Ngoc and the guys a Concept Auto Repair are second to none. Ngoc takes the time to address your concerns and goes above and beyond when it comes to working on your car. It’s always been hard to find an honest mechanic that does the job right along with charging a fair price. Look no further, Concept is the place to bring your car. There are shops closer to me but I’ll drive over 30 miles away because these are the guys I trust. His shop is always busy so try and book in advance if you can. From oil changes to engine rebuilds Concept Auto Repair does it all.

I do not recommend this shop. The customer service is the worst. They take a long time to repair your car. It took them 3 months to get my car ready and there are still things wrong with my car.

Ngoc from Concept Auto Repair is an honest and competent mechanic. I have brought multiple of my vehicles to him. Absolutely pleasant experience ! He goes above and beyond for his customers. I recently brought my BMW 330ci in for belt, pulleys, trans fluid, alignment, filter, and some other work. My car drives like a dream now !

Car hasn’t been fixed yet, but the dude (I think the owner, didn’t get his name) was so nice and helpful. My clutch throw out bearings took a crap on my way home from Santa Cruz to Placerville last night and their shop was one of the closest that didn’t close in the next 30 min (it was pushing 5pm). I was panicking with my teenage sister and 2 year old son in the car trying to figure out what to do and how we were gonna get home that night all in the matter of these crucial 30 min before enterprise (closest car rental agency) would close too. I am 6 months pregnant too and was on the verge of a complete meltdown bc I stopped at another shop on my way to this one, and the guy there did nothing to help me at all and just said “sorry”. It’s nice when people show they care and are so willing to actually help, like here at Concept! I am super grateful for their kindness and was so relieved when they said they’d help me out. I would recommend supporting this small biz if you’re ever in the area or even live around here. 🙏🏼

Been going to this shop for over a decade and have nothing but great experiences here. The workers are honest and upfront. I have a lot of modifications on my car so sometimes things don't go as planned, I never have to worry too much because I know that the concept team has my back and gets the problem fixed quickly and properly. I would recommend this shop to everyone who is a car enthusiast as well as those that know nothing at all about cars. They do a great job at explaining the problem and how they will address it. Over all 10 stars!
