Look elsewhere for timely care for your child. 8 - 12 month wait for an appointment for a place that says they provide walk in mental health care. Ridiculous.

Don’t take your kids to children’s in Kenosha ! I am furious we took her to children’s urgent care yesterday because she broke out in hives from an allergic reaction they prescribed 2.5ml daily of Zyrtec for as long as she has the hives. Her actual dr just called and me to stop giving it to her bc they would NEVER EVER prescribe Zyrtec to a 5 month old let alone give her a dosage big enough for a 2 year old. First they sent her home with a double ear infection a couple weeks ago and said her ears were “perfect” and she “only had a small cold from the weather” she ended up getting worse and we took her to the ER and they told us they must have messed up . now they sent her home with a medication for a 2 year old. THIS IS REDICULOUS!😔 luckily my instincts told me that was not correct and I DID NOT give her what they told me to give her . If you know me you know I HATE giving her any medication unless it’s absolutely necessary. I even double checked at the Walgreens pharmacy on 4 mile and they confirmed it was the correct dosage/medication. And I TRIPLE checked with a triage nurse at ascension and they told me “they would never give her a medication she can’t have or the wrong dosage” how can they make a mistake like that with a 5 MONTH OLD and then it wasn’t even just one person it was MULTIPLE people and MULTIPLE places . I am beyond angry this is absolutely unacceptable 😣

Easy to schedule and same day appointments. Online visit responses are timely. All labs and tests in the same location. Much better than driving here and there and around town. I never wait for more than five to ten mins. Very clean facility. All nurses and drs have been helpful and kind. Dr. Leah Farley went above and beyond for my daughter. Surgery was going to be scheduled for at least 8 months out —but my 6 year old was sick all of the time and not sleeping and not eating. Dr. Farley Doctor pushed and would not take no for an answer. Surgery was done with in the next few weeks. Thank you children’s! We drive the 45 min commute and it’s worth it!

We love the doctors and the care our boys have received at this office. They always respond quickly and genuinely care about our kids. More than once I’ve written in with a question and gotten a personal call back from my son’s pediatrician. The urgent care is a huge bonus and gives me peace of mind that I can get my children in to see someone quickly if their primary doctor is not available. Specialists are also available on the second floor and we were able to get in quickly when needed. I recommend this office to everyone I know.
