Brent has been very helpful to us. He is honest when it comes to fixing our vehicles. I would say give him a try. If he can't fix it he will let you know. He will guide you in the right direction. Once after he fixed my van and the side mirror was broken and when I called him and talked to him about he was ready to replace it for free because he thought it happened at his shop and I said it happened after. He told if I bought on he would charge me $25 to put it on.

I have been searching for someone to help me fix tie rods that I was told were bad at my oil change, and Brent is the only person who responded and said bring my car to let him look first. He called me a couple hours later and told me the issue wasn’t tie rods and something completely different. He saved me about $700 and didn’t have to. This guy was pleasant, reliable, and isn’t out to take your money…and honest place. I am very glad I listened to my friend and took my car to Brent. Brent is an very professional, trustworthy and reliable mechanic. I drive all the way from Milwaukee (even in the winter with snow on the ground) to only have him do repairs on my Lincoln MKS. As a woman it is so important to make sure you are not being ripped off by car shops, with Ekman Automotive I have received nothing but good, honest, reasonable quality A+ plus work and service with a mechanic who displays a great personality and professionalism. My car has had many issues and my husband works on cars for fun in his free time. My husband couldn’t figure out why my car was loud when accelerating. I took it to Ekman Automotive and they diagnosed my car within the same day, got the part the following morning and got my car back that day! They also worked with my extended warranty company which I am super grateful for! For sure will be continuing to come here in the future!

Brent is amazing. Our minivans breaks were making an awful noise and Brent didn't have an available opening for a week. He was concerned that would cause more damage so he took the van and fixed the breaks the very next day. His prices are very reasonable and he is the most honest mechanic I have ever used. I strongly recommend him to all of my friends and family.

I got some work done to my Jeep Patriot her about a year or so ago and completely forgot to leave a review. He was the nicest mechanic I had ever met, didn't make me feel like because I am a woman that I won't understand. No one else I trust to fix my cars, because Brent is honest and does great work. I’d used Brent for years but recently took my car elsewhere because it was closer. Got a huge estimate and I wasn’t sure it was worth to fix the car. Brent looked through the estimate, inspected my car, and found repairs and services the other place wanted to charge me for that I didn’t need. He also found the issue I had originally taken the car to the first shop for - an issue they never even looked at! And he did all the work for less than the other shop too. I enthusiastically recommend Ekman Automotive!
