My wife and I were out today to find a repair shop for our 328i close to home here in Huntington Beach. After visiting Autowerks I decided to go by Coast Motor Werk to get another opinion on the work and service our car requires. Have to say I was aghast when the guy who I spoke with in the office abruptly told me we needed to make an appointment for any consultation on our car. Can honestly say that I have never been put off like this while seeking service advise for any car I have owned. Needless to say it was a waste of our time driving all the way across town and somebody should teach this very rude person something about customer service. Will be taking our car to Autowerks where we were treated like they wanted our business.

Ron and his team are very friendly and professional. I've been trusting my 750iL to CMW for several years. There's no upsell or pressure to do any service that's not recommended. Prices are great for the quality of work and usage of OEM products. Although any discount would go a long way in these tough economic times. :) I'd definitely recommend CMW as a great alternative to Dealership services. Keep up the great work! Thanks

I purchased my M3 from here and have had the best times cruising the mean streets of Huntington Beach. I'm pretty hard on the car, and it's made a few trips back to see CMW on the flatbed.... I never worry about whether or not they'll be able to fix it nor do I think I will be charged for work I don't need. The entire operation is legit and mechanics, service writers and everyone else to make up the team top shelf. I would highly recommend CMW to anybody with a Bimmer.

Took my X3 to diagnostically find all what had to be done. (CMW office, grounds and work area was exceptionally clean and orderly.)Found that there were lots of mechanical work to be completed and even tires to change. Ron was very courteous and professional and made me feel confident that I had brought my car to the right place. After 3 days of working on my car, I felt assured that my X3 would run smoothly. Sure enough, everything felt sound, and I even got exceptional milage since then. I will definitely take my car to CMW for all work to be done.

Ron and the crew over there are on the level. They are extremely knowledgeable and have a deep pool of experience; including many former BMW factory mechanics who were looking for a shop where they could actually practice their craft and not be relegated to fluid and filter change monkeys (guys that enjoy the challenge of wrenching great motoring machines.) The prices are most always better than the dealership and you'll receive a far more personable touch from guys that care about your car. That said, lets also be real here, If you drive a BMW and have to ask, "How much?" ...you probably should be driving something else that comes from Japan. Quality and pride of ownership isn't free. These guys will make it as manageable as possible when it comes to the bill, however, you must understand that they must pay to keep the "talent" in the garage. The garage is always full, especially on Fridays, but I believe that is more a positive reflection on their dedication to their business and expertise. George and the whole shop were a friendly group of people. I brought my e36 in for a new alternator and they had it fixed in no time. Also they threw in a free full-point inspection that led them to finding that my wheel bearing was in bad shape causing my car to vibrate, which I thought was an alignment issue. I took the car into the dealership a month prior to get Check Engine Light situated and the dealership didn't tell me about my wheel bearing in the full-point inspection that I paid for... George explained the severity of the situation and he had me back on the road the next day. Now the car is running smoother than ever and is far more enjoyable without the vibrations. Thanks George I will be coming back in the future because Coast Motor Werk is less expensive than the dealer and more thorough in its work.

These guys are professional, extremely knowledgeable about Mini Coopers, and- most importantly- honest. They are all certified in Mini repair and maintenance, and I won't trust my car to anyone else. It's easy to make an appointment and once you're there you can take advantage of the free wi-fi and coffee, or if need be, they'll arrange a ride until your car is done. My only regret is that I didn't try these guys sooner.

Have been taking my 09 M3 to Ron since the warranty has run out for routine services and have been very happy. He is genuinely interested in doing the right thing for the customer (unlike the dealerships I have seen in the area which are primarily interested only in up-selling). He is very knowledgeable about BMWs, much more so than many dealership service advisors. I have also had CMW do some minor body work and mechanical repair to the undercarriage of my car after hitting some freeway debris. Ron was professional and coordinated the bumper refinishing with Quality Craft flawlessly. Very happy with his work and recommend him unconditionally.

I really hated going to my BMW dealer to get my mini serviced. They always made the whole process so mysterious. I always felt in the dark about what was going on w/ my car. That is the reason I really am happy I found CMW. They actually explain to you what's wrong with your car. They don't seem to mind the many questions I ask them. The work's always been done the same day. They are always friendly and their shop is clean and inviting. They know what they are doing and I feel confident that they know how to treat my mini right. I feel that I am getting a better deal for my money than I would at the dealer.
