Transmission was replaced with a refurbished one on my 2016 hyundai elantra. Took a while for them to complete the job cause of a part that took longer than normal to get but I am very satisfied with work that they did. Also JR was great on keeping me informed on progress. I highly recommend.

I was disappointed. I took my car in for a diagnosis for my transmission. It took 2 days to get an answer. I actually had to call them. They said transmission was bad and needed overhaul or a used one. They qouted around $2000 for both solutions. They said they would charge me $1300 for a used transmission not including labor. I wasn't falling for a overpriced quote so I called around and most places were charging half or less for a used transmission and offered a longer warranty. I will not take my business or recommend this place. Overpriced is basically what I have to say.

Reliable timing. overall my experience with overhauling my transmission was not a great one but they were able to help me and for a reasonable price they fix the transmission in my car runs like brand-new now thank you so much guys.and by me saying overhauling my transmission was not great one it had nothing to do with their service. Extremely pleased with their work

I went to Cesar's to see if I could have a test drive of my truck done to check my transmission. Was waited on quickly by Adolfo. He said he could test drive and hopefully have an answer. Was gone a few minutes and returned with some info but was something unrelated to transmission repairs and when I asked for a referral, he provided one. Very happy with the experience I had with Cesar's and would return if I ever have the need. (PS, I am from Brownsville and chose to travel to Harlingen to seek a transmission mechanic!)

Best transmission shop ever when Pep Boys was trying to charge me $10,000 to replace my transmission because supposedly they don’t fix transmissions they can only replace them, I took it to Cesar and only paid $320 and actually fix the problem also they did let me know. I have a problem with my engine and recommended me to a trusted mechanic shop specialize in engines. I recommend Cesar 100% will go back.

For any Winter Texans or locals I would highly recommend these guys! Great job! Honest, organized, excellent facilties! Price was very fair. I don't trust many shops because of my background calling on shops but these guys are legit!

This place was recommended by some constituents who had similar issues with their transmission and thus we elected to secure their services. However, after a new transmission and $3,600 later our GMC is still not shifting correctly. We were left stranded in town the wrecker came and took it back to shop for another 1 week of work and we are still having issues. Yet, they won’t answer our calls and we have stopped by the shop to be blown off that no one is available to assist. We had to ask our general mechanic to intercede for us and as of yet the truck is not running properly with no solution to date and 3 visits to the shop and 4 weeks of downtime. Our experience with Cesar Transmission has been unsatisfactory and costly.
