Waited 15 minutes while the guy at the desk discussed solar and batteries at his house. They clearly don’t respect my time and didn’t want my business. ETA: You do not have a customer in your database matching my name, because I could not get anyone to help me. I sat and waited. And left, because clearly, the guy at the desk was more interested in personal affairs than gaining my business.

Stay away from California Smog Repair! The owner was very rude and made me feel unsafe. He wouldn't even work on my 18-year-old nephew's car, just saying it looked 'sketchy' without explaining why. When I tried to ask him about it, he just told me to leave. This person is not helpful and doesn't treat people with respect, especially younger customers. I even have proof of how bad it was. Protect yourself and think twice before going here.

I took my car in bcuz of check engine lite. I'm on fixed income, $884 monthly, I had a state voucher of $850, the cost for repairs of course exceeded the voucher. The Mgr suggested a program to finance difference with 100 day no interest option. Needless to say, my car got fixed n passed smog. Very friendly people.

If I could have picked 0 stars I would have. They did not open the door until 8:05. They service doors were not opened until after that. I needed my A/C serviced. He said the A/C guy doesn't come in until tomorrow unless you call and make a appointment. I called late on Friday and asked them about servicing my A/C. He said they are closed Saturdays & Sundays and open Monday's at 8 am. I said great see you Monday. Nothing was said about needing to make a appointment. The way the way the business is run is unacceptable.

Needed a smog for my 99 Subaru. Not everyone does the pre 2000s vehicle and another shop quoted a stupid price for it. $80 here was reasonable and got me in and out in a timely manner. Staff was polite and the shop looked clean. Thanks folks!

If I could give this company zero stars I would. The worst experience I’ve ever had in my life. I only have one car that needs to get fixed and I only have one car that I have total. When I told them this is my only car And I would like to get it back as soon as possible. They said just drive your other car. I was told to be prepared to leave my car for a couple days up to a week. It took them one week just to do the diagnostic. It has been over a month later and the car is still being worked on. I told them I don’t have thousands of dollars to spend on a rental and they said just borrow someone’s car. There is no sense of urgency in this company. The shop opens at 8 and the mechanics don’t show up till 10. The owner of the company which handles most of the phone calls where no one else can, shows up around 2 to 3 when the shop closes at five. I have taken my car to the shop about 3 to 4 times because I’m still taking it to the shop at this point to fix one issue where they keep making it worse. Never had a leak of oil since I’ve had this car for over two years. It started dripping oil when I got here it back and now they are trying to say that it’s been dripping oil. Please stay away.
