Last week my check engine light came on. Took it to the dealer. Did a diagnostic on my car which cost me 157 They said it's going to be 1,700 to fix. Drive my car to Scott and was only 70 dollars. I'm not taken my car to the dealer for anything..not even an oil change..that lost my trust

After a year looking at various Mechanics to check engine light on a 1995 Ford F150XLT 2wdrv pickup truck. The hookup port is under engine hood. Scott heard my dilema and had the equipment to adapt and analysis for a throttle sensor code. Ordered the part for repair. Good Job Scott

Scott was amazing that guy is a real mechanic he’s not out here trying to cheat people he’s a stand up dude and I’m telling all working people take your car to this guy first. I was on my way to Rockford and my car broke down in Elgin I found his shop by mistake. He was amazing. He totally fixed my car and all the issues my car had. He restored my faith in humanity completely I’m so lucky to stumble upon his shop and I thank him and all the guys that work for him.

I have been taking by vehicles here for the past 5 years, and Scott has the best prices for labor and parts and does a great job. He has a good understanding of how vehicles work and is quickly able to determine what the source of the problem is. A very honest owner and mechanic. 01/10/26 Stopped by Scott’s because I have not been able to reach him for the past week. Just stopped by and he is no longer at this location. There is a new business here with a new owner. I asked the gentleman where was Scott and he said he is no longer here but could not tell me where he went or whether he retired. Does anyone have any information on Scott’s whereabouts or if he has retired? Please post something on here. He is an excellent mechanic.
