I traded my GMC Canyon in for a ford because after the GMC dealership received the new valve body for a truck with less than 40k miles, over a month passed and they still couldn’t get my truck on the schedule to be fixed. Horrible customer service. Beyond garbage. Never again. Bought 5 trucks through Ford Pro at Jenkins & Wynne and couldn’t be happier.

My visit was handled by Kim Sigler . An issue with my left mirror vibrating at highway speeds, that renders it useless and the recall of the bug deflector . An oil change and checking on any dealer updates for the radio (that seems to have a mind of its own sometimes). She called me to let me know that the mirror had came in. My appointment is scheduled for 8/29/25 . Everything was handled very professionally! I’m totally satisfied with Kim’s professionalism at Wyatt Johnson GMC. . Thanks Kim!

I was misled by both the lady I spoke to for the appointment and the service person. I asked how long the work would take and was told about three hours, and that I would need to leave my truck and come back. My appointment was at 11 a.m., and I arrived a little early but had to wait about ten minutes for someone to assist me. After being helped, I was again told it would take about three hours to test my truck. After the three hours passed, I called back and was told my truck hadn’t even been serviced yet and was still waiting. I informed the service person I was coming to pick it up. When I arrived, I was told the delay was because the service tech took lunch from 12 to 1. Why was my appointment scheduled at 11 if it was known service would be unavailable from 12 to 1? This was the worst experience I’ve had getting my truck serviced. I will be contacting GM to arrange for another dealer to handle the recall on my truck.

I just had a routine maintenance check, oil change, air filter, etc. I asked them to do something for me concerning the tire pressure. They did not do what I had asked. I've been questioning whether going to jiffy lube or Valvoline doing my oil changes but after this last experience with Wyatt Johnson. I think I may just continue to go to Valvoline oil change from now on.

When I arrived at the service department, I was greeted professionally and Was attended to by Michael Brown Who immediately found out why I was there for service. He also step-by-step let me know what was going on with the diagnostic on my car. Which they couldn’t get the car to show the code so they could see what was going on with it. But he told me exactly what to do in the future so hopefully get the code to rectify the problem.

The “service” I did receive today was horrible!! I scheduled an appointment last week for this week with someone in a cubicle, told her exactly what was wrong with my car. Today, I arrived 15 min late for my 10:30am appointment. I was then walked inside the bay area by the “sales person” to her sectioned off area (whom by the way was very nice). I explained exactly what was wrong with my SUV since I had taken elsewhere and the problem still existed. It took an additional 10 min to fill out assessment paperwork of my vehicle. She did explain there would be a $194 diagnostic fee and that the diagnostic might not be finished before lunch (techs take lunch) and I could be there until around 1:30pm. I didn’t want to stay until then, so my husband picked me up around 12:40pm. I received a text around 2:12pm to check the status of my SUV. Upon checking the status, it stated diagnostic was in progress. At around 3:35pm I received another text to approve the 5 issues the tech found, but I was already in route to the office. The “sales person” explained the issues and at the top of the list was the main issue in why I brought my truck in. I didn’t want the additional issues found, performed at this time, I then stated “when would the original work be completed since it was now a little after 4pm? The lady told me the shop closed at 6pm, my husband asked why no work had been done in 6 hours, we thought this was the whole reason for making an appointment? The sales person explained “their services didn’t work this way, and that appointments are made to go over things with them and that the techs didn’t work based on appointments, they pulled tickets”. My point is this, it is ridiculous to have made an appointment, to basically wait all day and not even receive services for what you came in for!! We decided to go elsewhere! The services paid today were for diagnostic and some kind of miscellaneous fee totaling $239. Never experienced this kind of game before, so will definitely not return here for any services!

Unfortunately my truck has had a few recall issues but the service staff and manager at Wyatt Johnson GMC have always gone above and beyond to make sure all of my issues were taken care of in a timely manner and that everything was done to my satisfaction. I wish I could say the same for other dealerships that I have been to in the past but as long as David Edwards and his service advisors continue to work here, I won't have to worry about taking my truck anywhere else but Wyatt Johnson GMC.

I had a “check engine” warning light display illuminated every time I started, or operated my car. I used my Fix’d code reader that narrowed the source down to the exhaust system, but did not isolate the issue to a specific issue. Wyatt-Johnson performed additional, more comprehensive diagnostics isolating the issue, and provided me an estimate for correction. They performed the work, and the issue appears to have indeed been resolved. The staff at the dealership is professional, and personable, with the knowledge to answer questions and address concerns. I will likely approach them again if and the need should arise.
