They make me wait a hour for smog and they didn’t do nothing, they don’t have a lot cars to make me wait that long they just are unprofessional’s they didn’t even tell you nothing about your car they just don’t care, this is the worst smog shop I ever been, and I been in a lot, if you have to do your smog don’t go to that place,

Told me to show up at 8, but they didn’t show up until 820. When they showed up they completely ignored me while they moved cars around and things, not even an Hola or Buenas like I was invisible. Most shops are super busy but not this one and now I know why. Can’t trust these guys to work on my car after this

DO NOT COME TO THIS SHOP!! They will steal your money! David was very unprofessional since the beginning i got to the shop was not welcoming. He overcharged me $140 just to say he inspects my car and found out my rear sensors were not working. This place is a fraud and a scam. Beware od david after i left he laughed because he got away with his scam!!! Report this business!

BE CAREFUL WITH THESE GUYS, SCAM. I took a salvage car for DMV brake and lights inspection. First time I went in, they told me to fix the sensors on the dashboard. I came back for a second time, sensors on dashboard were fine, no lights on this time. AND still did not give the certificate arguing the car needed to be taken to a body shop so they can give the certificate. They charged me $150 and on top of that, they also wanted to charge me and extra $60 stating front lights needed an adjustment, when the hit was on the back. NO scratches on the front whatsoever. Long story short I went to another place, they gave the certificate, went to the DMV passed inspection and got the license plates. As one of the comments below, PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. STEAL, FRAUD AND SCAM. Hit me up if you need a place for smog and brake &lights inspection.

They did a brake and light Inspection for my newly salvage motorcycle per DMV requirement. They were fast and they were great. Easiest transaction ever. The Bureau of Automotive Repair gave me a list of qualified shops and none of them would do it. Come here you won't regret it.

I took my car to Chula Vista Auto Care on Broadway needing my power window fixed because it wouldn't go up and down. I was quoted $360 dollars for the repair. I paid the money. The mechanic destroyed my window tint in the process by scraping it with tools or during installation of the power control actuator. Now my window won't go all the way up, and the power door lock doesn't work at all either. The shop manager just seems to pull quotes out of the air. He did offer me a free oil change for the damage that his mechanic caused to my window, but when the oil change was completed, he wanted $59 for installation of an oil pressure sensor that I provided and asked for it to be installed which took only about 5 minutes, because it's just a plug-in part. I objected to his ask for $59 dollars for the installation of the oil pressure sensor and he said nevermind. Beware of this shop manager. He seems real shady to me with quotes for labor made up out of the air and not a shop labor book. Besides his mechanic caused damage to my window tint and now it won't go all the way up and the power door lock doesn't work at all.

I traveled from Lakeside to Chula Vista based on a friend's recommendation and was impressed with Israel's honesty and thorough work. Initially I went there for a simple cosmetic fix, replacing my headlights. Later I decided to take care of some minor mechanical issue that I already had. Israel was incredibly thorough, and rather than replacing the entire part, he identified that a tiny piece was the issue. He replaced it without charging for the unnecessary part he had already ordered for me showcasing remarkable integrity. Any other mechanic would have fixed the small problem and still charge for the part they ordered. I will happily drive the 25 miles it takes to get to the shop to have Israel work on my car.

Horrible customer service. I believe Israel was the one who helped me. Not welcoming at all super rude, the whole crew. They acted like it was the only shop in town. I wanted to get a brake and light inspection and it is very hard to get one since not everyone has the permit. Therefore, they can act a bit more disrespectful since not many places offer this service. Thankfully, I found a spot called Vinnys Brakes and lights off of higland right next to Tacos G. Excepcional, customer service and super welcoming guy! I wouldn’t waste my time at chula vista auto care!
