My kids want this to be 5 star but I’m rating 4 because I want longer dry time to get the entire car dry before leaving. It’s always fun in an automatic wash.

I was very impressed with the manual sprayers at Waukee Auto Wash—they actually got my car clean! The bays are nice and warm as well. This was particularly nice given the fact it was a chilly fall day when I visited.

The owner always keeps the place neat and clean... The equipment is new or in great condition. You can pay with a credit card also. However, when using quarters time starts counting down as soon as you hit the minimum. I wasted 2 minutes putting in enough to do the job. The time beepers don't work either to let you know your time is almost over so it just shuts off. Finding a new place to go as it seems these things are like this to collect more money.

First time we used this car wash, we inserted our money to use the vacuums and vacuum wouldn't work.. we moved to the next vacuum and that one didn't work either.. then I gave up on using the vacuums, so we then tried the car wash.. inserted our money used the high power wash setting and it was not very strong. Called the number and I talked to a lady and she was very accommodating and gave us a refund... THEN we just went there again to try another stall to wash our car. Used the brush with soap setting! Very disappointed!! Compared to other car washes, in my opinion, I believe they really need to reconfigure there setting.. 1) the foaming brush should ALWAYS have a continuous flow, there should be more bubbles then we know what to do with 2) went to rinse off the car and AGAIN not enough pressure.. 3) the time allocated for the cost is a little skimp. It would end up costing us over $12.00 to wash our little hybrid at this car wash. My opinion listen to the customers and make changes or the word is going to spread and you'll end up lacking in business.

Car wash was decent though I went through the automatic one and it still didn’t throughly clean my car but I was on a time crunch. Also, the fact the basic automatic wash doesn’t include the dryers at the end is just silly. And the vacuums were way overpriced and confusing to access. But still pretty decent for a car wash.

Decent car wash, just don't use a debit card in the manual wash bays. Today was the second time that it has happened to me that I have stopped the wash with the display saying around a $2 or $3 dollar charge (I ran out of change today so ran my card to finish), yet it always charges my card $11. I like the car wash, but the over-charge issue is a big turn off.

Update.. 4 years later, now none of the chemicals come out anymore. Plain water. This place is a joke. I have visited this place at least 5 times and every time I have been to the manual wash, it has not performed in Presoaking. It spits out very little water and there is no foam at all like at the other carwashes. By the time you presoak your vehicle, you have already went through $3.50. for a quick car wash, it'll cost you $9-$10. Please improve

Wow, self-serve is pricey, ran through the settings pretty quickly, cost me almost $13. Probably the most expensive car wash for self-serve that I've ever been to. And just an average marginal car wash at best.. to top it off, the wand/ hose leaked all over my pants the entire time.....

Feb. 2024. The wash had good water pressure to get country road grime off. Oddly the dryer was outside the touch-less wash bay. But there probably wasn't room to extend the building out that far Will stop again

The price to wash a car, is to high. Quarter gets you 15sec. That's after you put in 3.50 for 3.30sec. Pressure is ok, but not enough to justify the price of time. The vacuum cleaners are weak and short on time as well. Lot is kept clean. Equipment isn't beat up either. Would have gave a three star but again vacuums are weak.

The average reviews are probably low because who reviews car washes except when you have a bad experience... But as a local, I have used this car wash many times over the years and never had an issue. The facility is maintained and the machines are up to date (accept credit cards or cash). Sometimes a manual wash is just better. Price is reasonable too.

If you are looking for a self service car wash, the kind that you spray your vehicle yourself, this is the place to go. This place was clean and all the equipment worked. Water pressure was awesome.

Been going to this car wash for years, personally I like to wash my car myself and having multiple bays allows for me to get this done relatively quickly even on days where its busy. Owner/Workers have always been extremely nice when I was there sparking up conversations. I will continue to keep going here just based off the past experiences ive had.

The car wash seems kind of expensive for as short as the wash is. Also, the dryer doesn't do a lot. The drying time is super short the way it is, especially when mine went from 19 seconds to zero. So I had to come home and dry the back side of the vehicle myself to avoid spots.

most expensive self serve wash i’ve ever been too. even still, it’s a very average car wash at best. really like the dryer gun, but wasn’t given enough time to dry the entire car.
