionalism, quickness and affordability. My daughter’s car was misfiring, had a tail light out, headlight and needed an oil change. The car fob was also not working. The dealership told us that we were going to have to buy a new one for $500. Bruno replaced the battery and it’s working great now. The car was in and out of his shop in 2.5 hours for a very affordable cost. I usually only take my cars to the dealership, but I’ll be switching to Bruno’s for car service.
