I usually do not make reviews unless the experience has been borderline negligent. Yet, this time it seems the customer service is nonexistent. I am unsure if this is only my personal experience, yet here we are. I took my vehicle for a diagnostic a couple of months ago. There were some issues as to the final solution in the end it was solved. The repair took about a month with multiple delays on the date of completion. I received the vehicle was working perfectly, but after a couple of months of usage due to negligence of the techs the vehicle had to be dropped once more. I dropped the vehicle with an appointment last Tuesday 12/2/2025 no issues there. I called the following day to get an update and was told the tech had no been able to inspect the vehicle. I waited another 24 ours be informed that the tech had finally pulled it in to be reviewed. I did not receive a call as to the issue until I call on Monday 12/8/2025 where I was told the issue to the the problem was do to the previous "fix". I waited until today 12/10/2025, as I had not received a call, I reached out for an update and a date of completion, to simply be told that vehicle had not been worked on. As, of today my vehicle has been in there for a full week and one day just sitting there. Since it is my daily driver this is causing me issues as I am having to rent another vehicle. Now, I have to wait for god knows when. I hope they do better, because customer service is really lacking.

I’m giving a five star review because I really liked the dealership, I originally came in with no intention of buying a car but I found that the people who worked there were very genuine and especially the manager Muhammad who was able to persuade me so much so that I came out with a 2026 Tahoe Chevy that same day. I’m worry if I go back I won’t be able to leave without another car. Even so if I ever need a car again I’ll definitely come here.

I want to give a huge shoutout to Tray at Clay Cooley! From the moment we walked in, he made the entire process smooth and stress-free. He really took the time to listen to what we needed, showed us all of our best options, and never once made us feel pressured. Tray went above and beyond to make sure we drove off in the right vehicle for us, and his professionalism mixed with his friendly personality made the experience even better. If you’re looking for someone who genuinely cares about helping you get into a new car, I definitely recommend asking for Tray!

Definitely a five star review. The service we received from Carlos and the entire team was very good. We purchased a 2026 Traverse RS. My wife and I love the car. It was just what they told us over the phone and over the text that we shared. They were very helpful. I will look on there website for our next vehicle. Thank you everyone at the Clay Cooley Chevrolet.

Tray was helpful and easy to work with. Enjoyed my experience with him. Since my old car had given up the ghost, I wanted a Cadillac. Found the one I wanted at Clay Cooley, and Tray was personable, not pushy, and a good guy. He delivered the car to my house in Arlington the next day.

I should have read the reviews before wasting time and humiliating ourselves. Very unprofessional staff. I was in discussions with Mr Brandon however in his absence , his colleague gave us a terrible experience. Just because we were looking for a pre owned vehicle and planned the purchase after few days , the customer experience took a nose dive here. We were asked to wait for 20-30 mins for some number check(as per the individual who was handling). We may be new to market here but not stupid not to understand what was going on. When we asked the agent to show us the vehicle , he simply told me where the vehicle was parked. He did not even tried to show us the vehicle. Before we visiting the showroom, I was continuously getting calls and messages checking our visit but this kind of expertise is terrible. Absolutely worst customer experpence.

Since I bought my car back in April I’ve had nothing but great experiences. I went in today for a routine oil change. David was a huge help who assisted me through the whole process. He was friendly and professional and even apologetic when it took longer than usual. I’m glad to have chose this dealership who has such a great team!

I do not recommend purchasing a vehicle from Clay Cooley. I bought a used car on December 3. Within three days, on December 6, the vehicle began stalling and making a cranking sound and had to be towed back to the dealership. I immediately stated that I did not want the vehicle. Despite this, the dealership refused to undo the deal. A sales manager initially told me I would be refunded, then reversed that statement. I was later told no further assistance would be provided because their 30-day period had expired, even though the car failed almost immediately after purchase. I was directed to handle recalls on my own and told the deal would not be undone. Using an internal policy to avoid responsibility for a vehicle that broke down within days is unacceptable. The lack of transparency and accountability made this a very stressful experience. Buyers should be aware that if something goes wrong, even right away, you may be left on your own.

Excellent customer service!! I went in last week on Black Friday and had already planned to spend all day going to different dealerships in search for my new car, needless to say this was my first and only stop. My salesman was Daniel Baretto who was referred to me by my niece. I can't say enough about him. From the moment I walked in to the time I left everything was great! I told Daniel exactly what I was looking for, what I liked and didn't like. I test drove a couple cars until I found the one for me which was a 2022 black on black Hyundai Santa Fe. Daniel really paid attention and listened to my concerns and needs and was very patient with me. I am so happy with my new vehicle! If you're looking for a new car, I highly recommend this place. Daniel Baretto is friendly, knowledgeable, and easy going. Not pushy at all, I think that's what made the whole experience smooth. Thanks again Daniel!!

Just copped my 2nd car with Daniel over at Clay Cooley Irving and LET ME TELL YOU..! I don’t make anything easy 😂 I actually pulled up in October 25’ and technically wasted his time because I said “no deal” and walked away..but only because he was honest and told me it wasn’t the best deal for me (and he was right). Fast forward to now, I came back, got an even BETTER deal, and drove off in a fully loaded Brand NEW Bronco Sport Outerbanks in my favorite color 🙏🏽🥰👏🏽 On top of that, my situation was messy and STRESSFUL I was absolutely one of his toughest customers PER USUAL! BUT he still made it happen. Gave me tips, kept it real, and guess what?? NO CO-SIGNER AGAIN 🙌🏽🙌🏽. PRAISE JESUS 👏🏽 If you want someone who’s patient, honest, and actually has your back instead of just trying to sell you something, go see Daniel. Period. #BRONCOGANG

My salesman, Jesus, was excellent. He was prepared both days I came in, answered my questions clearly, and made the sales process smooth. I truly appreciated his professionalism. However, my experience with the finance manager was unacceptable. This was my first car purchase, and I had every right to ask questions and have the numbers explained clearly. Instead of being professional, she was dismissive, irritated, and openly disrespectful. When I asked her to break down the numbers, she repeatedly responded with comments like “Oh my gosh,” which is completely inappropriate in a professional setting. She told us GAP and maintenance were included “for free,” which was not true. She also claimed she lowered my APR as a favor, which was misleading. When I confronted her about the inconsistencies and told her I felt she had not been honest, I asked to work with someone else due to how disrespectfully she was treating us. She responded by saying she was “over finance,” implying there was no one else to speak to. Only after we involved the sales manager then she changed her tone and she finally break down the numbers properly which shows she could have done that from the beginning. No customer should feel talked down to while making a major financial decision. I understand financer are expected to sell add-ons, but no one should be disrespected the way I was. Because of the finance department, what should have been a positive first-time buying experience became stressful and disappointing. I would recommend Jesus as a salesman, but management seriously needs to address the conduct in their finance office.

I recently had my Chevrolet Equinox serviced at Clay Cooley Chevrolet, and the experience was very good overall. Making an appointment was quick and easy, and the service itself was completed in less than an hour, which I really appreciated. The cost was reasonable, with no unnecessary add-ons, and everything was explained clearly. They also cleaned my vehicle nicely before handing it back, which was a great touch. I especially want to thank John Crews. He was extremely helpful, took the time to explain what was actually needed, and made the whole process smooth and stress-free. I will definitely return here for future services and strongly recommend this place to anyone looking for fast, honest, and reliable vehicle service.

Horrible experience so far. Started with being told to by service advisor Merari that we could be put into a loaner if repairs took a long time. 21 days later and still no loaner. Service at Clay Cooley takes no accountability when working with Ally, a service they sell when you purchase your car. Does not help to be put on hold for nearly 3 hours to speak with a manager, only to be told they were not in the office. People answering the phone and hanging up consistently today. We’ve purchased and used Clay Cooley dealerships for services over 10 years. It looks like it’s time to look elsewhere if we want better service. Very disappointing.

Remember when we were younger and people used to say “Clay Cooley sells lemons”? I ignored that and thought, How can I go wrong with a new car? Just FYI—I wouldn’t send my worst enemy here. I have a 730 credit score, yet the deal they offered me looked like something meant for someone with a poor credit history. I was honestly flabbergasted. It felt very clear that Clay Cooley pushes hard for their in-house financing only. Ed Edward brought me back an 84-month quote with a monthly payment of $700+. Do the math—that’s nearly $30,000 extra over the life of the loan. What makes this worse is that I walked in with my own financing and only wanted to see if they could beat my rate. Extremely disappointing experience. If you value transparency and fair financing, please avoid this place at all costs.... just fyi I got what I wanted elsewhere at $548 per month..

The service is perfect! John Cruze in service was more than helpful, courteous and informative. John also wasted no time getting me in and out the door. Also when I called to make an appointment, the receptionist was so nice! And as if they weren’t already exceptional the dealership gave me a much needed car wash I was so surprised and happy! My next stop was the car wash and the dealership did it without me asking. I’m only going here from now on!!

I had a great experience. It started off a little shaky, but as time went on talking, getting to understand Mr. Brandon and letting him show me what he could offer, he explained everything to me. He showed me the paperwork, he took me through everything so I had no questions at the end. And I have a great SUV and yes, I would buy another car from him again.

I would give negative stars if I could! The absolute incompetency and level of service this place offers is unbelievable. If you have any other option to choose than to come to this place, then take it. AVOID AT ALL COSTS! I brought my truck in for a simple recall and warranty covered battery replacement. They tell me that my entire engine needs to be replaced and it will take a week to do so, but no loaner vehicles are available. It took them over a month to complete the service. Then they have the audacity to charge me $1,300 for a warranty covered issue and when I left a bad review they had someone call me to waive that charge and asked to change my review to 5 stars. Which would have been fine, IF my vehicle actually worked. Then next day my vehicle leaks transmission fluid and runs worse than before when I brought it in. I get it back a few days later and I’m still having issues with the truck running, the brakes aren’t working properly and it’s leaking transmission fluid AGAIN! I’m trying to get my vehicle in and serviced a third time, which I don’t even want to do because of how incompetent these people are. They also can’t get me into a vehicle to cover me while it’s being serviced, over Christmas!! Overall, when I spoke with the tech about all these issues I’m still experiencing he offered to have a seller reach out to me to trade in my vehicle! I don’t want a new vehicle, I want my truck to work properly. It’s insane how it was fine before and now it runs worse after taking it to these people. So, again, avoid at all costs.

Mauro at Clay Cooley Chevy was great, go see him. He brought his past experience from sales to this company & is helpful in every way. The sales manager Joe makes you feel like family. The finance manager Lance & Mario are very informative & professional. The financing is great, & they help you. I sold cars for 5 years & loved the experience. Clay Cooley is one of the biggest dealer chains in USA. Dont go to anyone else
