THESE GUYS KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING, but charged about 1000 more than what it could have cost. 2500 for all four brakes and rotors for my F53!! The parts were 1400, I asked for a discount and they gave me 100 discount off the parts, but charged 100 for shop supplies and disposal, and 50 for hazardous materials! Napa had the parts for 800 total and I know this is in Myrtle beach, but kind of smarts? 750 for labor, I will say they were very nice about it and so far so good though... I said thank you kindly, but it burned a bit since I got quotes for 1600 total.

incredible service and expertise. After an oil change at another garage the check oil level warning light came on when car was idling. I had three other shops including the car dealer look at the issue and said it needed a new oil pump which would be about $7000. I found C & G via repair pal and had the car towed there as it was about 40 miles from my house. Lance, mechanic at C&G, reviewed what was done and diagnosed that it was the oil filler cap assembly that needed to be replaced. Total cost was about $160. Lance is the only one that figured it out correctly and even asked me if the price and time to fix it was okay with me. I am so amazed with the team there that I will bring all my vehicles there even though they are about 40 miles away. Have already told friends and relatives about the place. Hands down this is the BEST auto shop! All of the reviews are accurate to their service!! My husband and I came to MB for our honeymoon & tried to get our oil changed elsewhere but couldn’t because the oil plug was cross threaded and they denied service due to liability (totally understand the liability issue). I searched up full auto shops & this was the first one to pop up and the most recommended. In the first 10 minutes (maybe even less, they were super quick & efficient!!), they were able to get the oil plug out and had also changed the oil while we were there. We are 700 miles away from home, but they treated us like family & even gave us tips about the tires when we got back home! This is the best auto shop around town, don’t go anywhere else! ❤️ Trust them, they’ve got your best interest!!

I can not speak highly enough about C&G! Let me start off by saying I brought my e350 box truck in for AC service which they had fixed within the same day, that being said they had also informed me about a bad injector, which i had suspected something , but not sure. Needless to say they had it diagnosed and repaired within another day! I have been so used to people taking their sweet time around here and the constant run around. Not only was the pricing very competitive/fair , they did quality work. I will be a life long customer to them from here on out.

I recently drove from CT to Myrtle Beach and had a lot of car trouble on the way. I stopped once to have it looked at, and they said it was fine. It was not. I was afraid the car would not make get me to my destination. My car ran so poorly I was afraid that it was beyond an affordable repair. A single, elderly woman, far from home is an easy mark for a dishonest mechanic, but the people at this garage were honest and caring. My car runs like brand new, and the mileage went back up to over 31 mpg (over 171,000 miles on it when I brought it in). I greatly appreciate their service and honesty.

Almost 7 years ago we rented a Penske truck that was returned to C&G Auto. They had superb customer service then, and it's refreshing to see they still have that same level of service to this day! I have a Diesel dually that I took to another shop (a very visible name in the area) a few years ago. It was there for the tires to be balanced but I also asked them to check the truck over and let me know what needed repair. They called me back with an almost $6000 estimate. I declined the work and chose to seek a second opinion. I brought the truck to C & G Auto and Truck and after evaluating the truck, they concluded that 3/4 of what was on the other shop’s estimate didn’t need replacement. I happily had them complete the work, which was done above and beyond my expectations and at a very fair price. Fast forward 14 months later, I brought the truck into C&G to be checked over. I let them know the front end most likely needed some parts replaced, since the truck has commercial tires and rims on it which are quite rough on the front end. I let them know that whatever they found in the front end that needed replacement to just go ahead and do it (specifically upper and lower balls joints and tie rod ends, very normal at this age/mileage), no need for a call for the okay from me. I also asked that any other issues they found be documented and we would formulate a plan for a replacement schedule. After evaluating the truck, they let me know that everything was good, and nothing needed replacement. I was happily surprised, but also very impressed, because so many other shops in the area would have taken advantage of the situation and replaced parts that didn’t necessarily need to be replaced since I had already given the okay. These guys are HONEST! As a father of 3, this is the kind of shop you want your son/daughter, your significant other, or anyone that doesn’t have a strong knowledge of vehicles to take their cars/trucks to. They are honest, don’t make unnecessary repairs, their pricing is great when work does need to be done, and they are great people to do business with.

They are honest as can be, they do great work, they are friendly, they absolutely stick to everything they say, and I've never had a problem. Scott & team did not disappoint! Absolutely wonderful experience with one of our trucks. We will be using C&G for all of our fleet maintenance and repairs for all of our vehicles. When the Chevrolet dealer takes weeks to get you in and ties up a vehicle for an entire day or more it’s great to have an expert shop that takes us in on the fly and gets us back out with urgency. 25 years I believe this place exists. Moved to town and needed some assistance with my truck. I spoke to a few people around and so had the same answer. Don't mess with these guys and girls in office. Polite , respectful,easy going , no push push. Excellent work , Excellent pricing.
