We used this garage years ago when it was still Tommy's. Called ahead, explained we needed brakes and a tune up. Receptionist stated it would be best to leave the car all day as the work would take a few hours. Dropped the vehicle off the night before our appt just to be safe. Received a call at 930am the day of our appt stating we didn't need a tune up and questioning why we thought it needed brakes. Explained the pedal needed to be pushed down hard to stop. I called the shop at 3pm and received a laundry list of things that needed to be completed including wipers, air filter, and an oil change on top of full brakes in the back. Ok, not crazy about the list of unnecessary items but sure, let's do it. The kicker: won't be done until TOMORROW. Maybe it's just me but I find it pretty ridiculous that they had the car ALL DAY, did nothing until 3pm then tell me it won't be ready because it takes a few hours of labor. DUH! That's why you had it all day. On top of all of this, they were rude when we picked it up. STAY AWAY!

I've had a long history with Chris's but my most recent incident proved to be the most disappointing. I brought one of my family vehicles to the shop to get some work done and they did a whole bunch of work one of the reasons the car was at the shop was for an oil leak. I had asked Chris the owner to really look this car over good because I'm putting my baby in the car. The car needed an oil pan and gasket so they did the work and charged for it and the bill was fair, but from the minute the car left the parking lot the car was still leaking oil so I ended up bringing the car back but realistically it had been misdiagnosed so the car really needs a headgasket. They hand me an estimate for a few thousand dollars. Why would you miss something so major the first time around? I've taken my business else where.

I just got a job close by and decided to give them a try out of convenience. They were fast, fair and exceeded my expectations. I have a new go-to. Thank you UPDATE: I've been back with another car and two motorcycles. They do the best work and most honest shop I've run across. Sad, but that seems to be a rare find in today's world. When I called to get my park break looked at the receptionist was very rude.She hung up on me the first time . So I called back thinking we had a misunderstanding. When we talked the second time she was going to schedule me an appointment but when I tried to explain what was going on she cut me off and told me it would take two hrs to do my breaks , I told her I did not need breaks I just needed my park break looked at because the light was flashing on my dash bored , she told me that I needed to take my car back to who I’ve been taking it too , I told her I did but they referred me to you because they don’t have the technology , she then told me they are not accepting new clients and hung up… very rude! No customer service skills at all.

these guys always take great care of my car- they go the extra mile everytime i bring it in, and if they notice something else up, they call before doing anything further. Chris even called me last oil change to let me know my air filter could use changing, but he could clean it out good for me for now, at no extra charge. My definite go to!!! Quick, fair prices, and great service. what more could you ask for?

My car stopped accelerating after I got off i90 and found this place. Keith worked on my car and was so nice and friendly. The front desk woman was also so nice and helpful. It was a tough day but they made it better. Turns out I just needed new spark plugs. My dad is a retired mechanic and said their prices were very fair.

They were very accommodating. I just moved to the area and Chris's was recommended by a friend. I called on last Thursday and scheduled two vehicles for inspection. One of which was my 1972 Cutlass. The person I talked with (sorry I forgot her name) was very understanding. She scheduled my truck for Tuesday and my car for Thursday. She even said without me asking that the Thursday appointment would be dependent upon the weather. It turned out fine. They got my vehicles in and out quickly. Great experience. I would recommend them.

Chris's Auto is where you want to take your vehicle for repair. They are organized, experienced and straight up front with what you need. I've had a few visits where they went out of their way to repair my older vehicle and saved me money. I feel they are very trustworthy and communicate very effectively on what you need, or may need in the future. Can't say enough good things about this place!

Absolutely great experience here! From the time I called & told them what was going on with my truck to the time I picked it up. They were great communicating with me while they were trouble shooting the symptoms. Once diagnosed they called me to tell me what they found & how much it would be to repair it.
