Levon and his staff came highly recommended and they did not disappoint. They are fast, affordable and more importantly, reliable. Highly suggest Cal State over anyone else for oil changes and maintenance of your vehicles. When we were selling an older car, they even offered to help us find it a happy home. 5 Stars for sure!!

This place was AMAZING. I had taken my car to the Nissan dealer a week prior for an oil change to come to find out I have not one, but two nails in my tire (Slow Leaking). One which was in the side well. Me being the researcher I am decided to shop around for the best price, convenience, and service. When I called Levon at Calstate, rather than immediately trying to sell me a tire, he said he could patch it. He told me to stop in and that he would check it out. Even if I needed a new tire this was the cheapest place (~$85) when everywhere else quoted me at least $100.00. I arrived around 6:30 PM the next day, and the lot was FILLED with parked cars which seemed a little intimidating. There were about 6 men there, all whom were willing to help me. Since I didn't have an appointment I wasn't expecting much, other than someone to assess the damage. However after talking withe Levon, he told me to give him 30 minutes since they were in the middle of working on some other vehicles. (Remember, I didn't have an appointment). Within 30 minutes they had taken my wheel off, removed the TWO nails (neither of which were in the side well like Nissan had told me) and patched the holes! He then gave me a discount and only charged me $20.00. I was in shock how fast, easy, and cheap this place was. I will DEFINITELY be using this place for all of my car repairs in the future.

The only auto place I trust. These guys have never charged me for a diagnosis and when they fixed me up, they charged me a fair price. Their service is quick and they always pick up the phone. It was originally going to be in the thousands to replace my driver side mirror, but they were able to replace only the broken part for $80. Also, they don’t talk down to me, which tends to happen with car guys when you’re a lady. Thank you Calstate!

I had a very bad experience at this repair shop today. My tires were showing low pressure, so I asked the repairman to check if there was a nail in them. Instead of doing that, he swapped the front and rear tires. He then charged me $50. My tires still weren't fixed.

You can trust the reviews! I'd been looking for a new mechanic since I'd moved and I finally found them. Not only are Levon and his whole team so nice, but they went above and beyond with taking care of my car. I needed my transmission serviced and wanted the dealer supplied fluid instead of OEM and, although it of course understandably cost more, they still went out of their way to accommodate me. Not only that, but Levon cleaned my engine and their shop has some of the best most competitive pricing around. Your vehicle will be in good hands with them and I am so grateful for their help.

I've walked past it so many times, it never occurred to me to take my car there until I read the reviews, so I decided to give it a go. I am so glad that I did! I walked in to their waiting area and I was greeted by the owner (whose name escapes me). I shared with him the noise my car was making and he confirmed what I had suspected. The axle! He quoted me a price, I gave him my keys, and headed for my walk. Within a few minutes, I was told that the part was ordered. I also asked for them to check my breaks because they had been squeaking. Several hours later, my car had a new axle and my breaks cleaned and adjusted! Extremely happy with the results and the way I was treated. I highly recommend them!! And...I canceled the appointment I had set up with the dealership for the next day 😉😊 Thank you, Calstate!

I’ve been coming to Cal State Auto for 12 years. I come from a family of mechanics and grew up working in my uncle's shop. He passed away some years ago. I was nervous to look for a mechanic I can trust. Luckily, I found Levon! He always explains in detail what’s going on in my cars, takes preventative measures, and adds an extra touch of service every time! His quotes consistently came in lower than other mechanics, so I made him my one-stop shop. He does bodywork, and I get my tires from him. I don’t trust anyone else with my car. Thank you, Levon, for being a genuinely good person and an awesome mechanic! I dread the day you retire but it will be much deserved.
