There is no better service experience available than what these guys offer! For things that only the dealer should do (like a 4 wheel alignment) this is the place to come. For diagnostics as well, they are unparalleled. You pay for the experience, so be prepared for market plus pricing for done services (brake pads for instance) that can be done well by others.

Everybody in the service center was great. I only wish that I could make an appointment for a scheduled oil change and actually wait to have the car done. To have to get a loaner vehicle and drive all the way back to Beaverton, just to drive all the way back five hours later is a huge inconvenience.

I am a former BMW tech, and I went with my friend at her request to pick up her car after a major repair job to listen to what the service advisor had to say. I was very unimpressed with this guy, he clearly seemed to want to talk to her and not me, someone who has knowledge of the repair process. My opinion is he was playing off her ignorance to make more sales. I asked very detailed questions about why certain repairs were charged to her, and not as part of the extended warranty repairs and he just gave us the runaround. Even the shop notes from the technician are basic and don't mention the necessity of the repairs. I asked if he could put that in the notes so we could attempt to reclaim those funds, and he was dismissive and said he already sent it off so he doesn't want to change it. This lack of detail will make it harder to actually claim the required repairs from the warranty company. Eventually he just ended the conversation by saying he has more customers to attend to without actually doing anything to fix the issues. I would not trust these people with my own vehicle after listening to him. 2 stars because the vehicle was fixed correctly.

Few businesses go above the essentials. … BMW is one of them. An oil change presents an opportunity to examine my vehicle … to which a video record is prepared. Then an anomaly appears which would usually be transmitted to the customer as an upcharge of at least several hundred dollars! Not the case here as the service advisor ensured the vehicle integrity was maintained without charging me … on an item that was out of warranty. That is the significance that makes clients out of customers instilling confidence and delivering a great experience. You deserve it to experience BMW Portland at least once in your life.

I will be returning next week to finish the troubleshooting item we had identified that needed some runtime to diagnose. My X3 has 160K miles and is still the ultimate driving machine. The service was good as usual but overly expensive. The x3 loaner was not very clean inside. The rear seat was out of adjustment and there was a used cover plate in the rear. Our x5 was supposed to be washed and vacuumed but was not cleaned inside. I left my reading glasses in a clear plastic case on the little table where we signed the bill and called and left message on Jessie's line and again spoke with a receptionist on Saturday but have not heard back.

This BMW location is the worst I've ever been to. They will out right lie to your face when they damage your car and refuse to fix it. This dealership has no accountability whatsoever.

The process of scheduling the annual maintenance appointment was easy and trouble-free. A loaner car was provided and I was looking forward to getting my car back in a few days with a fresh detail job. Being a car guy, it was fun to check out the electric loaner car. Once back home I started looking over the car. It was pretty dirty and had a lot of debris under the hood. After washing the engine bay and car, followed by vacuuming the interior, the loaner car looked like a new car with 7,100 miles on it. After receiving my car back, I realized the maintenance computer had not been reset. After starting the engine, the “Service Due” annunciation was displayed. This is the second time over 16 years of annual service at your facility that this has occurred. It’s not that big of a deal, but it seems that this would be an action item that is accomplished after every annual maintenance event. When this happened about 8 years ago, I drove back to your facility, which is about 40 miles away. The service technician simply accessed some page in the car’s maintenance display and reset the annual maintenance setting. For this second event, I have been calling the Service Advisor for three days and have not gotten a call back. It sure would be nice to get this resolved.

Recently had my 5 series in for some routine maintenance and Jesse Blair was my service advisor. Jesse took good care of me and service tech took good care of the car. Been coming here since purchasing the vehicle and never had a bad experience. Jesse gave me a great piece of advice regarding my battery replacement due to low charge about purchasing a battery tender to keep the battery topped off since the car sits in the garage a lot for days or a week at a time without being driven. On a humorous side note to GM to send someone over to Kuni Lexus to see how to improve your waiting area and what good coffee and endless supply of fresh donuts throughout the day will do for waiting customers 😊

My BMW had a stop drive airbag recall so I called them to have it scheduled. Whomever the person I scheduled the appointment with told me I had to call BMW's roadside service for the tow to their shop. After a frustrating hour and 2 separate occasions being bounced around BMW call centers, one rep that finally knew how this was supposed to work, called this dealership, put me in touch with the service manager, and he arrangements to get it towed. The frustrating start was easily forgotten about after my experience going forward with my team at BMW Portland. They had my BMW picked up and towed from Vancouver to their location in Portland at 9am, replaced the airbags, did a free standard inspection with an expertly presented video by Kyle, and James placed my key in my hand at my residence in Vancouver before end of day. I asked my service advisor, Brian about a certain expensive service that I thought I might need, and he had enough honesty and integrity to tell me that, given the circumstances, wasn't a good idea at this point. That kind of honesty buys my loyalty as a customer. There are plenty of other things that do need serviced so given the level of honesty, friendliness, and speediness of repair, I won't take my BMW anywhere else. Regarding my other 2 vehicles, I wish my local Toyota dealership was this good. Thanks to Brian and James for being friendly, courteous, and relatable. Thanks to Kyle for the awesome video inspection and repair. Cheers!

We explicitly asked for a loaner in advance and even confirmed it over the phone on Thursday prior our Monday appointment . When we arrived, no loaner was available, and we ended up wasting nearly 4 hours waiting for the service. Very disappointing experience—if we’d known, we would have considered other options.

This BMW dealer has some seriously awesome Service staff!! Kendall and Ms. Remsing both went above and beyond to ensure my prior purchase inspection addressed EVERY concern I had, all while being genuinely friendly and more helpful than I ever expected! My wife and I were looking into a 2003 X5, and having taken our 2003 530i to other BMW dealers in the past we expected to have a less-than-kind experience with our elderly vehicle. Boy was I wrong--Ms. Remsing in particular went out of her way to find all the service history that she could for the car, there was absolutely no judgement for having asked about an old vehicle. Thank you all so much, what a fantastic experience we had! I can't recommend this dealer enough!
