They were illegally moving cars and blocking public streets and keeping a mother and her child from heading home. He made threats against her in front of her child as well as attempting to hit her vehicle using his tow truck trying to bully her to drive into on coming traffic in a busy road. Threatened her that if she calls the cops they would force her to drive around when she lives right there and they are blocking traffic illegally and after calling to speak to the owner they made threats to her and tried to bully a mother of four with threats of bodily harm and making false statements like being in business there 20+ years when it’s been open no more then four years. Has the city called in them for repeated violations of junk vehicles without rage illegal parking blocking roads having homeless living in junked cars having dogs on site that are mistreated and being verbally abusive to a woman. This company Is going to be shut down soon enough and the BBB will be noticed as well as the city and county and state of their actions. And they will now have to deal with a bigger problem

I've been taking my older model car to Cardinal Tire and Auto since I moved to Greensboro 3 years ago. They've always addressed my issues promptly and were always upfront and clear with pricing estimates. They actually came in under quote(!) on an air conditioning replacement because they were able to use some existing parts. I have never gotten the sense they tried to push unnecessary work into the repair bill. I know just enough about cars to be dangerous to myself, but I've witnessed the staff take the time with other customers to thoroughly explain what they propose to do or work that needs to be done. I've been many to many repair shops where this dedication to customer service wasn't always the case. Finding a mechanic you can trust is difficult and stressful sometimes (unless you have a family member who is a shade tree mechanic) but I'm very pleased with the service I've received from Cardinal Tire and Auto.

I never leave reviews, but after going here, I have to commend them for their customer service and quality of work. I had a flat, called em, and they immediately were available for me to come in to have it looked at. They were able to patch up my tire (which another tire shop had claimed was unpatchable) and send me on my way with the utmost kindness, speed, and courtesy. They even had told me that if a certain circumstance were to take place, that I should go to a different shop to get it taken care of because it would be better for me and my timeframe. To me, that speaks volumes that a business is willing to do what is best for a customer, even if it means they lose out. I can't recommend these guys enough

Last week I was over at Pine Ball Brick getting materials when I noticed my back tire was flat. A worker there sent me over to this place to ask for someone to help put air into my tire. Ray, John, and Brad immediately helped me. They noticed my tire was leaking in several places. They all stopped what they were doing to make sure my truck would be safe to get back on the road. I don’t know what I would have done without these Men! Thank you! Great service and super nice.

Quoted me yesterday for $440 to replace the heater hose. Said the shipping for the part would be $56 and that would be taken off the total of $440 show up today and the total is $430.66. So I feel that I was quoted incorrectly

It doesn’t get any better than this place! As a momma with 3 little ones, making sure my car is safe is so important to me so finding a place to take my Honda where I know I will get honest and reliable service is truly a blessing! This is the best shop in town. I originally picked these guys for convenience because they were so close to where I live, but now they've got me as a customer for life. I'll always come back here, even if I move further away. They're kind, courteous, and really go the extra mile on digging into what could be causing problems on your car. I was very impressed with my last visit. I was getting a repair that my car manufacturer recommends be followed by a tire alignment. Brad went through the details of what all was needed and outlined the cost and explained that the cost included the recommended alignment. I really appreciate the customer service of going through those details and then the followup to make sure my car was driving properly. They're great and we'll continue going to them for all of our vehicle repairs.

I took my van here, because the a/c wasn’t working. They performed their a/c service that costs around $80. When picking up my van I was told that they performed the service, but that my van still did not have any cool air due to a leak, even though they refilled the Freon. I was then told that I would need $1800 worth of repairs to fix it. I wasn’t thrilled with this, but thought “oh well, it is what it is” and I will try to save up to get that fixed. A month later after continuing to have not one drop of cool air, my dad adds some Freon to my van (just to see). I told him the mechanic already told me I have to do the repair before it will work at all!!! My dad feels inside and it starts blowing cold air!!!!! Today is the next day, I still have cold air blowing!!! Apparently no Freon was added to my vehicle when I paid for it!!! I went back today, extremely angry, and explained what had happened. I felt like they had taken advantage of me. I wouldn’t know if they really put the Freon in or not right??? I think it was the owner that I spoke to today and he told me that if they put in Freon and there is a leak then they will take it back out, because it’s against the law to let those fumes leak. Then he also told me that when there is a leak they will call the customer to see if they want to leave it in the car or not. So I don’t know if they were supposed to ask me or not, but no one asked me anything!!! Actually they told me that they put it in and it didn’t make a difference, that adding Freon will not give me cool air!!! They didn’t say “we put it in and noticed the leak so we drained it out”. They told me they performed the service and added Freon!! I read the reviews that say it’s a good place with honest people, but after what I experienced, this is a level of shady I haven’t had the pleasure of experiencing yet. The owner did refund my money, which I appreciate since they lied about the service they told me they performed. So if you want a place that actually does what they say then I would check around. I thought I finally found a good honest mechanic from the other google reviews. According to the owner I’m the only one they’ve ever done this to, I think I’m just the only one that caught them. I honestly think he doesn’t know his employees as well as maybe he thinks. Maybe his technicians are trying to get a raise, I really don’t know. I’m not sure why the technician decided to lie about putting the Freon in, but that definitely made this business look like it’s trying to swindle people into repairs and made me and my children do a lot of unnecessary sweating!!! I feel like I was treated like I know nothing about cars, so how would I know right? I would definitely steer clear of this place, unless you know about cars and can verify that they complete whatever service you pay for.

I had a great experience. We suggested the issue with our car and they did a test to confirm it. The quote was on the high end, but was willing to work with me. The service was done the same day which is a breath of fresh air. Again a little high on price, but counterbalanced with same day job completion. I received great customer service. I had a synthetic oil change and two wheel bearings replaced the same day.

Went and asked if they would do an alignment on my camry. It is on adjustable coilovers and 19" wheels. Some grouchy old man told me it was too low. I said no problem I'll raise it up and he proceeded to be extremely rude and said "we don't wanna line you up find you somebody else. I have 6 ASE certs and more toyota and lexus certs than they can count. I just wanted to have my car aligned. And pay for a service e they offer. Guy was an absolute jerk off and I'll be sure to go back for his name. This is exactly why no one likes mechanics haha I delt with it for 11 years. Too bad I don't have a hunter rack.

They left bolts untightened and barely hanging on after a major repair. Upon trying to get that resolved, they still managed to charge me for resolving something that should have been done prior to their installation of the brake drums that weren't done correctly. When they make a mistake, they charge you to fix it later. I had spent many thousands with them prior to this treatment, which caused me to start using a different shop.
