Came here the first time, was scared that they wouldnt take My car in due to not arriving at the time i was scheduled due to tow truck being so late but thank god they took me in and shout out to Cam she took care of me and got My car into the system and ready to look at and maybe worked on so i give thia place a four Star for now and SEE what happens with My repair. Well update on this rating, now that I have my car back in my hands and have driven it, it's amazing how great it's running, thanks to J he did an amazing job. I give this place a 5 star, my car was handed back when they knew they had gotten what I needed done and some I can't thank them enough for working with me and being so patient. Thank u guys for everything n I will be referring more people when they ask . Well update I had my car worked on back in August of this year well they stated on the paperwork that they removed and replaced the flex pipe and charged 866.39 well it is now November and my car started making a very loud noise when my husband got under the car to check the flex pipe they said they fixed was welded back together we saw no new part , also my ✔️ engine light is still on when asked why they stated I needed to bring the car back they would have to diagnose it again and run a smoke test ha what a joke just another way to get more money.

What stood out? The waiting area was actually clean and had good coffee. It’s a small thing, but it shows they care about the customer experience, not just the car.

Overall they do good work they worked on my 08 ford explorer had it for 3 days left had to return it because i heard i noise that i hadn’t heard before so i took it back next day they replaced one of my bearings which was odd because i recently had it replaced brand new so I’m assuming something went wrong after repairing either way they corrected the issue same day. My only problem i would complain about is there communication and time efficiency they had my car for 3 days due to them being backed with previous customers they communicate through a app and don’t really do well with follow ups i had to call them every time i needed a update so honestly if you have time to wait i recommend if you don’t have time i don’t recommend.

I was in Cleveland on a roadtrip from Texas when the dreaded Check Engine light came on. Not knowing any mechanics in the city, I chose Cleveland Auto Repair because it was closest to my location. It was luck of the draw, and I sure did get lucky. From the moment I got there, Richie made me feel like I was in good hands. He was friendly and honest. The work was done quickly at a fair price. I highly recommend this shop for any repairs or maintenance.

Friendly, timely service. Richard and Rockie are great to work with. Brought my Kia Sportage in when the engine started shuddering. The team diagnosed it and repaired it (and added and oil change) the same day. Thanks y'all!

Definitely not the experience I thought I was going to have at this place.. They were extremely professional, and the gentleman at the front desk even gave me a ride home so I didn't have to take a Lyft! I had an appointment for 10am, I showed up 20 minutes late because I couldn't find the shop, he said no problem and got my paperwork started which took all of 10 minutes They were extremely transparent with the pricing and the costs of everything, they sent me an email that allowed me to select what work I wanted done if any, no up charges and no work done I didn't want done. Car was in by 10:40 and was ready to be picked up at 2:30-3:00 THE SAME DAY?! For 2 tierod ends and a ball joint are you kidding me? All out they earned my 5 starts and I recommend this place for anybody that needs car work of any like

Marty upfront, courteous. Responded when texted. Only shop in my area that was open on weekends. Did get my vehicle back 3 days later than promised by scheduler on phone who i found out later is not on-site. (Promised same day) Thats main reason i went there. They are pricey. I have never paid $1,316 for radiator 2019 Ram. And they charged me another 3% for using credit card. $1,356. Service was pretty decent.

I just wish it was more communication on the shop's behalf as far real time notice of your vehicle being ready....it's very expensive to pay for UBER . Also by me not being overly knowledgeable about tire safety it throw my for a loop when I seen new tires on the back instead of the front. ALSO providing ACIMA is a godsend but I ran into some snags with the link on my phone would have loved to have had help from a more experienced associate the issue caused me to be 30 minutes late to work when I was there an hour beforehand- Esterine

I've been going to Cleveland Auto Repair for about three years now, through a few different cars. What keeps me coming back is their consistent expertise. They've caught potential issues during oil changes that other shops missed, saving me from bigger headaches down the road. You can tell the mechanics know their stuff and take pride in their work. It's a real asset to have in our community.

I picked this place based off the reviews and it has been a horrible experience for me so far. I dropped my car off and it took 5 days to give me the inspection report. No body called me with the report I had to show up just to get an update. Once I was updated the man Rick who was very nice told me he would call my warranty company and start the claim process. 3 days goes by and I called Rick no body still hasn’t started my claim process. 7 days just sitting in the lot. Now day 8 I go to the shop to get an update some other man tells me the BOSS has to do the claim process and she’s on vacation. Why would it be only one person in charge of the claim process and they’re on vacation just don’t make since to me. And if that is the case why didn’t nobody allow me to choose if I wanted to wait or not I could’ve took my business somewhere else. This is my lively hood I’m a case worker who can’t do my job without my car. Just inconsiderate

Highly dissatisfied! Took my car for bodywork repair. It took them over 4 months to complete & everything wasn’t not repaired as it should’ve been. Poor communication & undisclosed prices. When I spoke with the owner he said “that’s why it’s an estimate” despite the fact that I did not receive an estimate or work order. Definitely would not recommend. Do not waste your time or money.

I don’t know where to begin, I dropped my vehicle off November 7th for a diagnosis and estimate.the repair shop never once reach out to me regarding sending the estimate November 7th. Reviewing my email I seen an estimate was sent for a ecm replacement (engine control module) therefore I reach out from November 10th- November 14th with no response after paying .this no communication has caused me to come up into the repair shop after paying November 16th.when coming to the repair shop that Saturday the parts for the repair wasn’t even ordered they didn’t even know the estimate was paid so when coming to an understanding I was told the parts will be purchased that day, meanwhile the parts was never purchased until November 20th which is a Thursday. The next following day the repair shop email me Friday November 21st the car was ready for pick up at 5:30pm. While I come to pick my vehicle up the car is not properly corrected and running properly . The part was replaced but they never relearned the module and reprogrammed the vin which I paid them to do . This shop couldn’t seem to get it together smh. The car is supposed to be ready for pick up November 26th and still haven’t received any confirmation and haven’t gotten my vehicle back . The repair shop has told me they needed to tow the car to Jeep dealership since they couldn’t program the module and to see about a new diagnostic .they towed the vehicle somewhere else we never agreed on we didn’t agree on this location called start to finish .the person told me Jeep dealership and took it to start to finish.they had reverse everything that Cleveland Auto Repair did with the engine control module.the repairs is actually the primary fuel pump and secondary fuel pump. I financed the payments with sunbit loan and have been reaching out to Cleveland Auto Repair to get this corrected but haven’t received a response yet like usual I will have to go up there to get this reason out.I have been at this shop for a whole month trying to get this together.this situation is just draining mentally and physically due to this being my only car smh. I’m looking for further assistance and has contacted a few bureaus to get this reason out since they fail to respond communicate. Runnn .find another repair shop they neglect their customers smh seeing these reviews they are deceiving. I mights contact the local news station over thiss !!! Why not just fix this problem!!I will be reaching out for legal assistance regarding small claims court… it’s the principle that you think you could get away with scamming people. Well this establishment is about to find out . Liars liars liars you never detected a fuel pump issue you stated a ecm which your shop purchased that was not necessary with the misdiagnosis you did .. your business practices are terrible and the state of attorney will be reaching out to you… I know your not good at communicating but answer the phone when they call.you will be refunding me and you can take this ecm I don’t need back sir.whats not productive is you scamming people out there money…

Keep in mind, they do a full inspection before every repair and charge $200 for the labor for it, unless you buy ALL of the repairs that the mechanics recommend. I think this would be a good shop for thorough /complex repairs, but I wouldn't recommend it for quick repairs. Replacing my battery took two days...which wasn't the shop's fault - they were extremely busy, and got my car done as quickly as possible, which I truly appreciate - but just keep in mind you may be leaving your car there for a while. The communication was also not the best - when I'd call to check on the status of my car, it went through to voicemail every time. I think this would be a great shop if you want the thoroughness and care they provide, but if you only want a quick, simple repair, I wouldn't recommend it

On November 28th, I dropped off my vehicle (a 2011 Ford Escape) to this shop informing them that my concern was a bad front ball joint and uneven wear on my tires to the point that threads were becoming visible. I was informed an inspection would take place to verify the issue. At some points between then and December 5th, I requested updates regarding receiving an estimate. On December 5th, (1 week later) I was given an update. They apologized for the delay in notifying me citing "several unexpected changes and uncontrollable events that have affected our workflow." They would send me an estimate soon. On December 8th, I was given an estimate stating that I would need a new starter and acknowledging the issue I noted with my tires. At this point, they had not yet confirmed any issues with the ball joint and suggested authorizing the starter repair so that they may get the truck onto their lifts. I authorized this. Between calls and texts to the shop made on December 12th, 14th, 21st, 27th and 28th, I was led to voicemails in at least 3 different calls to the shop. I was responded to in texts with acknowledgment of delays and requesting my patience and understanding in completing repairs. On December 30th via text after business hours, I informed the shop of my desire to take back my vehicle. On January 3rd, I visited the shop, spoke with a gentleman that I did not identify and acknowledged I would be removing my truck and arranging for a tow to a different location. It was agreed upon that the charge for the diagnostics would be waived. On January 4th, I had my truck towed to a different shop. I selected this shop based off of its reviews and it's seeming commitment to quality. These are all the records as I noted them through this process. Make your own decision based upon my experiences alongside others. Personally, this process and plea for patience has costed me significantly. I need my truck for my work and being without it for (as of the time of this review) 37 days and counting has costed me over $1.3k in fares/fees for rentals or rides to work. That number is rising. It has caused me high stress where I did not know what was going on and all interactions asked me for more patience and understanding. Well, understand this. It has taken every fiber of my being to remain civil and professional through this. My "patience" and "understanding" were abused and my finances continue to suffer for it. I am spending more money cumulatively traveling to work than what this shop was requesting for the repairs in their incomplete estimate. There is no world where 37 days is a reasonable amount of time to fully diagnose a vehicle's issues despite "several unexpected changes and uncontrollable events that have affected our workflow." I will never return to this shop.

They will charge you about $200 for diagnostic fee when you bring your car in. (I got waived though) I had oil change service with full synthetic oil for $200. Spark plugs changed for $200. My car is 2016 ford focus. Kinda pricey but good service overall. And service was done same day! That was good. If you plan to pay with your card, be ready for extra 4%. They are kind too. Only the reason for 3 stars is the price. Thank you.

I appreciate how they handle service. My check engine light came on, and they were able to squeeze me in for a diagnostic the same day I called. The technician took the time to explain the sensor issue, offered a clear price upfront, and had it fixed within two hours. No upselling, no mystery—just efficient, professional problem-solving.

I love this auto shop, the people there were fun, engaging and funny. I was going to catch the bus home since they had a few orders ahead of mine. I was told nope you're not gonna take a bus anywhere, he got my car in right away. He ordered the parts and watched when they arrived. He helped me with setting up a easier way to pay for the work they did on my car. I could go on and on about the great service I received and that I enjoyed every moment of sitting there in good company while they worked on my car. Thank you guys so much.

This company had my car a month before they even looked at it to tell me what was wrong. Then wanted to charge me $3k to fix it. They charge over $200 for diagnostics and I didn’t know that. Every time I called someone was rude to me on the phone. I just wanted to check on my car… I was able to buy all the parts and spent less that $300 and I have another mechanic working on my car and he’s not even charging me close to what they were. Most of their charges come from labor, which is trash cause half the work wouldn’t take more than an hr to fix. Especially if you know what you’re doing. I do not recommend this place at all. They gonna charge you an arm, leg, and lung to repair. DONT GO HERE!! Reply!! Just to be clear…. Since you wanna reply. I did not have sugar in my tank. You talking about the wrong person. I have proof of everything. My repair was my wheel bearings and tie rods.. check who yall replying too. I have the texts and emails as well. I also recorded every single call. I know what I’m talking about. Don’t worry I don’t want anymore services from yall.
