This is my go to shop, so very helpful and professional. I had many problems with my motorhome & they walked me through step by step and fixed all of the issues I was having. The body worked turned out amazing & repaired internal issues as well. You can't go wrong with this shop!!!

Made an appointment 1 month out. Explained it was a 42ft horse trailer that I had just purchased and needed inspected. Arrived for the appointment. And was told he was too busy - never called or anything. Rude - never will I go there. what a pain in the ass & unprofessional

I had a similar experience to Don. Called to order a Versahaul hitch carrier because they are listed as vendors on Versahauls website. Got nothing but attitude. The lady who answered at one point said, “we get used and abused.” Apparently a lot of people call for versahaul quotes. However, I told her I already got a quote and was calling to order. She refused to take the part number I was interested in and instead said she’d look for the quote. Said she’d call me back when we both knew she wouldn’t. Didn’t realize I was using and abusing you trying to order a product from you that you sell! Funny thing is I had called a couple weeks ago and got attitude from someone else who actually gave me a quote. That time I actually felt bad for them and thought I’d order through them to help them out. Stupid me. Here are some ideas: write the prices down, stop being versahaul vendors if it’s that stressful for you, offer them below MSRP to be competitive to whomever you seem to be losing your business to. Or maybe, you know, actually take the order from the guy who is actively trying to buy it.

Great customer service and attitude. a couple years after we had our RV roof air conditioner replaced with the shop, (a very professional & fine job done, btw) we got into transmission problem with dash warning light problems recently. Duane/dwayne referred us a couple of fine transmission auto shop nearby since they don't have transmission tech onsite. Very customer oriented service attitude. Thanks.

Short review: 1 ask if he was a Dometic dealer...his response "wish I wasn't " 2. had to disconnect because he had a more important call. he did however call back after explanation of my issues he went on to tell me 3. how tough it is right now with vendors and such...when I said I am empathetic as I owned a business for many years and he said "not in a Pandemic, you didn't" Well I would no trust such a rude personality with service on my new trailer for what most would consider routine.

We had a breakdown with our 34 ft 5th wheel stuck on the freeway. Good Sam roadside Assistant found California camper repair to repair our broken spring. I called Dwayne and he was very helpful getting us off the freeway after 6 hours waiting for a tow and Dwayne accommodated our late evening arrival to his repair shop. To open up his gate so we could put our fifth wheel in for repairs. Dwayne kept us posted on the repairs and called us when it was ready to pick up. I would recommend them for repairs. They were honest and reviewed other problems on my trailer to get us a full safe repair. Thank you Dwayne and California camp repair for accommodating our needs!

I backed into another vehicle with my 40ft Monaco Diplomat. I called Duane at California Camper Repair as he was recommended for doing excellent body work. He told me he was really heavily booked and he would probably not be able to do work for about 3 months. He did me a big favor by squeezing me in. He called me in 7 weeks and told me my RV was ready. When I picked up the next day, it looked like brand new. .He also did some regular maintenance (oil change, etc) for me. Everything was excellent. I highly recommend using Duane’s shop.

Wanted to charge me 2-4 billable hours at $210/hr for a deep charge on a battery. Come on guys. Auto shops do this for free because all you have to do is plug it in and wait. Talk about a shakedown. The service costs would have been more than the value of the battery.

I took my 1973 GMC motorhome in to have the roofline and rails sealed. This was going to be a lot of work so I knew it was going to be expensive. A few days later when the work was completed the total quote was less then the original quote! Yes! This will be my go to place for work done on my GMC. Sorry to here they will be moving to their new location somewhere in San Jose but they will keep their phone number for ease of their new location. Thanks CCR! I had an emergency repair on my trailer. A seam had come lose in an accident, and light was getting in from the outside. They were able to get me in and fix it by the next day. They did a great job, and paid attention to the small details. They even saved me some money by completing the work in fewer hours than they estimated, which shows that they're honest. I will go to them again if I'm in the area and need a repair. The management and staff were very friendly and helpful and went the extra mile.

In trying to get my 1979 RV ready to sell (in a very tight window of time due to an unexpected move) and I broke a window in it. I brought it to the guys here at California Camper (I went to them because they were the only RV repair in San Jose who told me they would take a look at my window today not 2-3 weeks out). They were kind and honest and helped me find a guy who could fix it immediately for a very reasonable price. if I wasn’t selling my camper I would love to bring it here for all the repairs. Duayne and his team fixed a nasty roof dent that other shops said would take weeks and an almost-total gutting of the inside. I don't know what kind of magic they used, but they made my roof look like new in just four days, and they were able to do it without dismantling my van! I trust this place 1000%. Honesty, knowledge, mad skills, and exceptional customer service.

These guys are awesome! I needed help with a leaky roof courtesy of a tussle between some branches & my AC units. They got me in right away, fixed me up ASAP, & were super friendly throughout the process.
