I caught a flat tire on LSD, had to exit and googled this business took a while to drive there. My children and I made it there, after the hours stated they close at 7pm, granted I made it there at about 6:45, only to get turned down. There was about 6 guys standing at the corner, I can in desperate, as my tire was torn to shreds from having to drive a ways. The one guy who I assumed was the spokesman stated, “ sorry but we are closing, we been here since 6:45 am and want to go home too”. This was said to me like I made the schedule, I totally get when it’s time to go, people want to get home, but with the hours saying close at 7 and it was only to change the tire, I was truly confused. Being that I work in Customer Service as well, I know the importance of helping the customer, cause in hindsight they are the reason we are in business. I had to drive a whole lot longer to get my tire replaced, only to find out my rim had also cracked from having to drive that long ways. I would have respected what was told to me a little better had it been after 7 and not so many mechanics standing there just looking at me, one even stated the tire guy was gone for the day. But I would never set foot in the business again. Thanks for the service fellows. Thank you for the clarification

Amazing service along with very Friendly professionals who care about their customer needs! Came in with an issue that I thought originated from one place but turns out to be somewhere else. They were very honest with me in the beginning and didn’t want to charge me for something they think wasn’t an issue so instead they did a more in depth inspection to find out what the problem was and got it fixed for me. The honesty from them was top notch which is why I would definitely recommend this place to others and come back with any more problems I have with my vehicle.

As a car enthusiast, I do a lot of my own car maintenance, but there are certain things that require special equipment that I need to rely on shops. Decided to try this shop for balance after I noticed one of my winter wheel's weights fell off on my civic type R, and I was taken care off promptly. However, when I got home, I noticed the center cap on the wheel was gone, likely due to improper installation. The shop did end up ordering a new one free of charge for me. I appreciated that, people make mistakes. I ended up returning to the shop a week later to have the other 3 wheels rebalanced, this time with wheels already taken off the car. Each wheel costed me 25 dollars to balance, just like the first one, even though I had already taken them off the car myself. It probably takes a few minutes each wheel to balance. Price is set, I get that, fine with that, but there was also a 20 dollar shop supply charge? I guess for the few pieces of wheel weights? Was a little over 100 dollars to balance 3 free standing wheels. TL;DR: great customer service, friendly people, but probably not the best bang for your buck and questionable attention to detail.

I was on my way to dinner for my daughter’s 14th birthday and I got a flat. At this point, I was already quite a distance from home, 3 kids in the car, and I definitely wouldn’t make it. I came here, and even though they were already booked, Omar fit me in at 6pm so that I can manage to still get out for my daughter’s birthday and get my kids home safely. Great place to go for service! Omar always helps and is transparent with pricing, service options, and patient with customers. He even offered me a ride back to our apartment, only a few blocks away, since it was below 0 outside - super nice. We have brought our 2022 Elantra Hybrid in for a couple of services and it has always been easy to walk in on a Saturday, at opening time, without an appointment. They are flexible and complete work quickly. We just had an oil change, tire rotation, transmission drain/fill, and filter replacement and the car was ready by noon after dropping it off at 7:10am or so on a Saturday! Quick turnaround for a busy weekend. Solid, reliable, and transparent work and services, what more can you ask for?

I can confidently say that Goodyear Car Care Chicago at 1806 S Wabash is one of the very few repair shops I genuinely trust. They’ve taken care of my vehicle for tires, multiple oil changes, and a wide range of maintenance and repair work, and every experience has been outstanding. My car is fully custom and pushing around 800 horsepower, so I’m extremely selective about who touches it. I don’t trust many repair shops because this is a very special build that requires real knowledge, care, and respect. The team here understands that completely. They take their time, communicate clearly!! I highly recommend Goodyear Car Care Chicago on Wabash to anyone looking for reliable service whether it’s a daily driver or a serious performance build.
