Down an alley might throw you off. Though, nothing but a good experience. Drop off the car, the boss calls you confirming the work load, pick up. Done. Polite and professional.... I didnt notice I dropped my key and went back while trying to drive away to make sure he gave it to me. He didnt get deffensive or place blame. He double checked his workstation and with a quick look around we found it where i had been standing. He carried himself as would someone when taking personal ownership of making sure a job gets done right. Certainly deserves all the reviews I went to him for.

I found this shop recently when I was in need of an emergency brake cable replacement on my 2002 Toyota echo. I talked to the owner over the phone for a quote and got my car in for the work a day later. He did a great job at a fair price. Since then he has changed the oil on both of my other cars. Monell was awesome! I needed to get all 4 brakes resurfaced and he helped me get in quickly! He was honest, kind, and called me throughout the process. He was able to do the repairs for less than half the cost of what was quoted by others in the area. He rotated my tires for free, and was willing to do things that other shops wouldn’t normally do. It’s clear he is very knowledgeable in his trade. I highly recommend him, and will use him in the future if I need other work done.

If you're not going to Monell, you're going to the wrong place. He gets you what you need, and doesn't try to sell you on fluff. he is very responsive, mindful, and goes above and beyond making sure your fluids are topped off before you leave. I wish I found him years ago. Honest work at a more than fair price. Definitely going to him from now on for brakes, and he's my first call for any other issues.

Monell is the epitome of a mechanic with great integrity and character. My mom was dealing with an issue with her car and had it seen by multiple auto shops over the last year. Even though Monell thought it was fixed, the car wouldn't start shortly after she got it back. He towed the car, dropped my mom off at home, and told her that he would call her once he found the real problem and it was fixed. He finished it just on time before she needed to drive it to a funeral. He found the problem, fixed it, and made sure she drove it home and had no issues with starting it before he charged her, to ensure that this problem was actually solved. She only found him because my husband and I took our car to him to have our brakes fixed and he finished them on the same day for half of the price than the quote we received at a local gas station. Thank you, Monell, for wonderful service, always having a great attitude, and keeping our cars in good working order!
