Just ask Mac. He takes his time to ask questions about your vehicle that you may not have even thought of. When you leave you will know that you have the absolute correct part for want you need. Forget about Advance or O'Reilly.

This is a great auto shop they have great customer service and extremely knowledgeable probably the best in Racine. If they don't have parts in stock they can always order them for you. They turn they have specials going on and they also have a great selection of tools.

I had a issue with a dead battery under warranty and the clerk Dino gave me a real hard time saying I did not buy the battery there. Plus he said it was dirty, Well I don’t store my batteries in my living room. Tony, the owner was very helpful and exchanged the Battery which was under warranty. Tony took the battery I brought in and wanted to charge it after checking it with his meter which showed 0 volts. I said well it showed 6 V on my meter I will go get my meter in my jeep and show you and he went into another room so when I came back with my meter and walked into the room looking for him, you know the clerk Dino, screamed at me like he was talking to a little child and asked me what am I doing you can’t walk around in here like you’re in Walmart you can’t go back there where do you think you are an on and on and on, totally, totally rude so I went to Tony’s desk and showed him my meter and we both walked back and checked my battery with my meter and it showed 6 V so he gave me the new battery and I was ready to leave but I wanted once more to talk to Dino and see if his thoughts have changed about the reason he did not want to warrantee my battery because he said they did not sell that Name but I called their supplier and They said, yes sometimes we send that battery, a Ameristsart in place of The Northern they usually send. He was not aware of that and said that I did not get the battery there so I left and went back to my home which was in another town but I patronize this business because I have done it for 40 years. But my point is, Dino needs some education in customer service, And not be screaming at customers like they are a little child and there was no signs anywhere saying not to go through this door opening. Satisfied now, thanks again, Tony. D.

Max is the Best guy in town. I feel as if I were born in the wrong generation. They dont make things the way they used to. I prefer the older places with dust on the shelf and older products hanging (that probably wont sell). its a charm that you don’t get from most places. Cyl heads and transmissions on display, its a shame more people don’t appreciate and spend their money there and places like it. Thanks Max!

I can't say enough about Max Gordon and the quality service he offers his customers at Gordon's Auto Parts. While his prices are competitive, his knowledge and advice are indeed priceless. From the advice he gave me on the installation of a rebuilt engine I purchased 15 years ago, to locating hard to find parts and solutions for my old '95 Kodiak C70 this fall, Max is my first and last stop in auto parts and advice. Thanks Max!

Local family owned store for over an 100 years! Unfortunately, they were closed for "deep" cleaning. But from previous visits, they are knowledgeable, helpful, and willing to teach you anything about cars. If they don't know, they will find the answer or point you in the towards right place. A really friendly hometown place. They received only 4 stars because they were closed for they day.
