I dropped my car off in the beginning of April after an accident. My insurance recommended this shop. It is now almost June and I still don’t have my car back. I am told a different pick up date every time I call. For the first month they had absolutely no idea. Then I was told some time at the end of May. Last week they told me Friday. I called Friday morning to confirm my pick up time and they told me Tuesday or Wednesday. This morning I had my insurance call and now they’re saying Thursday. I understand that they are waiting on parts, but I wish they would give me an honest answer or at least try to keep me updated. I am so tired of rearranging my work schedule because the listed pick up time is during my workday, only to be told the morning of that it isn’t ready. I had an inspection appointment set up this week that I have had to reschedule twice now because City Collision keeps changing my pick up date. I’ve just canceled it altogether now because I don’t want to waste the inspector’s time. I am about to reach my insurance max on my rental and I don’t know what to do. Working with City Collision has been incredibly frustrating. I would not recommend this place and I will never come back here.

The worst, the most condescending receptionist I've ever had to deal with. She just delays my estimate date time and time again and talks down to me with an attitude. This is my first time getting a car accident and she just rushed me through a conversation and hung up on my face. I wish I had known about this before coming to this place. Not recommend.

The guys at city collision 2 were so helpful and professional. They made the process very smooth. My vehicle was done almost 10 days before The estimated completion date. On top of that, the repairs were great! Can’t even tell that my car was ever hit. I also appreciate the complementary detail when I picked up my car, it looked as new as the day I bought it. I would definitely recommend repairs being done here

I recently got a new Mercedes so when I was looking for bumper and fender work, I was very meticulous in my search. I came across City Collisions though online reviews and word of mouth and I can honestly say I could not have asked for a better team. Everyone was very professional, kind and diligent. They took the time to explain everything they were doing and gave me options to my liking as well. They completed the job in the estimated time they provided and even provided me a complimentary detail for the vehicle. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a trustworthy body shop!

I would not use City Collision again. Every detail they touched was done incorrectly and my vehicle had extra damage when returned. The front of the house was very polite, and easy to talk with. I brought my 2024 Genesis GV70 for a side swipe and mirror replacement. The estimate was very reasonable. Repair time seemed to lag, perhaps due to parts, but not terrible. Upon receiving my vehicle, it was clear the work was not up to par. On the exterior, the new paint has dull spots as well as nibs everywhere. The orange peel is painfully obvious. New dents were present from removing a rear window. That same rear window was bent and improperly re-installed. My front driver window had gashes in it. The side mirror was incompletely painted, with an obvious white ring where you could see the primer. The rear wheel well cover was missing fasteners. The rest of the car had swirl marks as if it's been taken through a car wash, the car's ceramic coating will have to be redone. Lastly - the thing that really got me because it seemed impossible to mess up - I was given a new rear rim which looked WORSE than the rim they replaced. It didn't even match in color. On the interior, there was now a clear whistling noise in the vehicle. A panel in the trunk was broken where they had to access the battery that they drained. One panel was incompletely attached and hanging loose. The inside was not detailed on return. An alignment was performed on my vehicle. The steering wheel was at a consistent 5 degrees offset to drive straight, and the car would walk left/right. The alignment had to be redone. City Collision fixed some of these - front window was replaced, whistling was fixed, paintless dent repair was done, and the panel in the trunk was replaced. However additional damage appeared - the chrome trim on my driver side front window was no longer aligned with the rear window. I decided to cut my losses given I could no longer trust the shop to do the work. All of the additional repair was charged to my insurance company even though City Collision was responsible for it. A quite hefty sum was charged to the insurance, which is unfortunate given the result. Edit: I continue finding additional damage. My headliner clips are all broken in the rear. I'm kicking myself for trusting these people. Also the blatant lieing in the response has made me reduce my rating to 1. Every concern is indeed 100% related to the repair and complete lack of craftsmanship.

My car had some serious damage.. My entire driver side was side swiped by a hit and run! After having City Collision repair it, the baby looked better than new.. She was sparking when I picked her up. The attention to detail was so precise... I am super satisfied and would highly suggest them to anyone!

A client of mine is going on 3 months of not having the windshield replaced of what should've been done the first time around. Client has continued to try and schedule the appointment, no one responds or even answers the phone anymore. I've tried to intervene and have also been given the runaround multiple times. The insurance company has already paid for the work to be done, and they have failed to complete it.

I had a really great experience with City Collision. They did outstanding repair work on my car, some as part of a hit and run claim, as well as some other body work I requested. From intake to job complete, their friendly and helpful staff kept me updated all along the way. Highly recommend!

I cannot say enough good things about my experience at City Collision II. I brought my Jeep in for repair after a hailstorm, and Derek and his team were able to completely repair every single dent! Derek and Carl were extremely professional and worked with my insurance company to make sure the claim was handled properly. The best part of all, the repair work only took a few days to complete. If you want the best automotive damage repair in Pittsburgh, go to City Collision II!

I am SO impressed with the work done by the men at City Collision II. A woman hit my car earlier this month and the process to get my car fixed here was so quick and simple - It truly took the stress out of the situation. Not to mention, during a global pandemic - their attention to cleanliness, commitment to the service, and proper distance precautions show how much they care about the health of both the clients and the business. Walking away with a beautiful car after a stress-free process (especially during these stressful times). Will be back!

Couldn’t be happier was in an unfortunate accident with my primary work van. Took it to city collision they looked at right away ordered parts and scheduled me all in the same day. They worked with my insurance and took care of everything from start to finish. When van was completed they cleaned it and it looks better than it has in a long time. Thank you to Derek and the entire staff they are all amazing.

Had my car taken in for a mirror replacement. The place had my vehicle for almost a week, when it was supposed to be done within 2 days max. When I called on the original day it was due they said oh it won’t be done today, it will take another 4 days to finish it. When I called again the day before I was supposed to pick it up they said it would not be ready again until 2 more days and it is not painted. The total amount of time in the week they had my car they were actually working on it was 2 hours. I had to get my car back unpainted as I was ubering to school and places I needed to go. It wouldn’t be an issue if it was communicated in advance it would take over a week to finish this but the lack of communication and editing pickup times after I had to call to make sure it would be ready was unacceptable. There was no progress towards getting my car back until my insurance company had to call and talk to management about what was taking so long. I would not recommend this place if you need your vehicle back in a timely manner, even for small repairs which I was told mine was.

Are you planning to take your 2 month old car into a 3 ft deep bog? Probably not, but isn't it nice to know if you do, you've got someone who can restore that new car shine? The folks at City Collision II on Penn Ave did a great job. Even the engine bay is glistening.

There never ready on time they never call update you. I literally called them today to see if my car was done this day. They said it was gonna be done. They already moved it back two days and the lady said it’s gonna be next week or after Christmas. They have my car since November 21. Please stop taking your car to these unprofessional places please spend your money or someone could at least pick up the phone and tell you days in advance that they knew that your parts wasn’t in yet before wasting your time texting you that your car will be ready at a date and then wanna turn around and say we can’t guarantee a day then stop giving me an estimate time.

I’m very disappointed with my experience. I do not recommend being serviced here. My vehicle was kept for a month and I was told repairs were being worked on. I paid for the service, but the issue was not fixed. When I brought the car back, they told me additional damages that still are needed. I was told they could not complete the additional repairs l but told me they would fix any additional damage when I can a month ago. During this time, I relied on a rental covered by my insurance, but due to the long delay, that coverage has now been exhausted. I now have to take my vehicle elsewhere, which has caused added inconvenience and expense. I expected clearer communication and a completed repair before being over charged for labor.

I took my car for a damaged side view mirror case. I was originally told it would take 2 days. Admittedly, I thought this was a fast turnaround, but went with what the worker said. Last night I received a message that my car would not be ready for another week, and the cost estimate was $989.28. Mind you, this is JUST the case of the mirror. It is still fully functional, glass intact. I know that the case would have to be painted, buuuuutttttt..... When I spoke to another worker this morning, she told me that the time estimate had changed because they had to order the part, paint it, calibrate it, ensure fit, and something else. I told her it was the driver's side mirror case, the electric components were intact, I don't understand what has to be fit and calibrated. She asked if I wanted to speak with the estimator and told me one would call me back. A half hour later, I decided that this whole thing didn't feel right. I called her back to let her know I was cancelling the work and would be by to pick up my car on my lunch break. She apologized and told me the reason for the delay was that they had to find a new supplier as the case was out of stock with their usual supplier and they were working on finding a new supplier. She said they could probably have it done in just a few days. I reiterated that I was going to pick my car up at lunch. I then received a call that they found the part and could have my car done by tomorrow or Friday. I told her I was not interested. Then a man called me and told me they located the part, it was coming today, my car would be done tomorrow. I told him the whole thing is sketchy and gave a brief rundown of the experience. The guy asked if I wanted him to send the part to paint. I told him no, I was picking up my car. He asked if I was sure because he could send the part to be painted or should he cancel it, I firmly told him to cancel it. The man then spoke to me in the whiny indignant tone often used by my 6 year old when she's mad at her sister. He even managed a little condescendence in there. He told me that the estimate was originally given before they knew it was out of stock, the estimate changed because it wasn't in stock, and now they found it so they could do the work tomorrow. I told him it was sketchy that it's only when I complained that all of a sudden the part showed up--I didn't even bring up the absurd cost at any point. He began reiterating poorly, so I told him, "Quit justifying, apologize, and move on." He said, "I don't see what I need to--" I hung up. I got to the shop within 15 minutes, and said my name and that I was there for my car. The woman at the desk went back to an office (I assume the guy's) with a pink sticky note and after a few seconds, I heard him say "I already talked to her on the phone. Just give her the keys." There was a very nice gentleman who actually moved my car around the others so I could pull out easily. That guy deserves a raise. Tl;dr: tried to charge $989 for the case of my side mirror, changed estimated time from 2 days to 10 days to 2 more days to tomorrow, whatever manager or estimator works there is incapable of knowing when to take the L and stop trying to assert his correctness.
