A week ago, my 2006 Audi A4 with over 170,000 miles broke down on NE Broadway by the Jacksons gas station on Grand. I walked up MLK to Comfort Auto & asked if they could help me. They offered to have a look. I had roadside assistance tow the vehicle to their shop. They promptly assessed the damage & called me with their findings. Given the car's age & value, it was essentially totaled. They worked with my insurance company to process the claim & have the vehicle towed to salvage. I found Paul, Daniel & co. to be honest & knowledgeable. This is a top-notch auto shop. Great experience all around.

I had an issue with my window on my Toyota. I had a big trip planned (~100 miles), so I didn't have time to fix it. But they immediately were able to see my and fix the problem. When it was clear that a fix wouldn't be quick, they wrapped the door a bunch in crash wrap and sent me on my way. Whole process took 10 minutes, and they were super nice the whole time. Going to a family-owned local business is so much better; you get better service, by a person who is genuinely invested in your happiness. 10/10

Had a great experience here. I came from other review recs - and will be back. They completed the work to satisfaction in a great amount of time. Estimate they gave was slightly lower than all others I got at other shops. They did not try to oversell me, treated me with respect, and even fixed part of my bumper I had messed up in a separate incident, when the work I paid for today was for my mirror! Great shop, highly recommend. Will be back with my other vehicles for sure.

this was probably the best experience i've had with a body shop. they helped understand what i can ask for from my insurance better than the insurance company. they were fair, upfront, honest. they had to go to such great lengths as finding another of my vehicle to get all the parts because it would be cheaper then buying them individually. it took nearly two weeks to find a suitable parts car but they persisted when i was losing hope. they explained everything clearly and communicated honestly about what the best options were. i will absolutely go to these guys again. they will be my new mechanics especially since i'm a used car guy. they know the ins and outs and did an amazing job. HIGHLY recommend.

These fellas are fantastic and came highly recommended by everyone in my neighborhood. They are honest, pragmatic, and do a great job. Had some very minor bumper damage (broken bracket and displaced splash shield) and a different shop insisted that the entire bumper be replaced, with a quote of $1200. Took my car to Comfort and they were able to order a replacement bracket and reattach the splash shield within 24hrs for a fraction of the price. I’m so glad I took my neighbors’ advice. These guys deserve all the praise they get.

These guys are amazing, Daniel, who I called to check in to see if there was a way to get my front bumper reattached due to me scraping it on a curb leaving a parking lot.. he said they can do it on the spot with no problems at all. Everything about my experience with Comfort Autobody was great from the first visit to when I picked up my car. Their communications was excellent and the end result of the repairs was absolutely first rate. It took a bit longer than I expected but this was due to getting the manufacturer’s parts, not because of them. They even communicated about that clearly so my expectations were properly managed. I found myself suddenly needing my alternator replaced at the end of the working day. Working in Portland and living in Vancouver surely meant I had to leave my car and ride share home. NOPE! Daniel and Sam stayed late to make sure I could get home safe. When they noticed a taillight out I let them know the last shop I was at said it was an electrical issue and they’d have to run a diagnostic to be sure. Sam and Daniel checked it anyways and found the bulb just sitting in the casing, not even plugged in! They popped it in and it worked. I felt genuine kindness from everybody I encountered at the shop. Even though I live in Vancouver, this may be become “my shop.“

Paul, Sam and the whole crew were very knowledgeable, helpful, and kind. My window on my ford fusion 2012 got stuck before work and so I called around to a few auto shops in the area. After visiting another auto shop who wasn’t able to fix my car, they recommended me to go to this one. They got me in the next morning, checked my car and ordered the parts same day. I got my car the morning after. The window was fixed and they gave me a list of things that needed fixing in the future, including videos. I feel like they didn’t try to oversell and they were super honest about their service. Good price, great quality, great service! Will be going back
