I’ve always come here to the shop whenever my car needs work Very friendly people they are willing to work with you. Anytime I go to the shop I always feel welcomed, I think a-lot of shops should take notes from them.

Purchased a vehicle from their dealership, found them amicable and helpful. Left feeling great, as I was able to get a great price and they were very friendly. 4 months later my car stops accelerating on the highway. Hundreds of dollars and multiple mechanic visits later reveals that my transmission is completely shot. Replacement of a new transmission being thousands of dollars more than what I spent on the car. I’m told by three different mechanics that the transmission fluid is bad and the transmission has a terminal condition and unless replaced the problem will persist. The car I bought supposedly had a clean bill of health and had just had its fluid flushed. It makes me wonder how 1500 miles later it’s a goner. The suspicion of the mechanics who ran diagnostic on my car, is that the service team at Charlie Car Care had performed a temporary fix on a transmission they knew was shot, and had replaced the solenoids and transmission fluid to give some artificial life to the car knowing full well it was only a matter of time before the vehicle died. Either through incompetence or ill intent they sold me a ticking time bomb. An attempt to rectify the situation privately with the dealership was rejected, and I was told that I had already passed the 15 days and they were under no obligation to help me. I’d like to think this experience was a one off, some sort of long series of mistakes and accidents and whatever but I seriously doubt it. Try somewhere else.

I took my Chevy here for an oil change and was helped by an older gentleman and I assume his wife I paid $130 for a full synthetic oil change and while I felt it was expensive the over all experience was good so I came back a few months later when it was time for another oil change. This second time around the older couple were not there and I was helped by a different guy. He tried upselling me on a bunch of repairs he claimed where ABSOLUTELY necessary or my Chevy was going to basically fall apart, I’m now stressed at the big repair bill he claims I need. I asked for a second opinion and I’m told the Chevy is perfectly fine and there’s nothing to worry about. It’s clear the guy working at Charlie’s only wanted to make sales/commission. The funny thing is that I came to find out biggers Chevy just up the street has a sale on oil changes regular for around $65 and full synthetic for $90 remember I paid $130 at Charlie’s so they ended up doing me a favor

Charlie’s Car Care is one of the best small, family-owned shops around. Every time I come in, they get me taken care of quickly and always go the extra mile to do the job right. The team is friendly, efficient, and genuinely cares about their customers. I’ve been coming here for any vehicle issues because I know I can trust them to get me in and out fast.
