Thought my car had transmission problems. Turns out my valve cover assembly was bad which damaged my MAP sensor and leaked oil into my throttle body. They had the new parts and my car fixed in a day. Thanks again guys.

Wonderful people. While I was there they worked for over a kitten out of the car steering wheel. Got the car out and would have not charged the couple a penny.Except the man insisted on doing that. Who does this nowadays, none I know of. Will recommend them to everyone.

Honest, the staff there will explain everything to you that is wrong with your car and only fix what is wrong with your car. My advice to you if you're taking your car there is allowed them to diagnose the problem. They have been in the car business for over 20 years and I have been going to them for over 30 years since they moved from their old location. If you have a classic Volkswagen they still know how to fix these things. Also check out their selection of used cars. Just like the sign says they service what they sell.

The guys at Paul's are great! Just relocated here with my vintage VW and they were super knowledgeable and so careful with my car (which I am a nutcase about and very cautious about mechanics for my car). Thanks to Chris, Scott and Bob very much!

I brought my Audi A4 into Paul's for a suspected bad catalytic converter based on the bad catalyst code and smoke out the tailpipe. I paid them a diagnostic fee and they looked at the turbo and took some o2 sensor readings and told me the Cat was bad. I put in a new catalytic converter and new oxygen sensors and the next day the check engine light came on for the same Cat code again and the car was blowing smoke again. I remember specifically telling them that I wanted to get to the source of the smoke. They could of at least asked me if they could have checked the pistons or valves to see If that was the cause. I wish i didn't waste the money on a catalytic converter and sensors based on their recommendations. Good customer service but not so good troubleshooting.

There is a car lot attached to this place. They are crooks. The car I purchase had been falsely inspection. There was not 1 drop of oil in the car. I was told it had a fresh oil changed. I has the car 100 miles broke down. Another 100 miles broke down. Now it's broke down again. Stay away from this place

Very pleased with their thoroughness and honesty. My check engine light was on. They ran diagnostics which said one thing, but they figured out it was a much bigger problem–something that would cost thousands to fix. They described the issue in detail and then, much to my surprise, told me it should be covered by an extended warranty on my car and sent me to the dealer. The dealer agreed with Paul's diagnosis and it was covered under the extended warranty. They literally saved me thousands of dollars! Highly recommend this repair shop!

Paul's Auto took very good care of my aging A4 2.4 a few months back. I had been in before, but this last visit left me appreciative of the care and interest they had shown in my auto. My only regret is not having taken my Quattro back to them sooner as another well known garage specializing in German auto left me high and dry with much headache. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Paul's garage to anyone with a German auto - one look at the beautiful classic Porsche in the showroom will set you at ease. Very reasonable price, quality workmanship, attention to detail (thank you for the bit of high octane petrol), and informed service with a friendly ease of service. I will only take my baby here! I don't doubt that their range of expertise is beyond German by the looks of their yard (Alphas... Rovers etc.) however. A big thumbs up! Thank you!

I had the pleasure of talking to Bob to get his opinion on a repair I was considering. He discussed many aspects of what options are available and suggested what possibly would be best in the long term versus quick fixes.

I brought my Mercedes E320 CDI from Somerset to get a significant oil leak repaired that my usual mechanic wouldn’t touch. Bob and his team were able to accurately determine the source of the problem and fix it right. Personal attention, fast service and less than dealer pricing make Paul’s Motor Car Service the place to bring your import vehicle for quality work in PA!

I started coming here after receiving a very questionable quote for work needed on my VW Tiguan at a local dealership. If you want honest, quality work- come here! Bob ( the owner) looks for ways to extend your cars life rather than having to replace. He is very knowledgeable and skilled. I have a VW that had an oil consumption problem and was needing to add 1 qt every 300 miles. Bob came up with a solution that likely saved my engine and my wallet. I’m happy to say- it’s at 2,000 miles and no oil added so far which exceeded expectations. I’m so thankful to have found this place. - Diane

I'm on my second Audi Q5, and when their mileage gets high, they seem to go through oil like crazy. The team at Paul's researched an experimental solution and asked if they could try it on my car. It worked!!! I went from needing to add oil with almost every tank of gas to not needing to supplement the oil at all. I'm so grateful. Also, the car is performing much better overall with smoother acceleration and improved responsiveness.

Honest business with very fair prices. I drove my 2003 BMW 330xi from Atlanta up to Pittsburgh to visit my family and I got a check engine light! Take an old BMW with an engine light to any mechanic and you’ll get quoted 4 figures. I spoke with Scott who properly smoke tested the car and diagnosed that I needed an intake boot. He was also able to help me find new tires for my journey back to Atlanta safe and sound. Trust this place with your used German vehicle - they will fix it right the first time, and your wallet will thank you :)

I inherited a Volvo SUV from a family member, and another mechanic in the area tried to take advantage of my husband and I with a brake issue we were experiencing. So glad we found this place! Not only is Bob a genuinely kind and clearly experienced mechanic, but the shop simply fixed the problem, didn't try to sell us repairs we didn't need and pricing was very reasonable. My SUV handles like new again, and it's a relief to find a trustworthy mechanic.

Bob is a nice guy, straight forward. I was quoted to repair a part he said did not need repair. Great turn around. Thanks Bob!

Took my 09 Volkswagen Jetta here for a diagnostic on a clutch pressure issue. I got told that my clutch was bad and he quoted me over 3,000$ because they had to be “Volkswagen Parts” I took some time to look at the car myself and found out it was simply low on clutch fluid. I do not reccomend.

Paul's Motor Car Service did a fantastic job on my 2003 VW PASSAT. When no one else could figure out the issues. Bob was on it and had the issues resolved in a few days. Now the car runs like new. Paul's motor car service is our go to if we have any issues with our VW'S. THANK YOU SO MUCH! Michael Olsen Stephen Corey
