I came in for an oil change, & because my van (my home) was overheating & leaking coolant. I brought it in on a Tuesday, & was given a post it of what I needed & the cost. I could not afford it, & decided to cut the cost the only way I could by getting my own parts. The radiator I selected would be delivered in 1 week, the following Wednesday. I was clear with my communication, stopping by almost everyday & text. Radiator was delivered a day early, Tuesday, & I dropped off everything. It was not “finished” until that Saturday. I paid $500 cash. They hadn’t even done the oil change. I brought my own oil, my own filter, & I wrote oil change on the paper as a reason for visiting. Closed on Sunday. I’m here in the parking lot, Monday, because I’m still leaking brand new coolant out of my brand new coolant tank, & now my heater doesn’t work & I still need my oil changed. I will update later *UPDATE* 1 star added. the owner is a nice guy, but after posing my review he said “I shouldn’t even be talking to you”.. not “I’m sorry you’ve had to wait almost 2 weeks for your vehicle & we didn’t do the oil change, you’re STILL leaking coolant & now your heater doesn’t work, we’ve clearly dropped the ball, let’s change this & make it right”. After a heated discussion I was told to bring it in the next day, some heater tube or something was clogged full of oil & coolant sludge. Why was everything else flushed “10+ times” but not that? He blew it all out, heater was working when I left. Did oil change. Next day heater not working. It’s days later & my heater still isn’t working, now I feel like I have to take it to a dealer who is gonna charge me something ridiculous, but hopefully my money will actually get used to FIX my vehicle this time. This is my first vehicle & first time at a mechanic, it has not been a trustworthy experience for me. My oil is changed, my car is not overheating, my coolant is not leaking, but my heat is not working.

Honestly, best repair shop in the area. They know what they are doing, and they are super honest and reliable. I’ve been coming here for years, and they totally want get the job done right without upselling you. They even let me get a part elsewhere and then just installed it (because it was cheaper). Not a lot of people around gonna do that for you. Honestly, 5 stars.

Two words: phenomenal work! I needed a quick fixer upper on my car AC unit and I couldn’t figure out why and dealt with the warm air for a week, but he was knowledgeable, quick, and transparent during the whole process. I’m glad they were the first body shop that appeared on Google and helped me out!

Been going here for a year now, with both my car and my girlfriend’s. First time going there, i anticipated the problem was expensive, and perhaps stupidly, i let that be known. The owner took the car for a test drive and told me it was a $20 fix, and he was right! One of the times i went there, there had made a mistake, and when i called them, they couldn’t be more apologetic, took the car back in immediately, and an hour later my car was ready to go - free of charge. Excellent honesty and customer service, refreshing to see in the mechanic world

I was recommended Darvin and his crew by two friends and could not be happier with their work. I had a full engine service and they replaced a broken window motor. These guys are fast, affordable, and break everything down for you. When I picked up my car they actually showed me all the pieces that were replaced and why they needed to do the repairs they did. They were honest about things like the condition of my breaks and tires when they could have easily convinced me I needed replacements. Finally found my car guy in LA!

If I could leave 6 stars I would! Darvin and his team provide fast service, incredible quality of work, and reasonable prices! As a young female college student living alone in LA, figuring out car repairs was my worst nightmare. So when JiffyLube told me I had all these urgent issues with my car, I went to about 10 different places trying to get quotes to compare prices. So many shops tried to overcharge or convince me to do work that wasn’t necessary. I had to get my dad on the phone a few times to make sure I wasn’t getting ripped off. But Darvin was so honest and helpful in explaining what work was actually necessary. He gave me reasonable estimates and honored those prices when I came back later. I’ve brought my car back to him twice since then. He’s replaced my brake rotors and pads, replaced one of my bearings, and helped with a tire issue. Six months later and my car runs better than ever! I always feel confident and my parents love knowing that I’m in good hands with any car issues!
