“Agree to disagree.” I’m told. I find it as simple as following orders, I may be wrong though. Over all 1 star review because Moe remained silent after he knew he was wrong and the owner talked himself back into the back office. I send my car from one shop to another due to insufficient equipment at the 1st shop. Don’t need a “diag” DID NOT ask for one. Simple, I do not expect to pay for one. Anything found during I should not be responsible for. Diag was done at the first shop. Besides the point, “ I ask you to fix my power steering are you going to touch my alternator “ I said…………“Well ummm no”. Moe says. Follow orders, simple. Initially $1600 for a $400 part, Labor?… says $231… y’all do the math ($800 is being more then generous)Owner says “Nah that’s reasonable”. But when I spoke with Bill I was able to drop the price a whole $600+ down to $989….. End of the day I paid $969 due to the compromise I offered of $105 taken off of the $210 diag charge I did not request…… Honestly I think they should stick to fixing cars and stop trying to be con men.

Absolutely amazing experience. Everyone was extremely kind, thoughtful, and quick to help. I called in a panic because my tire/brake was smoking, and a friend I called had an idea of what might be wrong. After explaining the situation, the woman who answered the phone told me to bring it right in. When I arrived, Matthew was at the desk and immediately said he’d take care of it—he even offered to have the woman I spoke to earlier drive me home if needed. Despite being clearly busy, they had my car fixed within an hour and a half that same day. I’m 7 months pregnant and was feeling overwhelmed, but Matthew’s kindness and calm demeanor truly meant the world to me. He could tell I was stressed (even I know he was probably stressed himself with the busyness of the shop) and went above and beyond to help. The pricing was fantastic, and the service was even better. I’m so grateful and appreciative—and I’ll absolutely be a lifelong customer from here on out. I cannot recommend them enough. Please do yourself a favor and come here. I’ve gone to several car repair shops in Charlottesville and not once have had such an all around great experience like this. I can’t thank them all enough and specially Matthew for turning my day around!

First of all I just want to say I have been taking my Mercedes GLA to BWOM since I moved here 3.5 years ago and never had an issue. My car needed work done that they diagnosed so I brought my car in at 9am the day they scheduled me and never told me a time for. When I dropped it off no one seemed to know what I was there for and asked me if the part had came in. I said I’m not sure, whoever scheduled my appointment didn’t say I needed to wait for a part but I made the appointment 3 weeks ago. Finally, they found the part and I left. At 3:30pm I called to just check the status. I was met with the most disrespectful tone I’ve ever gotten from someone who was providing a service for me. Mind you, I had no clue it was such an inconvenience for someone to call and ask how it was going. I did have to work the next day and said I didn’t know it was going to take 2 days but if I need to make other arrangements to get to work that’s ok, I just wanted to know. He said “you dropped it off at 9am today, so that means a day would be tomorrow at 9am, right” - I am very aware of how long a 24hr period. He also made me aware that he was “only” charging “$125/hr for labor and Mercedes would’ve charged me “$300/hr” for such a big, time consuming job- of which I am also VERY aware. And if they didn’t want to do the job or felt like they couldn’t do it correctly I would assume they wouldn't have scheduled me to have it done there. I went to BWOM because I trusted them to tell me the truth. Not to get a lesson on how long a day was or how much I would’ve been charged somewhere else. I am incredibly disappointed and honestly disgusted by the way I was treated. If I could explain the tone and side comments on text I would but I could even hear his employees in the back making comments. Unprofessional and I won’t be going back.

I left my car here for two days and ultimately did not have any repairs completed. It took a day and a half, along with several phone calls from me, before I even received a diagnosis. When I finally did, the quoted prices were significantly higher than other shops in the area, which is why I chose not to proceed. Clear communication and timely updates are important when leaving a vehicle for service, and unfortunately, that was not my experience here.
