avoid this dealership, made me wait for hrs for my car to be detailed and to switch my rims after having my trade in for 3 hrs. Then kept my rim locks. allowed customers who purchased a vehicle after me to meet with finance dept b4 me. failed to tell me that he was selling me a used car with 1 key and fob. treated like a number not like a valued customer. Finance dept completed 2 additional hard credit inquiries without my consent.

I purchased a used car from here just over 10 days ago. My daughters were in the car and the radio stoped then came back on. I was at the dealership today and told them and they said that it’s not covered and if I wanted they could do a diagnostic test for $149. Buying the car was good but they are only in it for the money.

I feel so used and betrayed. I went to this dealership for an oil change and I asked them to check my engine light that was on they stated there are 2 codes showing so 2 diagnostic test have to be done 149.00 each I said ok It revealead some issues he told me the price I said ok and they call me and say when they were test driving my car my water pump busted which was fine when I brought it to them and now tthey want to put in a brand new water pump on top of the 3200.00 dolars they were already charging me for a catalyc converter and some leaking lines and these people are rude and unprofessional and money hungry beware! He going to tell me I am not doing something for nothing! I was a good pay day! So people beware!

This is the most non pushy experience I've ever had while buying a vehicle. Brian Ponte was 100% professional and low key, which is rare for a car salesman. We got an unbelievable deal on our truck and they beat our own bank with financing. I'd go back here in a heartbeat. Bonus: They have a gourmet coffee machine(lattes, cappuccinos, etc)in the customer's lounge that they offer free of charge.

Non-regular customers beware! As a firm believer in fairness and transparency, I write this review to alert new customers seeking "professional" and "courteous" customer service. In early 2023, I bought a vehicle from Copeland Chevy in Brockton. A few months in, my front brakes started to squeal significantly prompting me to bring it in for service. At that time, I was told the front brake pads and assembly needed to be replaced due to a defect. Estimated repair time was unknown as the parts were on back order. I received a comparable rental for about 45 days while waiting for the repair. Fast forward to early June of 2025, the gripping squeal returned. In an effort to get it looked at somewhere closer to home, I figured, why not bring it to Colonial South in Dartmouth? I regretted this decision after not even 10 minutes of being at the service desk. After explaining the circumstances to "Service Manager" Steve Arnold, it was apparent that he wanted nothing to do with my vehicle as it was serviced elsewhere a year prior. I explained that the previous work was completed and closed out, and who was to tell if the new issue wasn't something brand new without diagnosing it first? Keep in mind, the vehicle is still under warranty. I left the vehicle there and went to Enterprise to get a rental. This was around 8:00 am, which is important to note. In addition to the brake issue, I had two open recalls. Steve would explain that at a minimum, the two recalls would take around an hour each to update. At 11:04 am, I received a text stating that my vehicle was ready for pickup. Incredible! Three hours and everything was fixed! There was even a link in the text to watch a video of the completed repairs. It was a miracle that not a single issue was found with the brakes. Prior to driving all the way back to Colonial I respectfully asked Steve if he could have another tech take a closer look as the noises were obvious and the sole reason for the service appointment. I got a response saying: "I did have two guys drive it did not hear any noise from the brakes sorry I'm trying but if I don't hear it I can't fix it." I returned to Colonial, met with Steve, and was provided with my service slip and almost ushered out the door with a sorry, we can't help you here. Frustrated, I asked Steve to come outside and listen to my vehicle in my presence to which he agreed. I pulled out from the spot, applied the brakes, and again, I could hear what sounded like a 1999 International school bus braking at a scheduled stop. Steve looks at me right at me and without skipping a beat tells me "sorry, I don't hear anything out of the ordinary." Now I guess because sound interpretation can be subjective, I asked for another tech to come out. Surprisingly, this request was granted and a tech came outside shortly after. The tech sat in my front passenger seat, and within 10 seconds of driving around the building, he looked at me and said "oh yeah, I can hear that. That is loud!" So what's the game here? I’m writing this lengthy review not only to share my concerns about the lack of professionalism I experienced at Colonial, but also to raise awareness for others. If you're not a familiar face to the crew—or haven't had prior work done there—you may find yourself treated as less welcome, and your vehicle's issues may be dismissed or ignored. In my case, a technician actually came out and acknowledged the problem with my vehicle. Yet the so-called "manager" insisted repeatedly that there was no issue at all. It’s frustrating to experience such a disconnect. Dealer's choice, I guess—but it certainly left a bad taste. I returned inside and after the tech confirmed the noise to Steve, I was asked if I had my service receipt from Copeland. There is a character limit here, but in short, faulty pads were discovered and replaced. In closing, go to a Chevy somewhere else. The rigamarole experienced here was nothing short of a Ringling Bros. extravaganza. Just do your job and treat others with basic humanity and respect.

If I could rate 0/10 I would!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME BUYING A CAR WITH THESE PEOPLE. We got a letter in the mail about how our vehicle was so high in demand right now they wanted to pay top dollar for it blah blah blah. We knew it was too good to be true but we went by anyways to see what this was all about and we are actually in the market for a new vehicle anyways. We sat for 2 hours with the sales guy Rob and the sales manger Rodrigo who got us an out of the world deal and said because we were the last customer of the sale and day they were going to make it happen. We signed paper work, we agreed on price, we even shook the hands of the sales manager and sales guy telling us congratulations on the new vehicle we were so excited!! Fast forward to the day we're due to pick up the vehicle we get a call at about 5pm from Peter in finance asking if we would be interested in an electric vehicle or if we were able to come up with $6,000 I said what?? We already did paperwork and signed everything no we don't have anything extra to give let alone of that price. We drove over there and spoke to Peter coincidently the sales guy and sales manager were not working that day but I explained to Peter how awful it was we were lied to and we were not open to anything else but the deal and vehicle we were promised. As current Chevy owners and repeat customers I feel a conversation needs to be had with the 2 people who promised us this and Peter agreed and said he would call us with an update next day. Do you think anybody called? Absolutely not. I understand the business all too well and do not appreciate being played for either being a young female or the blatant disrespect to not even call after I expressed how disappointed and upset I was the deal was not valid and the vehicle was not in fact ours. We went to Toyota in Raynham today and came home with a car SAME DAY!! A brand new 2026 vehicle at that. I know many people based off of what I do for work and I will be relaying my awful experience to everybody I know. Shame on Rob in sales and Rodrigo the sales manager!!
