I had an alternator and belt replacement I thought the price for those averaged around 500 so I didn’t expect to pay double or triple.. The Service Tech named Chris was very helpful and did as much as he could to help me offering finance plans and speaking to his manager. He was able to hold the car until I was able to turn over my entire pay check to pay for the repair so I was more than thankful..

I took my car in for an oil change on a Friday and they had it ready within the timeframe (1.5 hours) they gave me. Everyone I interacted with was friendly. My only feedback: (1) Scheduling an appointment is more to let them know you’re coming than it is to give you priority. Another guy showed up at the same time as me because we both had oil changes “scheduled” for the same time. (2) I’d prefer them to print out the invoice or at least show it on a screen and walk me through what they charged me and what they recommend/why. Instead, they just told me what I owed and said that my invoice (with recommendations) would be sent to my email. But the invoice doesn’t have notes about how urgent any of the recommendations are.

Thank you for your professional and expeditious service. I stopped by to get my car inspected, no appointment and no previous work having been done at Chapel Hill Tire. You guys were extremely accommodating, professional, and super nice.

Chapel Hill Tire Woodcroft is a great place to have experts take care of your vehicle. Their professionalism was immediately noticeable and appreciated. Chris was the associate that helped me and his customer service was OUTSTANDING! He greeted me as soon as I came in, listened to my requests , then set and exceeded my expectations. He kept me updated on the progress of the work and I was able to leave earlier than expected. Chapel Hill Tire Woodcroft gets my vote and I will be back.

Overall their customer service is great, no complaints there and the mechanics did a great job. Their costs are outrageous and their “free” diagnostic is applied through labor charges if they fix it. Their mark up on parts is very high. I’ll be a returning customer if they rein in their outrageous prices on parts and labor charges.

Friendly, competent, and very professional service. I also greatly appreciated the ride home and back, which made this experience 10 times better and much more doable as a busy person! The video was also a nice touch and something I’ve never seen before!

Customer Service was OVER THE TOP Which in this day and age is RARE. They helped me understand what my Main Service Maintenance entailed/ because I did not have a service manual. They were very upfront with the pricing and “ heard” me regarding my concerns with my brakes. It was a pleasure to do business. Thanks! Kimberly

The Chapel Hill Tires in Woodcroft is excellent. Always efficient, timely, and courteous. I found them after being frustrated with my dealership Service center and am so glad I did. I would highly recommend! They have helped me with new tires at a reasonable price and have taken care of my auto maintenance since early 2025.

I've been a regular customer of this shop for a number of years. However, as of late, I have become very dissatisfied with them. Their work has become increasingly sloppy. Last time I brought my car in for an oil change they broke or removed a fastener holding the fill tube in place for the windshield washer fluid, causing the tube to come out of the reservoir, and then sent me a picture of the fluid on the floor, as if it was something I needed to have fixed. They also strongly encouraged me that I needed to replace my rear shocks because they were shot and ruining my tires. Since the price they quoted me was no better than the dealer's, I decided I to take it there and get a second opinion. Upon examining the car, they assured me that the shocks and all the rest of the suspension are in great shape. I sadly just can't trust Chapel Hill Tire anymore.

I’ve only taken my Honda CR-V here for 6 years since I bought it, but I will not be returning to Chapel Hill Tire due to decisions they made that have shortened the life of my vehicle and caused me to have to go elsewhere to fix their mistakes. I don’t know if it’s incompetence or something else. I know some great people there, but I can’t trust their company’s recommendations or service quality anymore when it was going to cost me a total of $3,200 to fix things their way instead of hiring someone else to treat the root issue they created for $200. The details are that they have used a green universal coolant in my vehicle when they should have used a blue Honda coolant that is less acidic for the aluminum engine, radiator, heating core and also slowly cause clogs. This caused a clogged heater core over time, which they couldn’t fix after 4 flushes. I looked up a solution online that a Honda dealership technician recommended and Chapel Hill Tire said they would only use their BG products, not the CLR flush recommended online. I took it to another shop to get a second opinion on why CHT couldn’t fix my car with 4 flushes which resulted a minor amount of heat from the vents and recommended more flushes with a possible heater core replacement for $2,400. This new mechanic fixed it with one flush. He also identified that CHT didn’t calibrate the blendor actuator they installed for several hundred dollars as part of their attempts to fix the heat in my vehicle. Without the calibration the actuator would not move properly and allow airflow when my car asked it too.

Made an appt for service for 2pm. Arrived at 1:55p, was told it would be an hour and a half for my vehicle to get an oil change and inspection. It's an overall solid place, nice people and they do good work, but why did I make an appt just for the automated text service to let me know no one started working on my car until 3p? I did the appt service to avoid a wait like at a walk-in place so not sure what the benefit was of bothering to make an appt at all

Outstanding service. Went for a SMOG check and paid $30. Appreciate the detailed to do list for my car and what is more urgent to take care of. Had Ben (Service and Dante (Technician) thank you so much, both of you for the excellent service.

First time using for an oil change; service was great and helpful, turnaround time was fast - I received text updates and scanned/photos from inspection points in my car. No hassle and smooth service, answered all my questions, etc.

I had a fantastic experience at Chapel Hill Tire in Woodcroft. The team was professional, transparent, and really took the time to walk me through everything. I came in for new tires on my Porsche Macan, and they explained clearly why my vehicle needed different-sized tires and helped me choose the right Michelin options. The work was done efficiently, the pricing was fair for the quality, and they applied several discounts without me even asking. The whole process felt honest and customer-focused. I’ll definitely be coming back for future service. Highly recommended!

Candidly, I am not a person who leaves reviews. However, my experience with Thaang (most likely spelling it wrong) was outstanding and deserves recognition. I needed a new tire, got a flat. He was patient, kind and went above and beyond to help me get money back from Continental Tire, hunt down the most appropriate tire with correct amount of tread-wear for my all wheel drive vehicle and gave me a fantastic deal on the tire plus warranty package. He paid for my Uber from work to the shop too. 10/10 would recommend this man and he deserves a raise and a promotion. Thank you so much!

Needed an oil change and tire rotation, they were able to get me in, which I appreciate. However, after giving me a $20 off coupon, I still paid $109 for an oil change and tire rotation!!! My car is not a diesel, just a normal car, so that price is outrageous. This was my 6th or 7th one on this car, have and have always paid $65-70 and at a franchise auto dealership! Glad I don’t have to see these guys often. The people working were very nice and service was quick. This 3 stars rating is for the price of services

I want to start by saying my repair wasn't the easiest because I had an older car. That being said, the handling of my case was poor. The shop had my car for over a month. They couldn't find the needed part from their vendors. For 2-3 weeks, I heard nothing. No calls. No communication. Then, they called me to give up on trying, apologetic, but also wanting me to tow away the car myself or have it off their lot in 3-4 business days. Like I said, I hadn't heard from them. The tech also told me I shouldn't try to donate my car, but he "knew a guy" who might give me a few hundred bucks for my vehicle. I did not do that. I gave my car to TROSA who does excellent work in the local community. TROSA is not only going to fix the car, but it will be giving it to a graduate of their program for transportation to their new job. And the Chapel Hill Tire people told me not too.... On top of this, I can't shake the feeling I was already taken advantage of by another location's ignorance who did a $1200 alternator replacement without ever running a electric diagnostic test. These aren't bad people. They do fine work on easy, straightforward jobs. Safe to say, I won't be using Chapel Hill Tire with my new car, if I can help it.

Wonderful experience!!! My first visit to this Chapel Hill Tire location. They actually 'worked' my car in so that it could be serviced before my trip. I loved the chauffer service. All the people were so friendly and helpful. They will definitely be my go to for car service!!!

I brought in my 2013 Volkswagen Jetta SE (206k miles) for a noise when turning, and asked them to check the belt. I ended up being charged $4,807 total. I was told $4600 estimate. Online tools tell me that I was probably charged roughly $1,200–$1,800 above typical independent shop rates... The total appears significantly higher than market: Lower control arms: Charged $1,620 (typical range ~$900–$1,300) Motor mounts: Charged $1,188 (typical range ~$600–$900) Power steering line/reservoir/hoses: Charged $1,831 (typical range ~$800–$1,200) Alignment was fairly priced. Labor charges were particularly high, and related work (power steering components) appeared to have separate labor charges that likely overlapped. Parts were also priced at the high end of the market. And there were delays in getting my car back. I would recommend that customers request detailed explanations of labor overlap and get a second opinion before approving major repairs. I used to like them, but I dont think I will ever return to this store
