Vinny and Joe of Vinny's Alignment and Tires were a tremendous help with an issue my mother's 1996 Ford Crown Victoria had. My father and I had taken the vehicle to a number of shops closer to their home and were repeatedly told that the vehicle could not be aligned due to the lack of camber adjustment being available. This is something that can typically occur due to prior damage or worn parts. The trouble is that my parents have had this vehicle for the last 20 years and since it had 9,000 miles (it now has 4X,XXX) with it never having been in an accident and rarely striking a pothole. Given that the vehicle was wearing tires extremely prematurely, something was going to have to be done as this car is still too nice to send out to pasture. After a significant amount of research, I was led to Vinny's based upon their prior reviews and ratings online and felt that they were most likely our last chance and hope to get this resolved. Right from the start Vinny and Joe were both very professional and open and candid with regard to the entire process as well as about what they were doing. When all was said and done they WERE able to get the vehicle lined up, but they were also up front about the fact that they could only just get it into spec and not into the optimal range. Given the age of the vehicle, the appropriate camber kit to assist with fixing the issue is not available. With no obvious physical damage to the suspension parts, Vinny and Joe indicated that the only way to be most likely to fix the issue would be to replace the front suspension components on the vehicle. The price he quoted to do it, while as significant as you'd expect it to be for that type of work, seemed to be reasonable for the quality of parts he was intending to use. My parents are ultimately still unsure whether or not they want to sink the additional money into the vehicle based upon what they perceive to be the overall value of it, but the most important takeaway is that Vinny and Joe were able to do what other shops were not, which is to at least get the vehicle aligned so as to get it to the point where my parents can review their options without immediately getting rid of the vehicle. My parents and I want to thank them both for all that they did. If you are looking for a competent, talented, and reasonable alignment shop, I would suggest not looking any further and giving Vinny's a chance to correct your alignment issue. Even though this shop isn't geographically close for either my parents or I, I can't imagine going anywhere else if I had a vehicle with an alignment problem. Thanks again, guys!!

Amazing customer service. Keke was super friendly and personable making the appointment for my alignment. I came about an hour early for my appointment and they were able to work on it immediately; incredibly accommodating. Vinny is also super friendly and willing to explain what goes on, how it works, and assures you that you won’t be charged for anything you’re not prepared for without your consent. Wonderful experience.

My Hyundai Kona threw its timing chain. Mega-problem. Had it towed to Vinny's where they did the diagnosis, confirmed it was the timing chain. Here is where it gets interesting. They called the Hyundai dealership, confirmed the repairs would be covered by warranty (congrats Hyundai), and then called me to tell me to have the car towed to the dealer where they would do the repairs under warranty for free (actual cost was about $1500). THIS is what I call outstanding service. They could have just done the repair and billed me. They did not. I paid $100 for their diagnosis and saved $1400. That is what I call integrity.

This has to be the best auto place in Pittsburgh. I went there for a alignment and the service was great from the start. I pulled up to this place the guys came out and pulled my truck in quickly. They were very welcoming and friendly. I felt like I known these guys forever. The service was quick they told me exactly what was going on. Very honest guys there like a family there and I enjoyed there bowl of candy and ice cold water. I recommend this place to my family and friends.

I cannot give a good review because the car was pulling to the right after the alignment. The owner claimed everything was perfectly done even when it obviously wasn’t. There were two issues, which I learned about at two other independent services. 1. Stuck screws that prevented full wheel alignment. 2. Lower control arms to be replaced, as otherwise wheel alignment would not hold for long… Question remains, why did they do wheel alignment in the first place??!! Why didn’t they tell me about these issues??!!

I took my van to Vinny's to get an alignment, after I picked it up and drove two miles, hit a bump in the road and the car shifted 2 feet. All I know is it wasn't doing this before I took it there. Took it to another shop they said I needed a sway bar and links and no way any mechanic with half a brain couldn't see that. It's running fine now. Will never take another vehicle there.

Cheap prices, super fast turnaround, and consistently the BEST service of any automotive shop I have taken my car to in Pittsburgh. Go here first! Absolutely amazing place. In and out with a tire patch and amazing service in 20 minutes. I wasted over 2 hours with Pepboys down the street who refused to patch my tire, refused to put my spare on, and instead tried to sell me a new tire (my current tires had less than 300 miles on them). Called Vinny’s in a panic because I needed my tire patched last minute and they were incredibly kind and had it fixed in quite literally 10 minutes for only $25. The whole ordeal with travel time took 20-25 minutes in total. They also have a dog who’s brilliant at calming stress 11/10.

For over eight months, I dealt with an annoying slow air leak in one of my wheels. This is my first time writing a negative review, and unfortunately, this shop truly deserves it. 1. I came in because my steering wheel was off by about 10 degrees when driving straight. After their first wheel alignment, absolutely nothing improved. 2. I rescheduled a second appointment for the following day, only to be told I’d have to wait an additional three hours. Then what was the point of making an appointment? 3. They didn’t offer any form of compensation or solution for the inconvenience. Overall, this is a repair shop with poor technical skills and even worse customer service. I strongly recommend avoiding this place.

I called Vinny's on a Tuesday at 4:07 pm and explained that I lived in Indiana, my son was in Canada with his family for work. His car had a front end problem that caused people to signal him to pull over. My son did not have time so I wanted to drive to Pittsburgh and get the car fixed. They said it sounds like you have some trouble come in Thursday morning and we will take care of you. I showed up before they opened and after pulling several cars out of the garage by 8:30 they took care of me. Parts delivered at noon and I am driving back home at 3 after a very reasonable bill. I would trust Vinny's to the moon and back. When you have 5 generations name on the door you know. If Vinny's reads this THANK YOU!

Overcharging for some mechanical works. Dishonest and rude. They fail the inspection for a fog light bulb, then quoted me $1000+ for an single engine mount. After I paid $50 for a 20min inspection, and when I ask if I could do some of the work myself and come back (since they want $30 labor and $30 for the bulb), the said:"Don't ever come back if you fix it your own, it's expensive to run a shop." Well good luck with your business. If you charge so much, the basic customer service is expected.
