I had a great experience at Jiffy Lube #416 on Baum Blvd. I headed there late on a Wednesday evening as, my car had suddenly began to smell like burning plastic when the heat was running. I was very concerned and headed straight there as soon as I was able to. With it being only about an hour until close I was worried I wouldn't be seen or met with positivity. However, the manager, Mike, welcomed me with a smile. He listened to me when I shared my concerns and let me know that I could count on him to get me back on the road! He walked me to the waiting room, and came back to show me the culprit which was severely low oil (I'm usually consistent with my oil changes but it got away from me this time). He and his teammates went through the service checklist and educated and showed me the reason for my issues such as a debris filled cabin filter. Camille, who was at the front desk, was so kind and friendly and helped me pass the time. Mike also provided some great discounts/promotions which made a huge difference in the overall cost. All of this to say, I was well taken care of and I will certainly be back. Thank you to the Jiffy Lube team that was working that night - Camille, Mike, and John - for getting me in and out quickly and with peace of mind and also for your kindness and exemplary customer service! It was truly appreciated on a day where that positivity and kindness was sorely needed and appreciated. Thank you! :)

Was scared to come here since I'm a young woman that came alone with her car, I'm always nervous to be taken advantage of. But this place was super efficient and it wasn't expensive at all to get everything that I needed done. They guided me to some coupons. The woman at the front desk was so nice and funny. I was hesitant because there are so many mixed reviews but I will definitely be coming back in the future!

I was happy with my service. I showed up at 4:30 on Labor Day and they got me in and out in approximately 30 minutes. I thought both the employees were friendly and professional.

Been to this place twice. Both times for an oil change. I'm an aviation mechanic with nowhere to change oil myself so I pay other grown men to do it for me. Its painful. First time I pulled up, waited a couple of minutes, no one said anything to me. So I left it at bay door with keys in it. Half an hour goes by and they tell me I need to pull car in myself because no one there can drive stick. Theres 5 of them, and they are all older than me (I'm 35). Mechanics that cant drive stick, kind of a red flag but I already waited a bit so I pulled it onto the ramps for them. (Don't think I'm supposed to do this). Took another 45 minutes to change the oil. Staff wasnt too bad, but the whole interaction was kind of odd. I checked oil level, filter, and drain bolt afterwards just to be safe. Was all good. 2nd time coming back, maybe 8 months later (today). Again no one said anything to me. Walked into office, lady behind counter on her phone (same lady as last time), not saying anything. I walk up to her and had to say "hello" to get her off her phone, and all she said was "you need to talk to a technician". She then told me its manual and I'll need to pull it onto the ramps myself again. I was considering it, but the overall vibe here is just annoyed and rude so i just got in my car and went to the Jiffy Lube in Aspinwall instead. Not coming back to this location anymore. If I didnt have a coupon I would probably just avoid Jiffy all together. Y'all should at least have someone there that can drive manual. If not, TEACH THEM. Its a coorporation, it's okay to invest in employees. This place is also expensive, I have a 4 cyl and its over $115 for just an oil change.

I hated my experience with this Jiffy Lube. First, I came around 8:30am to get my oil change, and the man working there told me that he couldn’t do an oil change because no other workers were there to help him. He told me to come back around 9:30am and they should be there. I ended up coming back around 10am and the other workers still weren’t ready. My oil change was not done until about 11am. This is where the real issue starts. I get in my car to leave and immediately notice a thumping feeling and sound as I drive away. I pulled off the side of Baum Blvd. and notice a huge screw in my tire. I went back to the same Jiffy Lube and told them about it. The worker did not dispute that it happened while there, and he offered to patch the tire. I just bought new tires last month, so I really wanted a new tire, but I was willing to get the patch in the meantime. After about 30 min I went outside the waiting area to call my parents and I overheard the worker patching my tire say “I can’t patch this tire”. He eventually walks over to me and lets me know he can’t patch the tire because he did not have the tool required to patch it. He asked for me to drive my car to Pep Boys have them patch it and they’ll reimburse me. I let them know that I would rather them replace the tire. They were unwilling to replace the tire, so I ended up calling corporate. Currently, I’m waiting at Pep Boys waiting for them to patch my tire. I will never come to Jiffy Lube on Baum Blvd again. My tire was fine before I came to them, so they should have been willing to rectify to situation. They need to sweep their areas before they drive cars in for servicing. Also, had the workers showed up on time, maybe they could have made sure the work area was clear of debris before they started working on cars. If I could’ve given 0 stars I would have.

Yall were pushy with your add-on services. I didn't appreciate you not letting me review your diagnostic report and schedule a follow-up appointment. I also didn't appreciate the aggressive discounts that wouldn't be available unless I paid today--it all felt pretty scammy. Sorry about being unclear about my intention/decision, but don't get mad at customers for wanting to be diligent with their vehicles and money.

I went for an oil change for the first time this morning. It took 15 minutes. It's right next to my house. They are very kind and polite. They deserve 5 stars.

UPDATED 10/29 STILL WAITING FOR A COPY OF MY RECEIPT, i CALLED 10/20 AND WAS TOLD THEY WOULD SEND ME A COPY, HAVENT RECEIVED IT. ALSO REQUESTED IT FROM THE DISTRIC MANAGER WHO I WAS SUGGESTED TO CONTACT AND HAVE NOT GOTTEN A RESPONSE TO MY EMAIL SENT ON 10/20!! Total rip off, I paid 170 for an oil change and tire rotation on my daughters car! If I would have known it was that much I would have driven it the 3 hours home and had it done where I usually take my cars for $35.00 oil change and $20 tire rotation! Won't make that mistake again

Any prospective customer and vehicle owner might want to strongly weight the following. 1. Does this business location have an inspection license? Might want to find out why. 2. Look at all of the other reviews and especially the reviews with pics. That’s just a fraction of what is going on here. 3. Do they have any professional mechanic ever on staff? 4. This location regularly closes because there is only one single employee on the site. 5. They don’t even have the proper tools. 6. You are paying for them to learn on your vehicle. 7. ALL Jiffy Lube locations that are managed out of Sewickley are under various forms of investigation

UPDATE: the regional manager contacted me and was very helpful. He refunded me the amount that I did not receive an estimate for ($100). He immediately sent me a money order. So I am satisfied. He is a great guy:) If you do go here, just make sure to ask for an estimate before they start work - Just In Case! //They didn't give me an estimate before doing the work, then overcharged me by $100!. I have asked to be compensated. If I'm not compensated, I will return with the full story. The employee was definitely shady. I really feel he ripped me off. BE CAREFUL if you go here. Ask for an estimate of the full total before they do the work.

Do not, under any circumstances go to this location. I went to get a standard oil change, then noticed significant oil leaking under my car. I took it back and they topped it off and then tightened the oil plug so much it stripped the threading and it cost over $600 to fix it at Baum Blvd Automotive down the street. Mind you by over torquing the plug it still caused a slow leak that had to be fixed before engine problems occurred. After MONTHS of inconsistent communication from the owner Martin Davis, he now wants to deny the claim even through I always responded promptly and provided documentation and pictures from Baum Blvd Automotive proving the damage. This is after him assuring me multiple times he would get it resolved and go MIA for weeks at a time, likely in hopes I would just give up. Completely unprofessional, lazy practices, and could have resulted in serious engine issues with how much oil we were losing.

Waited over an hour for what was supposed to be "15 min" oil change. Watched John the manager with get into a face to face argument with an employee in front of everyone in the waiting area about a cell phone charger. They somehow knocked my frontal flex pipe loose, told me to get a receipt of it being fixed. I brought the receipt back and them John told me they never had any intent on compensating me for the repair. So, yeah. Worst oil change in the city by far.

I went there because my headlight bulb was out, called ahead of time and they told me they were able to fix it. While I had to wait a little longer than I would have liked to, it made sense because let me tell you they were BUSY!!!! I just happened to come at a busy time, there were probably 7 cars in line for an oil change. But I like to recognize good customer service and everyone who worked there was handling the rush extremely well navigating these cars and making sure to speak to everyone waiting. I was honestly impressed how well they were handling this rush. Also I have a Subaru I know the headlight is not easy to replace and they did it! Also I didn’t pay nearly as much as I thought I would have to after all that work it took them to replace my headlight. I wish I got their name because they did an excellent job. Most other places require appointment ahead of time for something like this and I just went in and got it fixed. You guys are awesome

Be very careful with your bill at this location. I went in for a standard tire rotation and oil change, but they attempted to charge me $270—over $100 more than my estimate. Upon reviewing the invoice, I found charges for cabin and engine filters that I never authorized. What’s most frustrating is that I had specifically confirmed the services with the attendant just 15 minutes prior. While they removed the charges after I confronted them, the "mistake" felt dishonest rather than accidental. I won't be returning.

I ALWAYS go here for my oil change. The staff may change, but the service is always knowledgeable, pleasant, and professional. They don't take advantage of you by selling services you don't need. They show you the old dirty filters they replace. AND you can watch them work. I recommend Jiffy Lube.
