We showed up with a deflated tire 15 minutes before closing on Friday. Glenn, Tim and Zachary were phenomenal to work with. They were patient and very kind while explaining what the problem was. Zachary stayed late to do our tire repair, I’m so thankful God brought us to this shop. Will definitely recommend!

The guys there were very professional and empathetic to my issues. (Truck and personal ones!) The guy working on my truck was not your typical scary looking mechanic either, and a very sweet guy who communicated in dumbed down mechanical terms so I could understand. They warned me that labor would kill me and I would be better off selling it to a mechanic. They also told me what I should get for it. I plan on doing that. Thanks guys!

Excellent service. Great staff. I work an hour from home. I developed a bubble in my tire on the way to work. I stopped here because of it's close proximity to work. And I'm glad I did. They squeezed me in for a replacement that day knowing it would be unsafe to drive on it. And their prices are great. As a thank, you I've given them all my business since. Colony Tire and Service came Highly recommended to me by Don Irby's Transmissions! I had a situation that was very unique! Sometimes being a female and having very little knowledge about vehicles can make me feel very intimidated. However, I was treated with respect and patience. It required a lot of communication by telephone as I was a third-party and was not available in person. However, working with Glen and his team made me feel as if we were a member a member of the family! I would highly recommend this business to everyone I know! Keep up the Great Job!

Wednesday late we had a RV flat. Thursday morning we ordered Tire needed for next day/Friday delivery. Friday morning I drive an hour to go get the tire because I have to wait in line on a first come first serve basis for the tire to be mounted onto the rim, as ordering a tire does not put you in line for mounting. I get there and “oh, for some reason your tire did not ship. You’ll need to wait until Monday”. No call before I drove and no other option. Thats it. Thats all I got from them. After calling a dozen or so local shops, this seems to fit this local Colony Tire’s reputation here in Lynchburg. So, beware if you have to order a tire through this local biz.

We went here two years ago for replacement tires for my wife's car. Not long after, we got a low pressure warning. Took it to another shop to look at it as Colony isn't open on the weekends. The new shop couldn't find anything wrong with the tire and refilled it. Later, another tire. Same issue. Nothing wrong with the tire. The new shop said it looks like the they didn't seal the rim. Had this issue will all four brand new tires now. Losing air pressure because they weren't sealed properly.

Colony was so busy when I pulled in for inspection that I was forced to make an appointment for the following day. Time comes for my appointment and even though they were extremely busy at the time, pulled my truck right in to the shop and took care of me. They were friendly, thorough and gave me insight on what may or may not cause a problem in the future. This is my new go to for all of my service and repair needs.

I have been a rather loyal customer since 2008, before it became Colony Tire, but that ended today. I made an appointment on August 14 for Monday August 21st. I was told they’d be able to work on it and should be done on Tuesday (today). So I called today and nothing had been done to it. What I got was, “…well we looked at it”. There was no urgency to get my truck worked on. So, I had my wife pick up the truck today. You folks put me in a bind by delaying the repairs and the lackadaisical attitude concerning repairs on my vehicle. To be fair, I will give you a 3 star because the service I expected to get I really wanted to leave no stars, but because you’ve always done me well in the past I’ll leave three stars. Do not call me to work it out. Just cutting ties.

On July 1, I was driving my daughter up from Charlotte, NC to Lynchburg, VA for a college visit at Liberty University. Unfortunately, as we pulled into Lynchburg I noticed I was losing air in my right, rear tire. I pulled over and saw the tire losing pressure quickly. I searched my phone for a local tire service and saw the Colony was six minutes away. When I pulled up, the tire was completely flat. I walked in spoke with Glenn and explained that we had a 2PM tour (it was already 1PM) and asked if it was possible that anyone could check the tire and possibly replace if needed. Glenn was so accommodating and walked back into the garage came out after a few minutes and said they could take a look at it. The tire had a 1-inch slash and could not be fixed so they drove to their local warehouse and picked up a replacement tire. In the meantime, Liberty University sent a shuttle to pick us up and while we were on the tour Glenn updated me on the repair and knowing we would be returning after they closed, had my car waiting out in the lot at 5:30. I can’t say enough for how grateful we were to find such great customer service during a stressful situation 3.5 hours away from home. Thanks to Glenn and Jason, the mechanic who replaced the tire. I would highly recommend anyone in need of getting their car serviced to check out Colony Tire & Service.

I highly recommend this establishment. 3 separate times I have had sudden problems with my vehicle. The AC quit, Tire issues and then rear brake caliper and pads. Each time I was given fast service, very decent prices and quality work. Tim Brandt is a Good Manager who goes out of His way to lesson the pain of auto repairs as much as possible. You don't find that in many people these day's.

My wheel well retainer clip broke and the wheel well was rubbing on my tire. I pulled into a gas station and I, along with my son, were trying to figure out how to fix it when Joey with Colony Tire pulled over to where we were parked. He immediately got on the ground to inspect the tire and wheel well. Joey went into the gas station to see if they sold zip ties (they didn’t) and then he was able to pull a clip from the right side to secure the left side so I could get home. I offered to pay him and he said “no”. MY DEEPEST APPRECIATION to Joey for helping without being asked and refusing reimbursement. Stellar employee! Colony Tire must be lucky to have him.

The guys at Colony were great. My Ford Expedition had 22” factory wheels on it and I wanted to switch out to 18” wheels. I ordered Method Wheels direct and ordered Toyo tire through Colony. They did a great job helping me figure out what size tires I needed to keep the same ride height. I will definitely return when I need tire rotations and other tire needs. It was nice having a company that cares for their customers. It is hard to find that these days.

Before I actually used them for the purchase of new tires, I stopped by one day knowing something was going on with my tires - friendly and helpful, put air in and got me on my way.
