Paid $1,000+ for repairs that ended up being unnecessary. Their misdiagnosis cost me an extra $800. Mass Airflow sensor was the cause of my issues which isn't expensive at all to have replaced in comparison to what they charged me when they were throwing parts at it. Avoid at all costs there are better mechanics around. Very shady people

Honesty is there middle name! It's so nice to have a mechanic who will be honest with you and not try to sell you something you don't need. So glad I took my Jeep here, will be back for any of my Mopar needs.

I generally go to Oakleys for my annual auto inspection. They are always quick and courteous. I have also watched them with other customers and they treat everyone the same and they have loyal customers.

They are very friendly and helpful. Go out of their way to give you a great experience. They stay pretty busy, but it is worth it! Most honest mechanics I've ever met.

This place is a family owned business, the Father Ed and son Josh are AMAZING!!! They are very straight forward. They will tell if you if something needs to be done ASAP, if it can't wait alittle while, if you're just good to go. They are extremely fair with their pricing and will always try to find a way to save you money. They never upsell, they have never told me I needed anything I didnt. I went to have an oxygen censor done somewhere else and the place told me 560.00. I went to Oakleys, they did it for 180.00. and it never went off again. When they place their parts in your car you always get a 12-18 month warranty on EVERY part, if it fails for any reason they will replace it. They stay in communication throughout the process of diagnosing the problem. And will even deliver the vehicle to you if you don't have a secondary vehicle to go to the shop. I love this place, have been going to them for 4 years. Highly highly recommend them.

I took my vehicle in about a month ago for a tune up. All went well. They even discovered my fuel filter had probably never been changed. But when I went back 3 weeks later, calling and scheduling a time for the next day in need of front brakes AND rotors. (My dad was a mechanic, so I knew) it was as if they didn't hear me say I needed rotors too. They came and informed me they would need to replace them too, and it was all I could do not to scream and say "I told you that yesterday". But, I was under a lot of stress as my grandmother had just passed away and was buried the day before I had the work done. They do good work at a decent price, but should listen to their customers before hand. Some of us females do know a thing or two about vehicles. I myself used to change my own oil, etc., but am at an age I can't anymore. If I tell you "I know I need rotors" on the phone, then, I KNOW I need rotors, please don't come back in where I'm waiting and tell me I need them. I told you I needed them. Just have them there. ....daughter of a good mechanic ☺

Got a tire patched. Great job, fast service. Update: got my brakes done. Friendly service, prompt work. I'm not used to paying for diagnostics and they charge. (I know I'm spoiled.) Prices are average for the area.

I am not going to say that I received good service. It was SUPERIOR! One of the main things I appreciate is that I could speak to anyone and did NOT get different stories about my repairs. Another thing that stands out is Oakly's all around Quality of Service. Not only do I highly recommend them, Oakly's Auto Worx is a straight-shooter establishment. Jake, Heather, & the team always gave me the facts concerning vehicle.

Long story short, woke up to go out and found that my battery was dead. I have a Dodge Durango that has the battery under the passenger seat. Apparently it's a complicated replacement. I called Oakleys and spoke to the owner Ed. He tod me to bring it right in. When I arrived Ed met me at the entrance and guided me right into the shop. To say he was friendly, is an understatement. Very professional, kind and trustworthy people. I recommend Oakley very highly.

I had services performed at the new location on Broadway street in Greensboro. These guys know what they are doing. My car rides like a dream. Special thanks to Bill who took time to share safety concerns related to my vehicle. I will definitely return if needed. The shop is clean and in a great location. Check them out.

This business honestly deserves zero stars. The "inspection" cost $90 and it took them TWO days of having my vehicle to tell me that it wouldn't pass. I've dealt with some sketchy mechanics, and they are by far the worst I've encountered

Long story short had an issue with my Ford expedition involving the ignition coil.... Went out on me at work towards the end of my shift on top of a lot of shops said they didn't trust working on it because of a known spark plug issue.... One shop I contacted referred me to Oakleys and it was a blessing in disguise 🥸 Had the trick towed there and gave them a light rundown of what was going on.. They called first thing this morning and gave me the diagnostic results And the truck was ready before lunch... Definitely won't be going anywhere else!!! Appreciate u guys for the excellent service

Didn't want to give 1 star because they supposedly fixed my husband's truck putting in new engine was fine for couple weeks and starting acting up again took it in and they kept few days said we dont know whats wrong with it how are you mechanics if you can't find a problem. You all screwed the truck up so bad had to get rid of it and didn't own up to what u messed up. Please don't take your vehicles here. Also must say with our warranty still had to pay like 5k out of pocket for absolutely nothing.

Just had major repairs done to my 1990 f150 at Oakley, very professional, friendly and threw in some extras at no charge. Satisfied as I can be with an older truck. Ed was on top of my repairs and the most important thing, he kept me informed of the progress. Thanks. Would recommend.

Before you take your vehicle to Oakley’s Auto Worx on Broadway St., please read this. My experience ended in a courtroom — and I won a judgment against them. I brought my Dodge Durango to their Broadway location for a no-start issue. I paid $1,862.50 after being told the problem was fixed. Just eleven days later, my vehicle failed in the exact same way, and Oakley’s had to tow it back to their shop because their repair didn’t hold up. After that tow, the explanations changed constantly. I was told it would be ready on Monday, then told something different, then told they had figured it out. But when I arrived to pick it up, I was suddenly asked to pay almost $600 more for the same issue they were supposed to have fixed the first time. When I questioned that, I was told to take my keys and leave. Two days later, the vehicle broke down again with the same symptoms and the same codes. At that point, I told the owner, Ed, in writing that I would be taking the vehicle elsewhere. His response was a very clear text: “I will have you a check today.” That message is what led me to take the SUV to another shop that properly diagnosed and fixed the real problem. When I returned to collect the refund that he promised me in writing, the story changed again. The promised amount shifted. Eventually the promise itself was denied. I was left with no vehicle, a failed repair, and a bill for a second shop. So I took the matter to small claims court. The shop came with a lawyer. I came with evidence: receipts, photos, codes, and the written refund promise. After hearing the case, the court ruled in my favor and entered a judgment against Oakley’s Auto Worx. That judgment is now recorded in the public court system. I’m posting this review for one reason: so other customers know the full picture before doing business here. My vehicle broke down multiple times after their repair, the refund I was promised in writing was not honored, and the situation ended with a judge ruling against the shop. Everyone has to decide where to take their vehicle. Based on everything I experienced and everything the court confirmed, I cannot recommend this shop.
