Car owner beware... My car sustained over $12K in damages and this shop failed to leave my car up to par. Few issues when my car was returned back to me were scratches on driver side tint, back seat driver side window switch did not work, chips on hood (BAD PAINT JOB), front bumper was not flush with front of car and to fix it they added super glue as you can see from picture. FML ☠ I called and took the car in and they told me they would call me back and never received a call back. Avoid headaches and take your car elsewhere. 1/17/23 The super glue glue you guys used on my front bumper is wearing off can I swing by for another coat 😑? March 2023 update with heavy rains now I have water inside 1 headlight 😡, good job caliber collision. Terrible repair work. Never again.

I am an eighty-four-year-old retired teacher. I had the pleasure of working with an outstanding technician at Caliber Collision in Lake Forest, located on Oldfield in Irvine. My BMW 530i with advanced auto driving technology to its pre-accident condition. The car had sustained severe damage to the undercarriage and the front bumper support system, struts, steering system, and bumper sensors, with an estimated repair cost of nearly $12,000. My technician located authorized BMW parts on the same day the repair was okayed, despite parts availability issues, returning the car to its original condition, especially its cameras. My BMW was ready in just a week and a half, even though the repair was done during a three-day holiday. My technician went above and beyond by ensuring that the repair was done with precision and attention to detail, which was evident when I picked up the vehicle. In conclusion, I highly recommend Caliber Collision in Lake Forest to anyone who needs their BMW vehicle repaired. Their technical expertise, patience, and dedication made the experience efficient and stress-free. Update, minor damage: My BMW 530i got rear-ended, resulting in minor damage. I again took it to Caliber Collision on Oldfield in Irvine on Monday afternoon. They did an excellent job replacing the bumper, painting it, and resetting the sensors and bumper, which had been pushed in and popped back out. Charles kept me updated with daily messages on the repair progress, and by Thursday, it was ready for pickup on Friday morning. I'm really pleased with how my 530i has been restored to its original factory standards.

Got in an accident the insurance company recommend this place. This is the best place you can bring your car to and I don’t even write review that much. Absolutely terrible, stay away at all cost! Brought my car there via insurance claim, I was rear ended and they re-painted the bumper, re-attached the trunk. Terrible job at matching the paint and then blaming the bumper material being plastic, while I know I got my front bumper painted before and the other body shop was able to match the paint which is not that hard. The color on my car is blizzard pearl and it has bit of a different coating on it. Depending on the reviews, I had some faith in this body shop but they messed my cars look and left my car with a terrible labor of body and paint work! I took my car the second time and there was a wet or some greasy spot in my rear carpet area which I did not see until few days and it started smelling really bad and leaving crazy mildew. Delivery quality control is really bad and they want to get rid of the car quick and force you to accept it. I have talked to my insurance and the body shops manager was supposed to return to me but did not get anything yet. Front desk stuff is friendly, but the repair advisors needs to have better knowledge and understanding.

I took my BMW to this Caliber Collision location in Irvine to just get an estimate for repair of minor damage to my front bumper. Miguel took a look at it and said he would try to buff it out as a courtesy. Ten minutes later my bumper looked like new. No charge. Miguel is extremely respectful, courteous, honest and helpful. I would never take my car to any caliber collision nor would I recommend anyone doing so. Car was in shop for 2 weeks longer than they estimated and it due to an employee quitting. When I picked the car, caliber did very poor repair/paint job. I explained to the technician that I would like to bring it back and his answer was this is how Toyota makes their cars. I explained that I bought the car new and his excuse was this is the best they can do for aftermarket parts (I didn’t ask for anything aftermarket). I mentioned that I have had my older cars repaired both open and aftermarket parts before and never did any of them look like this. Charles claimed he has also been repairing cars for 27 years and he would contact insurance to discuss further action. He never contacted the insurance or me again, Charles has 27 years of experience in giving customers excuses.
