Colin was good. But I didn't get a car from here. I walked out. I have good credit an they wanted 25% interest rate which was so very bad. I couldn't believe they do people like that. If your desperate then ok go ahead go here. But they really take advantage of people. For a 10000 dollar car they wanted 14000. But after 4 years of paying payments thats 24000 dollars. Its crazy. My opinion go somewhere else

I’m saying this to save the next person. The cars that are used is sold as I do feel like they fix the cars up just so you can drive off. I have a 2013 Malibu within 25 days break booster went out. Then I had no breaks on the back breaks they say they do a 83 point inspection but I have no breaks a slow leak in my left tire. All I’m saying is they will look you in your eyes understand your a single mom just trying to make it and they will give you a car that has serious issues! A oil change and tune up is a small problem to me. Break boosters break and breaks pads gone and left tired has a slow leak those are big problems. (The mechanics are very sweet) they work with you as much as they can. They don’t get enough credit.( I was promised by Collin I would have no issues for atlease 4 months. He said as long as I kept up on the oil changes the car would not give me problems.

Shannon and Jizabel were personable and professional with getting me situated in a new car! It’s been an overwhelming year but they can make it work for you. // Had to call because my check engine light came on the first night of having my car. Spoke to the service team after getting a diagnostic ran and i have to pay to get it ran but it’ll be free to fix i guess. Not happy about the inconvenience but i still have a car.

I was in the market for a car and reached out to Byrider Joliet. Collin texted me late one night asking for a phone call. I said tomorrow because I was with my family — he replied around 11pm. Weird, but okay. The next day? No call. Instead, Anthony starts texting nonstop, asking me to come in — first Sunday, then Monday — all while I’m still waiting on Collin. I told him I wanted to see if I’d be approved first. Visiting a dealership takes time, and I didn’t want to waste a trip. His response? Just a “?” — no explanation, no context. After I explained I wanted to check approval and understand down payment options, he asked how much I could bring — totally premature. When he offered to send the credit application link, I said yes. But he never actually sent it. Instead, the conversation immediately went back to “When can you come in?” I explained after work or a weekend would be best, but first I needed to see if I could get approved and know my options. His response? “This isn’t an online or texting dealership. Your next step is face-to-face.” At that point, I was done. Buying a car is stressful enough without being pressured to schedule an appointment before even knowing your options. After his aggressive push, I finally said goodbye. And what did I get back? A text saying “Peace!” — unprofessional doesn’t even begin to cover it. Byrider Joliet needs to replace Anthony with someone who actually knows how to deal with potential customers. I was genuinely considering going there, but instead I’m going to First Acceptance Auto. They emailed me a credit application, approved it, and clearly explained my options before asking me to come in. THAT’S how buying a car should feel. If you’re considering Byrider Joliet: ask every question upfront, read everything carefully, and don’t let yourself be rushed. Professionalism and respect are basic — and this dealership seriously missed both.
