Needed brake work done, costly due to the parts but labor was reasonable and quick turnaround

The Mercedes-Benz dealership with the worst sales service in the United States, the sales staff are extremely unprofessional, and the service quality is extremely poor. I suggest you change to another dealership!

Look up Mercedes brakes squeal before you buy. Carlton won't do anything about it either. I've had way better customer service at other dealerships in the area

Over the past 20 years, I have used six different Mercedes service departments in SC/NC. Sammy Hood at Carlton is, by far, the best, most responsive, and most helpful service technician with whom I have dealt. I used to worry when my car needed work -- now, I actually enjoy taking my car in to be serviced, knowing it will be returned to me even better! If you need anything for your Mercedes, call Sammy at Carlton!

Want something done right then this is your place thanks chase and crew had a lot done at one time and have a few more kinks to get out but for this used vehicle they have me smooth sailing again.

WOW, I've never heard of a dealer refusing service because your car is old. I bought my car three years ago from the Charlotte Mercedes-Benz dealer. I have a 2013 E Class. I asked about alignment, and they said we don't work on old cars. Then I saw reviews here and decided to contribute to the community

Fabulous customer service at Carlton Motorcars! I just traded in my car for a newer model … and as a return customer, I knew the Carlton Motorcars team was excellent — but a shout out is in order to the team for once again exceeding all expectations! Truly an elite dealership — showcasing impressive customer focus within every department of the organization.

Dropped my car off on Jan. 12th to get a new rear sub-frame, which was covered under extended warranty. The service writer told me it would probably take a couple days to complete the job and that he would keep me updated. On Wednesday the 14th, service writer checked in with me and said they were looking at a 1pm completion that day. Messaged me again and said no, it’ll be Friday now. This continued for a week and a half. I just got my car back yesterday and had no loaner for the duration of them keeping my car. This is a day job at best. When I went to pick up the car yesterday, the 22nd, I noticed the parking brake light was not going off when the parking brake was released. Not to mention, the steering wheel was not straight because they didn’t do the required alignment. I parked the car, went back in, and told the service writer that the parking brake was stuck. Service writer comes out and proceeds to gaslight me. Shows me a picture he took of the dash that supposedly had the brake light on at the time I brought it in on the 12th. However. if the parking brake is left on, the dash flashes red and dings repeatedly if you go over 5mph. The brake light was NOT on at the time of dropping the car off. You have to take the parking brake off to replace the sub-frame and the tech failed to correct this before turning the car in. And instead of the service writer acknowledging that they messed up, proceeded to state that he didn’t know how I missed the brake light on when I turned it in. They also didn’t test drive like they were supposed to. Same miles in was the same miles out. The lack of test drive was to suffice the parking brake light staying on. Y’all know better. So do better.
