We were coming back from the Grand canyon. Our van started acting up but was able to make it into Hurricane before deciding it was done. We rolled into town at 8pm. I found Color Count online and was able to get the Van to there lot. I droped off my keys in the night drop box. Called the next day and explained my situation, knowing there was a good chance they would be to busy to fix it. To my pleasant surprise they said they would get it in that day. Two hours later I got a call that they had a diagnosis. By noon it was fixed and we were on the road again. Great business, great service, and great price. Thanks for the save Color County.

I was in the area coming all the way down from Northern Idaho and had a problem with my truck...Long story, but my hardware backed out on my upper control arms. Likely wasn't torqued to spec at my less than stellar local shop. Limped into town and dropped it off with Ross at Color Country and I have to say that he and his team were incredible to deal with. They were honest, up front and excellent in their communications with me as we worked through getting everything sorted out. When I flew back down to get my truck it was completely dialed in and the price was much less than I had expected. I wish I had a shop this good in my home town. 10/10.

We had a problem with our pop up trailer and we were all over Hurricane before we found Color Country. We came in at almost closing time. The turn and stop lights on our right side wasn't working and we had almost 200 miles to drive later that night so we had to get it fixed that day. Dustin spent a while checking and making sure everything was working as we had described it to him. He found it was a fuse that had blown out. He kindly replaced it for us free of charge. If I could give 6/5 I would. Highly recommend to anybody in the area.

The guys over at Color Country are honest, fast, and do good work. I dropped my car off early on a Monday, they were booked out a couple days (not a problem, shows they are trusted by a lot of people) but they had a minute to look it over, saw it was a simple fix, and were able to squeeze me in and it was ready that same afternoon! Definitely recommend this team. I used to take my cars down into St. George whenever I needed repairs, but I’ll be taking my vehicles here from now on.

Could not recommend enough!!! We were from out of town when our water pump blew. We dropped it off at 8 am and had our car back at 4:30 fixed perfectly! Customer service was top notch! After we got it back they checked in with us a few days later to make sure everything was working well for us! Amazing work, fast, and more than fair pricing! Much lower price than expected after talking with other shops! Thank you so much for getting us on the road again!!

Color country is one of the few shops that I trust with any of our automotive needs. They are consistently the cheapest and can always see us in a timely manner. As a woman, going to the mechanic alone can be intimidating and there are plenty of shops out there that don't hesitate to take advantage of someone who doesn't know the ins and outs of auto mechanics. I have never felt that way with color country. They have never tried to sell us on anything that wasn't needed and always explain things in a clear and simple manner. 10/10 will always recommend this place!

Thank you to Dustin and the staff here for helping me find my perfect 'new to me' car!! I brought in 3 different cars I was interested in but wanted to have an inspection done on each to make sure they were in OK standing (can't beat $50 to avoid spending $5,000!) The first car was an absolute no-go, and they were incredibly honest and trustworthy off the bat. Pictures and explanations of things they saw, great information on each car's reliability, and more. The third try was the charm, and I can not thank the wonderful team here enough for being so thorough, helpful, and genuine.

I've taken my vehicles here for a few years now. Unfortunately, the last fix I had done was about 700$ How they neglected to fix properly by not putting any oil back in after an extreme oil leak is beyond me. So I just wanted to thank you for ruining my car. It is now in the junk yard .

I wanted to love this place and have a consistent mechanic that I could trust but I just cant continue to take my car here. One mistake, thats fine, but the negligence just keeps happening. I've been taking my car here since I moved here over 4 years ago, and I was happy to have somewhere to take my car that wasnt a major chain. Then one time as I was pulling out of the lot the lug nuts on my wheels werent even tightened and my steering wheel was all over the place, I didnt even make it on the street, how did they not notice? The service manager was great and made them tighten them and I could tell he was upset about it too, so I gave them the benefit of the doubt and continued to return. Then a couple visits later, they took a razor blade to my tint to get the oil mileage sticker off and didnt say a word to me when I picked the car up, no sorry, no nothing. I asked them about it and they told me they knew and would be willing to cover it but that I had to go out of my way to get it done, no recommendations on who they use for tint or proactiveness about it either. Then I had to specifically request that they stop putting the sticker on my tint, felt like that was kind of obvious. Whatever, tint isn't life threatening, but the fact that they didn't even mention it and just let me find it was very agitating, and I had to ask if they were going to take care of it. Now this last time I took it in I had specifically said I need an oil change and I want specific problems looked at, so they booked me an appointment. I took it in, they did the oil change and then told me I needed to bring it back to have the other issues looked at more thoroughly... when I specifically tell you the issues I want looked at, wouldnt you book a window for them to be looked at thoroughly? And now make me bring it back? So I brought it back a couple days later and it took them all day to find pretty much nothing more than they told me after the quick inspection and then they tried to charge me for parts I didnt have them install. And now my skid plate screws are missing, I thought it was just my struts making more noise than usual because they do need to be replaced, but nope, it was my skid plate hanging on for dear life. I will give two stars because I have had good experiences mostly with the office staff, but the lack of attention to detail that happens in the back is just too out of hand. They are negligent and miss too many things or just dont care and dont take accountability. I wish I could keep them as my trusted mechanic but how can I trust them when its become a pattern of mistakes in the past couple years?

Service writers not a problem, techs not so much, we have had tint ruined, lug nuts completely forgotten about and now my wife’s skid plate is hanging due to negligence of putting a simple oil change back together. Will not be returning. Do better. Or getter techs that pay attention to detail. Very disappointing work.

We are from Orlando, and we're traveling around the country for about three months (we're only about two weeks in). I was hearing a clicking sound from the driver's side wheel well. So I called this shop and spoke with Celeste, who said I could bring my car in the next morning for an inspection. I had been to a different shop in another state, and they told me I needed a new CV and also new brakes. Color Country completed a full inspection, found only the CV needed replacement, and confirmed everything else with my vehicle was acceptable for continuing our trip. They had us in and out in one day. Celeste was a blessing to my wife and I, and I'm relieved that's it's behind us, while we're beating up on my poor car throughout Utah, Arizona, Colorado, etc. If I lived in Hurricane, this would definitely be my car shop.

My car's brakes stopped to work properly during a camping trip in Zion NP. The AAA tow truck dispatcher suggested Color Country Automotive and that's where my car and I wound up on a Monday morning at 9. The lady at the check-in counter was very polite and professional, but she noted that they were very busy that morning and that they probably would not be able to get to my car until later in the day. To my surprise and delight, they diagnosed the car around noon and had it fixed by 2 pm (for a very reasonable $120). Turned out that a rodent had been chewing on my brake wiring. They knew that I was in a pinch and certainly not a returning customer since I was only visiting the area, and they certainly could have put me last in line and charged me a big premium. Instead, I was treated as if I were a long-term customer. Professional and courteous conduct from everyone I spoke with. Wish they were closer to where I live; I'd use them all the time! On a side note, check out the owner's meticulous and detailed responses to some of the unfavorable Google reviews (not that there are that many). You will recognize someone who takes on negative criticism in an effort to identify where improvements can be made in communication, execution and customer expectation management. It takes a certain class, patience and grace to respond to some of the dissatisfied customers' rants, but he takes in stride, and his style and demeanor clearly filter through his entire business staff.

The best place I have found for everything automotive. They never give false advice and are very careful to check everything that could be wrong. I have been around a long time 72 years and seen lots of mechanics so it is saying something to prefer them.

I haven’t taken my car in yet, but just being on the phone to make an appt, they were extremely thorough, very patient, gave me different options and they seem very genuine. I did make an appt after calling multiple shops.

Problems identified in 2 days, finally repaired after 10 days after flaking on several commitments. Very polite people, but still the worst experience I’ve ever had at a shop. Brought it in on Monday, 8/18/25 and they finally finished 10 days later. I was told when I made my appointment the techs would diagnose the day I brought it in and likely have it finished in a few days. I made calls about progress on days they said they’d have it done and they just kept pushing it back. I called Tuesday because I hadn’t got a call about identifying the problems. I even drove in to test drive with the mechanic and show them what I was hearing. They said done by Thursday, then pushed it to end of day Friday, and end of day Friday they called me to let me know they couldn’t start on it. But they guaranteed it would be done on Tuesday if I wanted to take it home for the weekend and bring it back. I finally picked it up on Wednesday. I was given a $20 discount initially, and after complaining more they called to tell me they bumped it up to $100. I understand repairs can take time and some delays happen, but they flaked 4 different times they said they’d have it done. I think it would have taken longer if I hadn’t called in and prodded them. I think they took advantage of my patience and the fact I was fortunate to be able to deal with not having my truck. I lived and worked close by and also had access to a second vehicle. I hope they can do better with other people.

The customer service is awesome. I had a great experience with Celeste, Dustin and Gregg! They did the timing belt/water pump on my Honda Accord. It was done hours before I expected and the price was right on point. These guys are great! I would recommend this shop to everyone!

I seldom write reviews, but the team at Color Country Automotive in Hurricane deserves every bit of praise, especially during this cold weather! When my vehicle's heater gave out, I desperately needed a quick fix. Not only did they tackle the repair instantly, getting in done in just three hours, but they also showed an astonishing level of integrity that is truly above par. When it came time to pay, I was informed that they wouldn't be charging me. The reason? Months ago, they had completed a separate repair for me, and they recently received a warranty reimbursement for that past job. They could have easily kept that money - I would have never known about the reimbursement - but instead, they applied the amount as a credit and applied it to my heater repair. This level of honesty and transparency is almost unheard of and speaks volumes about the character of the entire business. Beyond the astounding integrity, the customer service and the people who work there are genuinely delightful. They are competent, efficient, and friendly, making the entire interaction a pleasure. If you are in the Hurricane area and looking for an auto repair shop that is not just competent but is unequivocally honest and customer-focused, do yourself a favor and check out Color Country Automotive. You won't be sorry!
