I called the Salinas Mazda parts department to place an order. Their computer systems were down. The parts tech helped me identify the proper parts. He said that they would call me. I never received a call for the status of the order. I called back the next week to verify that the parts were there for my service appointment. Parts department was not available at the time. The service tech said that my parts were there. I drove to the dealership which is about 30 minutes away. Since the labor quote was around $600, I decided to do the work myself as it is a basic service. Only 1 of the parts was available for pick up. One part was scheduled to arrive 2 weeks later. 1 part was on backorder. The center piece is on backorder and has to be installed first before the right and the left. The parts tech helped me with a timeline of when the parts would come in and from where. I went on google to order the parts that I have not received from the dealership. The parts were 20 to 30 dollars cheaper and instock. I called to request a refund. The manager said that I would have to come back to the dealership to receive a credit card refund. I don’t understand why I would have to drive there to get a refund. Inconvenience. I don’t mind paying a restocking fee for the part that is arriving 2 weeks later. My mistake for not ordering the parts online. The dealership could have gone online to order the parts for me but they did not. If a part is not in stock then get it from somewhere else. Common sense for the dealership and myself. Bad customer service. Main reason why I need the parts is because if you let the car sit in the sun without the garnishes. The windshield glue gets damaged from the sun. Hopefully this will not be a future problem. I do need an oil change but I would rather do the service myself. Trust is one of the most important parts in a customer provider relationship. I still blame myself for my actions. Mazda parts department opened late. Had to walk to VW to get help. Was not charged a restocking fee. 4 gallons of gas and time.

Was looking to buy the new CX-90 PHEV. I went the dealership to schedule a test drive. Elmer and Jay R helped us to-test drive the vehicle and also discussed out the door price. I reached out to Jay the same day to walk in and finalize the purchase. He graciously suggested that we test drive Within the next couple hours, we were able to finish the process and drive back with our new car. We purchased a CX-50 Hybrid and were pleased with the Sales Consultant Jay--R and the finance Representative Marco. Jay-R was knowledgeable as to the vehicle's technical specs and during the test drive he showed us how to activate some of the vehicle's features such as, adaptive crouse control, Lane assist, etc. Unlike other dealers I visited, We did not feel pressure to make the purchase, nor were directed to a specific vehicle they would have liked to unload on us. We chose the vehicle we wanted. I made it clear we knew the value of the vehicle and had gotten an out the door price offer from another dealer. Jay-R came really close to match the offer we received from the other dealer, so we decided to proceed. It took a little bit of time while we were turned over to Marco at finance (they are trying to make money of course, it is their job) who came to offer us an almost $5K extended warranty, but we turned it down and there was no insistence to reconsider. All In all, a great experience. We'll see how service and standard warranty is handled in the future, but we recomend Cardinale Mazda Salinas! Great place to buy a vehicle!

The only thing that I need to say who tells their customer that they are liars those are the words that Ely used toward me he needs to work on his customer service and use the correct words while talking to someone that is so unprofessional supposly that they called me to let me know that my car was ready for pick up and I did not received no call I even show all the calls that I received that day!!! the funny part is that they say that the car was checked and no noise while they break I told Ely that's so weird that they cannot heard it when they break and I can he did not say nothing the noise is still there when I break!!!! Beside all that I want to thank Armando and Memo for their great customer service they treat you like family very welcoming!

There's only one real issue i did have when purchasing my 2025 Mazda MX5 with them. As a first time buyer I was never told id need to purchase insurance and bring proof of insurance when picking up the car. No one told me throughout the process and until I got there the day I picked up is when I was notified. They did however resolve the issue free of charge for me and I got a week grace period to buy the insurance and provide proof to the bank. Theyre very friendly just like any other dealer, but I did received solutions for any issues that came to mind. They were really patient with me and im glad the sale went through for my Miata!

I listed out to him what I was looking for, and he had a vehicle available that checked off all my preferences. I would recommend working with him if looking for a new or used vehicle. He was very factual about the used car that we purchased and did not use any deceptive tactics just to make a sale. I went for an oil change service and my appointment was 10:30am. This was my first trip after purchasing. And I asked the person while he was getting my information that how long it would take for an oil change his response was about hour and half and we gonna get you out by 12pm. It was 1:30pm that I decided to make a complaint to their customer service office. And the manager was not available, they asked me to see the sales manager instead. The bottom line is they misrepresented me as far as duration of the service. Instead of hour and half I was waiting there 3 hours. I would never wait 3 hours waiting for an oil change. Fortunately this was my first visit and i decided to make it the last visit from Mazda Cardinale service. And i don’t recommend that for anyone for any service.

Terrible communication with customers. The ladies that answer the phone are kind and try and be as helpful as possible, but trying to get a hold of a service advisor and/or manger is nearly impossible. When I picked up my car, I just felt as though I was burdening everyone that worked there. They just handed me my keys and didn’t mention where my car was parked or offer to bring it around to me. I had to walk with my young son off to the side, while carrying his car seat to get my car. Their customer service is so frustrating. I had a possible warranty issue with my car, perhaps that is why I was treated so badly.

We drove 2 hours on 1/10/26 specifically to test drive a Ram TRX, and unfortunately the experience was extremely disappointing due to the conduct of the used sales manager. From the start, we were treated as if we were not serious buyers. The used sales manager refused to allow a test drive, stating that the vehicle has “ often been test driven by 18 year olds from car shows who are not serious buyers” an odd and dismissive explanation. My husband and I are both in our mid-30s and are established professionals, yet we were not given the basic courtesy of a test drive. When we asked to sit down and discuss the vehicle or the sale, the used sales manager declined, stating that "if a buyer knows what they want, they will buy it at the listed price without test driving." This approach felt dismissive, unprofessional, and disrespectful. I do want to highlight that Adrian, the salesperson who initially helped us, was kind, attentive, and genuinely tried to be helpful. Unfortunately, his efforts were overshadowed by the behavior of the used sales manager, who clearly needs additional training in customer service, professionalism, and how to assess buyers without making assumptions. Driving two hours for this level of treatment was frustrating and disappointing. We expected a professional experience and were met with unnecessary judgment instead.

I wasn’t even shopping for a new car, was walking around with my 3 year old and saw they had jump houses so of course my son wanted to go..Mackenzie was so nice and let him jump and didn’t even push me to buy a car. Told me he had a car that was similar to my suv but better. Just gave me his card and said if I’m ever looking to let him know..I figured I’d look since we had time. He helped me so fast to get the numbers I needed AND play with my kid so I could get things handled in LESS THAN 3 hours!!! Unheard of!! He was amazing!
