Yknow I thought this place was good. They did work for me and we came to an agreement for me to pay monthly for the services. Not only did I pay monthly but every two weeks consistently. NEVER missed a payment. I injured myself to a degree where I had to switch jobs, leaving me out of commission, unable to move correctly and it put me back financially for weeks while I sorted the issue out started physical therapy leaving me unable to make it all the way to Columbia to pay in person. Not only that, but now I’m getting a letter saying this “family” company got lawyers against me! Real nice. ZERO attempts at contacting me, can’t get ahold of them due to my new work schedule and the fact their VM box is ALWAYS full and they barely answer the phone. Absolutely disgusting thing to do to a customer who quite literally never missed a payment and only spoke highly of the company but no more. I’m absolutely taken aback, shocked and angry. I guess they don’t have any issues causing problems for hard working people who live paycheck to paycheck. No family or community values there. Ridiculous.

We took our vehicle in for a diagnostic. The staff was very professional. Craig was very nice to work with. We found him honest and fair. We definitely recommend this business and would use their services again.

Josh was very attentive and walked me through my repair step by step. He did not try to sell me unneeded parts and was more than fair with the price. I would highly recommend and plan to use them in the future.

John, Josh and Crew I wanted to send a great big thank you for the super brake and rotor job you did on my truck. I know it's been a couple of weeks but I wanted to be sure all was good with my truck and I can honestly say I have not had a single issue. I am so glad I came across you guys. Not only did you diagnose the rotor issue when other shops didn't, you took the time to explain why I was having the problem in the first place. Again, thank you for your honesty and patience with me. Knowing my truck is my only means of transportation you found time to schedule me in. I am truly appreciative. You definitely stand behind your word, you fix it right the first time and your customer service is above all the rest. You guys are a first class team!

The guys here are great!! They have great prices and do great work, if you are looking for a place to do work on your car or just a check up I recommend this place 😁. They are honest people and made me feel very comfortable. My car shut off when I was on the highway, I had it towed here and they fixed it the next day! Not even 24 hours. At a reasonable price.

I was having problems with my brakes and they fixed me up in an hour! I lost my keys the first appointment I made and by the time I found them it was too late 😶 they still fit me in the same week. Thank you guys! You rock! They also confirmed my wheel bearing was going. I didn't want to hear that but I knew it was coming. I'm thankful for them always working with me in whatever situation I fall in. A vehicle is necessary. Having good people do good work is important. I recommend certified auto!

Terrible mechanic. Car wasn’t starting so I brought it to them. Checked everything and claimed it was my starter. Paid $500 for it and sent me on my way. Days later it wasn’t starting again, so I brought it back. They then said it was my battery and they were not going to compensate me in any way and tried to manipulate it as they never diagnosed it. Front desk was rude, didn’t take any accountability for making the wrong repair. Terrible customer service, terrible work

Honestly, this place is the best! I stumbled upon them after following a thread on Facebook about how good they are here. I walked in, introduced myself as someone who’s been raked over by numerous other garages, and had the pleasure of Rob coming out of the office to chat with me, and from that day, I’ve brought my 2 vehicles there- they’ve been great each time. The people I’ve referred have been equally as happy. From the front desk on back, these folks are TOP NOTCH. They’re honest, reasonably priced, and do a fantastic job.

I was so hesitant to trust someone new to work on my car! I was in need of a really big/expensive repair. Josh was so PATIENT and helpful during my decision process. He never refused a call from me and answered my MANY MANY questions with professionalism. Rob was also wonderful helping me arrange and rearrange a rental car. They both worked diligently to help give me the best price and supported me when working with the rental car company! I had to bring the car back for a follow up and they took great care of me while being fair! I am grateful for all of the recommendations from other people in town! It gives me piece of mind that our family has found a honest and fair auto repair company so local to home. to ALL of the techs who worked on my car - you did a great job! Thank you for doing your best work! I have to drive my kids in this car and I appreciate your time and knowledge!!! To the front desk and back office staff... thank you for always being so nice and professional!

I went for a routine oil change. I was informed my cabin air filter had a mouse nest and they asked if I wanted them to replace it and vacuum the residue. A $20.00 part I was planning to do myself but since I was there I said go ahead. Other than that the car is in great shape. $191.00??? My friend just had his truck's oil change there and it was $85.00. All I can say is WOMEN BEWARE. I was totally taken advantage of and won't be going back!!

TLDR: Quoted me 4100+ for a fix that a different shop in the area quoted for 850 and might try to take advantage of you. My car needed a new flex pipe because it had an exhaust leak. I went to certified because i had heard they were known for doing quick, cost-efficient jobs. When I got my quote from them, they explained that supposedly my entire exhaust system is rotted out and that it would cost $4100 because I needed everything fixed from the manifold to the mufflers and cat. Thats 125% of what I even paid for the car in the first place. Skeptical, I jacked up my car and found surface rust on SOME exhaust components and and the header, but nowhere near as much damage as they claimed. If everyone in New England replaced their entire exhaust system because of a little rust we'd all be paying 4k a year for exhaust work. I brought my car to a different shop and got a quote for $850 for the flex pipe fix, about a fifth of what certified estimated. When I told them what certified had estimated they said it was excessive for what my car actually needed. It seemed as though certified assumed I would pay any amount/believe whatever they said. Also, other reviews seem to reflect that these guys will take advantage of you if you're a woman and/or don't appear knowledgeable about cars. For issues aside from simple oil changes, I would recommend looking at other shops that won't try to squeeze money from you or over-diagnose

Can’t recommend Josh , Kristyn and the rest of the team. Always been great at every issue I’ve broght to them and Josh goes out of his way to be sure it gets fixed 100 percent. Kristyn is always professional and so helpful even when she is multitasked and being pulled in so many directions. Won’t bring my car anywhere else !!

Brought my van in to get alternator fixed was told brakes bad in rear and a boot was cracked. I agreed to the repairs. The car was there for a week. When I picked it up the boot was not repaired and the car is very noisy. I noticed right away my seat was adjusted on every section not just pulled back. The front seat was laying flat and the movie screen was open and a movie was in the player, the mileage on my car was a hundred miles over the amount on the odometer when I left it. I also found snack wrappers in the van in the back. I contacted the manager and expressed my concern. I was told the owner would call me back on Monday. He did not call me and I had to call him. He did not want to discuss the use of the car despite my sending in pictures of the odometer before and after drop off. It was very obvious someone used my van to transport children. the bill was $4100 and it was not fixed. I will be taking it elsewhere to get the repairs completed. I am very disappointed and angry that I was taken advantage of in this way.

I brought my Tundra in for a check engine light. I explained to anyone that would listen (no one would) that the catalytic converters and O2 sensors were all brand new OEM Toyota parts (less than a year and 5000 miles). They insisted I needed new O2 sensors and installed two at a cost of $700.00. The check engine light came back on the next day. They wanted to cut out my catalytic converters and weld in a straight pipe to "rule out" the catalytic converter. I pulled my truck out of there and brought it to a Toyota dealer. It turned out to be a wiring issue and Toyota fixed it. I called Certified to speak to the owner about the mis-diagnosis and unnecessary replacement of my O2 sensors. The manager said he was not in but she would be sure to have him return my call. I never got a call back. Certified does not listen to their customers when they explain to them the history of the vehicle. The simply hooked my vehicle up to a code reader and replaced parts without truly diagnosing the problem. They also don't have the courtesy to call a customer back to address a complaint. I will not be back there...

I'm not sure I would go here. Every time we bring one of our cars here it's not once and go. We need to bring the car back two or three times. Nice people, but I don't think they have a good idea of what they're doing. We spent 1300 dollars to have our truck fixed. And it's overheated by the time we hit route 6, which is just about a mile away. I wouldn't leave this review if this was just an isolated incident. But every time they work on one of our cars, something goes wrong as we're leaving.

Tyler was kind, but unfortunately, the communication at this shop was very poor. I dropped my car off, and it sat untouched for the entire day, not even a full diagnosis was completed. While I appreciated that they took the car in a day early, it didn’t make much difference since no work was actually done. Based on my experience, I’m not confident in their repair knowledge or customer service. I would not recommend this shop.
