I recently took my car to the Buick GMC dealership in Beaumont, Texas, after noticing the service engine light had come on. Before bringing it in, I had already done some diagnostics on my own and strongly suspected the issue was related to the turbocharger. I informed the service department about this possibility up front. However, they told me they would still need to perform their own tests to confirm the issue, which I understood. Within the first week, they diagnosed the problem — it was indeed the turbocharger, just as I had suspected. Unfortunately, what followed was a frustrating delay. Over the next three weeks, they told me various reasons for the holdup, including a part being on backorder and a personal issue involving one of their technicians, whose family member had passed away. They also said they couldn’t pass the job to another technician. Altogether, I was without a vehicle for about four weeks. While I understand that some delays can happen, I felt that the communication and resolution process could have been handled more efficiently, Jared being my service advisor did not do a very good job…. Being without a car for that long — especially when the diagnosis happened in the first week — was unreasonable and extremely inconvenient.

Took my sons truck in for service on July 10 It will be a month tomorrow and it’s still in there .. To replace 2) NOX sensors!!! it’s so hard to get ahold of anyone and when system had me text the manager , he don’t get back with me either! I was finally told it was going to be done yesterday, still waiting never received a phone call saying other wise 😤 My vehicle needs service as well, I’m surely not taking it here!

I live in Florida and I was on a trip over here in Texas . I had to take my gmc Denali in for work and was told it would take 4-8 days … i told them that my daughter is with me on this trip and she’s in a wheelchair and the only way I was able to transport her anywhere was with the truck to put the wheelchair in . I also asked if I could use a courtesy car so I’m not stuck at this air bnb with no car . And she told me no because I didn’t buy the truck from this location… I bought the truck from the GMC in Florida. GMC should be GMC period . Anyways There was no Communication with the lady that was appointed the car. Her name is Kristy. I called a few times after they had it for 10 days to find out what was going on and I got a text a few days later . Not even a call . They had the truck for 16 days!!! Wasted basically my whole trip not being able to go anywhere with my daughter . I tried to Explain my frustrations to Kristy and she basically shrugged me off . Even cut me off in the middle of talking because she didn’t want to hear me . I am so upset with the service that I received from this location . WORST gmc ever !! Go to the one 30 min away ! These people suck at this one!! I wish I read The reviews Before I came to this location. So many people are dissatisfied with the customer service and the service that they received . Learned my lesson FORSURE

Seven years it took me to save $20,000 to put down on a vehicle went to classic Chevrolet and found a truck with 16,000 miles on it. It’s $47,000. Went home they called me back the next day said hey you’re approved. I get up to the dealership and they tried to put me in a 84 GMC truck that has transmission problems, wiring issues, DEF sensor mass flow air sensor, injector issues the buttons to drop the tailgate or rotted out from you can’t unlock the doors from the inside of the truck They manipulated me and lied to me. I need a truck to do my work in order to provide for my family I never took possession of the truck. This was three weeks ago. Every time I get in the truck it has to go back in the shop. I don’t feel safe Driving that car or putting my grandchildren in to even go to the store without being afraid it’s gonna break down or leave stranded in the middle of nowhere.

The GMC service is extremely poor. It has been more than two months and my car is still not fixed. They aren’t even giving me a proper timeline. I’m completely disappointed . It’s unbelievable that GMC doesn’t even have their own parts available — it feels like they’re ordering them from Mars. The parts haven’t arrived for the last 10 days, and now they’re telling me it can take another week. I honestly have no idea where to file a complaint anymore.

Five stars to the Sales people who felt like family, each one helping the other. They made the buying experience pleasurable and I would do business within them any day. The finance team, however, did not explain all my extra charges and quickly pushed the paperwork through. When I tried to look through, I was not given that opportunity. Upon arrival at home, I realized why. There were 2100 extra charges , 650 was for the “free” oil changes for 2 years. Sounds a little crooked or someone needs to explain what free really means.

Would not recommend buying from this dealership. Very rude and pushy finance department and my "new" vehicle came with a poorly patched tire that now needs replacing and microscratches on the finish from improper detailing. When I asked what they could do for me at purchase the finance guy replied - "have you ever owned a black car? Every blemish is going to show." They've also denied that the tire was patched by them. Just another stereotypical shady dealership.
