Great mechanics. They were busy, but squeezed me in and were able to pull OBD2 codes for check engine light when others couldn’t. They efficiently isolated fuse failures, and replaced my air intake hose. The site may seem a bit congested, but they are approachable and helpful. They helped me in ways I didn’t expect they could in 2 hours, and didn’t charge a mint to get me back on the road. ————————————— Update: a couple weeks after getting great service I opened my hood and found my Kia engine cover was missing. I called Coastal several times and they said they couldn’t find it. Changing my 5 star to 2 star review. My $150 service to replaced a couple blown fuses and an intake hose for superficial issues, became a $500 investment.

This place is shady. Be very careful about taking your vehicle to Coastal Automotive. Took my Nissan Murano in for an exhaust issue and they put it up on the lift and told me it was the catalytic converter. They showed me the two holes and everything. What can go wrong, right? Okay, I say let's do the work. Now, mind you I live in the Military Circle Mall area, so I'm not far from this shop. How about before I could get home all my antifreeze has leaked out the radiator. It's late and I take it back early the next morning because I thought maybe something is loose. They claimed they didn't know anything about it. I beg to differ. These people done punctured a hole in my radiator and swears up and down they had nothing to do with it because they were working on the exhaust. Shady, shady, shady...be aware. Take your vehicle there and you may get more than you bargained for. I don't like being screwed over. Don't go to Coastal Automotive. You've been warned.

This place is a breath of fresh air. Being a female, I'm already hesitant about taking my car to any repair shop for fear of being taken advantage of or unfairly overpriced. Not at Coastal. They listen to the car issues i was experiencing. They went above and beyond to find the the solution and explained to me how it tied in to the problems i noticed and in terms I understood. The hospitality is great. The owner is very down to earth, understanding, and approachable. The mechanics are extremely knowledgeable and didnt mind showing me and helping me to understand why I needed the repairs they suggested. They're honest, have fair prices, and will tell you all your possible options. They went above and beyond to make sure that my vehicle was fixed correctly and did not try to sell me on hundreds of dollars in unrelated repairs (as we all have experienced at other places). Coastal has done great work on my vehicle on multiple occassions and each time is the same great quality and treatment!

By the way, the lady and the owner also contacted a former employee to say I “gleaned” information about them (which I did not and could not). Do not bring your car here. This has been the absolute worst experience ever. Please do not bring your car this this place. I actually had to voluntarily surrender my car because they pretty much told me one issue with my car and then when the car overheated and almost broke down 3 minutes after getting the car back, they then said that I had a cracked engine block. So - they have receive $1,000, then when she realized that it was not done properly, she said she would put $400 of labor towards the engine repair, which would cost $2800. I wonder why she would not knock that off the price? I offered to pay something, but I cannot justify $1000.00. I still owed $3200 on the car and I was gong to use the car to earn extra ends to pay for the repair. Well, my children wont be able to have Christmas this year, I've had to voluntarily surrender my car, and they get $1000 for free. Congratulations on screwing over a good hardworking and honest lady!

I walked into this place off the street and needed quick assistance. The young lady at the desk was very pleasant, professional, and helpful. I waited a short time for service.
