I wanted to come on here and give a shout out to the maintenance department. I’ve worked with Enrique and he’s been extremely helpful. I had a 6 month inspection and they knocked it out super fast. Great communication, even sending me videos of my truck and what they changed. Super professional. Thank you Enrique for always making sure I’m taken care of and getting my car in and out quickly. They even threw in a quick car wash last time I was there! Excellent customer service.

Normally I do not write reviews, but considering the horrible customer service I received today, I have to. I had an appointment at 8:30am, I got there at 8:20 and after 25 minutes waiting, I asked the person who receives the cars (Esteban) why he was taking cars that were coming in way after me. He immediately got very defensive, rude and unpolite, even more he refused to take my car. I asked to speak to a manager, waited another 25 min and nobody showed up. At that point I was very late for work and I had to leave. I've been a loyal Toyota customer for more than 35 years, but the level of service at this location is just terrible.

The only reason this is rated 1 star and not zero (of course, you can't rate zero but can state in the comments why) is because of the great service of our sales rep Roque. The rest of this crappy dealership and I feel Toyota overall is a big ZERO. First off, they would not give an early President's Day deal and claimed what I was quoted earlier in the month was the deal. BS. These clowns refuse to give military discounts (even though they claim too) unless you finance through the higher APR of Toyota. Worthless manager stated "It is the same price regardless", AKA Toyota does not appreciate what the military does or they would still give the military discount even if you have a better % rate at NFCU. Even then, you have to jump through hoops for any type of military discount. When I purchased my Nissan years ago, the Nissan dealer only needed to see my Military ID to get the discount and it was more than the "supposed $500 through Toyota". I told them I did not want extras, yet the dealership continued to badger us and keep trying to push it and wasted more of our precious time. They claimed they could only give $2000 for my trade-in. I told them, I did not really need the full amount as we were wanting am exact payment since splitting it two ways. BIG MISTAKE THERE. Not only that, but financing tried to surreptitiously slide in a different amount instead of the agreed upon price. If not for reading it, we would have paid more. I did not like the 3 hour wait for Nissan fixing recalls even if being first morning appointment and though Toyota would be better. OMG!!!!! I was so wrong. Do not come to these thieves if you still decide to buy a Toyota. Especially di not go to Toyota if you are military as they do not care. If all these reviews you see for this crappy dealership does not change your mind to buy a better car and have a far better experience, and you still feel like getting a Toyota, go to a different dealership. It is better to get a different car brand, but, if you still want to dive into a cistern and buy a Toyota, go to Carlsbad or Nationall City instead.

Been going here for years. Got a coupon in the mail for an oil change. Got an oil change and my tires rotated and was a seamless and smooth experience. Mario was very helpful and nice. They didn’t try to upsell anything and took into considerations of my concerns with my vehicle when inspecting it. Assured me it wasn’t in need any repairs or replacement.

The repair took longer than originally communicated. Not only that but I was not offered a rental even though they had to keep my car overnight. Only once I asked what my options were the rep told me they could provide a rental. Why not offer that from the beginning and make the client feel at ease. They did not wash my car as they do when servicing the car. Not sure why. Also, I noticed a scratch on my car and still trying to figure out what happened. Overall not the best experience.

Fernando and Francisco helped us out and and they were great. The dealership buying experience itself is tough and takes forever. It took a few hours once we agreed to a price before we signed all the paperwork. Also they have only porta potties at the moment and they were all dirty. Got a good deal on the car though so whatever.

I won’t be back to this Toyota. I typically go to Norm Reeves Toyota. Coming here, I called ahead and they quoted me $80 for an oil change. I looked online and called back and said, “ online says oil changes are $70”. He said, “oh yeah you have to mention the ‘coupon’ “ (it’s not a coupon, it literally has that price as an oil change). Okay cool. I made an appointment for 12:30 I get to the appointment and was helped my Vanessa. She quoted me $140 for an oil change. I don’t know what changed that jumped from $80-$140… I “mentioned the coupon” and she lowered it to $70. Then she told me my Toyota Highlander takes one extra quart of oil and would make the oil change $80. (I’ve been getting my car serviced at different Toyotas for 3 years and no one has ever said this to me) fine. Then she proceeds to try to upsell me on all kinds of things, making my potential total $955 😂😂 ain’t no way. I declined and jus asked for the oil change. Lol understand that this is part of her job, but, BFFR. She said my car would be done at the latest, 3:30. I never received a call or text. I called at 3:45 to see what the update was. They said she would likely call me after she was done with the customer. They got a text at 4:00 finally saying that my car was done. I’m convinced that they only sent it because I called. Overall, it felt super scammy and used car salesman vibes. I wasn’t into it. I won’t be back.

I loved my experience at this location, Daniel is exceptional in his role. I made an afternoon appointment but they were able to see me in the morning. There were folks in line who were waiting a while and I overheard their stress. People should know that if there’s a lot of appointments, it’s because people trust this location and want to go here. People should block off enough time for the car maintenance appointment, this is not a drive through that takes 30 minutes. While servicing my car, I saw many service advisors working non stop with all their clients. Just know when it’s your turn, it won’t be rushed and you’ll be taken care of. I’m not too knowledgeable on car maintenance, when I explained what I was looking for he knew which service options to show me. Although they were packed with appointments, Daniel took his time to explain the differences so I was able to make an informed decision. I also needed my windshield repaired and he connected me with an amazing shop near by. They were able to save my windshield! My car ran smoothly for my long distance road trip. Overall, amazing experience because my service advisor, Daniel, made sure I was taken care of. I will be back!

Easily made an appointment over the phone. The scheduler was kind. They easily honored the coupons I got in the mail. The Assistant Service Manager Mario is the best. He was easy to work with and respectful. He was honest and knowledgeable. Did not try to upsell me anything. He mentioned alignment because I had just gotten new tires the day before. Glad I agreed to it because my steering wheel moves like butter now. Mario was always mindful of my time but I was in no rush that day. My car felt like brand new afterwards. Miriam the service rep was great. Honest and up front on what needs to be done with my vehicle. She is a 5 star so make sure you get an appt with her. What makes this review a 4 star is the wait. Waited over 3 hrs just for an oil change and that’s with an appt. Dealership you need to fix that and people in the waiting area seems to say the same thing.

My car needed a passenger side mirror. The appointment was for 9:30 am. And was told it will take about an hour and a half. So by 11:45am I appeared to be parked in the customer pick up area. I went and asked what is going on. My service advisor said he’s just wrapping it up. By 12 noon nothing yet no call no text nothing. And looking closer, yes it was my car sitting there. It’s interesting that the paperwork shows 12pm as “promised” that’s BS. This dealer is just off the freeway,..- why mention that? Well, as I was getting ready to finally leave after over paying, I had noticed that the engine hood was still open. the hood was lowered down, not locked. but I’m glad I did not get on the freeway. The service was ok the mirror doesn’t quite fit like the original but in any case,- the overall time and then leaving my engine hood unlatched,, it all could have been a better experience.

Check in process even with a appointment took a long time. People walking back and forth not really doing anything. Cars coming in after me we're checked in first. Pushy with upgraded service plans. Ridiculous service time for recall. Sending me videos of other vehicles with dirty air and cabin filters during inspection, trying to squeeze me for additional money for service. This is not what I bought a Toyota for and this isnt the level of service I expect. Could this be a result of the sign of the times? I am seriously considering taking my business to National City. I always chose Chula Vista due to the service, but every time I visit I feel like that level of service has disappeared. A very unsatisfied customer.
