Fast and fabulous. We had gunk on the car from the chemical spray for Idaho roads. Once through and we were shiny clean and dry! It is a heavy duty car wash and does the job.

Mediocre washing. The truck was not cleaned well. The back tailgate area and bumper look as if the washer has not touched it. The side glass area behind the rear view mirrors also untouched.

If there was a choice of no stars I would have chosen that! I bought a new car on 12/16, I washed my vehicle at the Boise Costco Car wash on 12/21 and before I went through the wash I asked the attendant “is this a touch less car wash?” He said no it is not but they use the softest pads to clean cars and nothing gets stuck into the pads and my car will not get scratched. I was really hesitant on going through the car wash but did and regret it! As soon as I cleared the end I drove to the first open parking spot and looked at my car and found scratches on my brand new Subaru! I immediately went to the front desk and spoke to Rick assistant manager at that time and he came out and looked at my car and saw scratches then had me fill out an incident report. We then pulled my car into the service area when they change our tires and Rick took pics and said that he would put the pics into his report. I got a phone call a day later from the companies unde writer and she wanted my side of the story and I told her and she wanted new pics from me. I took the pics and sent them in. I got a phone call from the underwriter and she told me that she would not be able to give me any compensation because the scratches could not have come from the pads in the car wash as they are not consitances of how the pads swirl around. When i bought my 2018 Subaru Forester I first walked around it to make certain there were no scratches or dents and there were none! After washing your car here first look for scratches!! You know I was told that Costco’s would make this right because if they are very customer service orientated well not this time!!

Car wash is good and you definitely get what you pay for maybe even more when it comes to the exterior. Unfortunately they do not have vacuums. The tire shine is better then any other car wash I have been to as well.

After using the Boise Costco car wash in mid March 2021, I noticed several paint scratches and one deep scratch along the driver door of my 2015 Nissan Frontier. The scratch marks were in line with each other and consistent with the roller type brush that are in use by the Costco car wash. The vehicle in front of me had their roof rack torn off. I complained to the manager and we filled out some damage claim paperwork that gets submitted for third party review; I also requested videos from the gas station and car wash but was informed that the cameras would not be able to see that fine of detail. Three days after submitting the paperwork, I get a call for a verbal statement to add to my written statement by the third party reviewer. Two weeks later, I get a call stating that Costco was not at fault. I've been a loyal Costco fan for years and shop there almost weekly. This situation is super frustrating and I suggest you use a different car wash with brushless technology. I was extremely disappointed at how Costco handled the situation. I just wanted to vent and share my experience.

Decent wash at a good price, but no vacuums, very long lines, poor line management (2 lines slowly slowly supposed to merge), and the cars are so close together in the wash that if anything catches, there's gonna be damage to the cars.

Cleans well and has premium features (wax, undercoat, tire shine) for price of an $8 regular wash at other places. You can run back through if it doesn't clean up the vehicle enough the first time. System is working much better with the new high-pressure pump!

Car wash does a good job getting the dirt off my truck but the last 2 times i went through I found a new scratch each time. I know that is the risk I take taking it to a brush car wash but just wish they would clean the brushes better to prevent this. If I didn’t care about my truck so much I would take it here more often but just can’t handle getting scratches. Will not be going back.

Car wash usually works very well. No tire shine this time and it's supposed to shine your tires. Always has in the past. Maybe you need to add more solution or fix the equipment? Thanks! I will change my rating back to five stars if this is resolved.

This was my first visit to Costco car wash and I wasn't truly satisfied with the service. After leaving the car wash I examined it for cleanliness and discovered what looked like soapy streaks on both sides and rear of the vehicle. I had to hand rinse with clean water when I return home. It seems to me that the rinse cycle wasn't timed long enough to give my vehicle a thorough rinse. I probably won't return to this car wash.

Costco is great, but the car wash is terrible! Tried to go through and all three of my cards were declined. My Visa card and two Visa debit cards were declined. Not trying that again — I am going to another car wash that will actually accept the money I am trying to give them.

Great car wash value, but shortened hours make it difficult to use. Hours will change without notice. Currently closed by 6:30 everyday. Sometimes it will stay open until 8 or 8:30pm.

Washed my car at this wash. I don't recommend this car wash if you would like to preserve your paint job or your windshield. I came out with deep scratches on the windshield and the roof. Opened up a claim right away with the manager. Costco got back to us and told us they cannot provide any compensation because we cannot prove that the damages werent there before the wash.

I LOVE Costco... That being said, I went in here last week with my $90K truck that has less than 18,000 miles on it and didn't have a scratch on it. I came out from shopping and saw what the Costco car wash had done to it. I filed a claim and of course nothing happened because I can't prove that it didn't have them before going into the car wash (the truck was dirty, hard to do). I'll still shop at Costco and love their brand. But, as you can see in the video, this is SUPER disappointing. It sucks going into a car wash with a practically brand new truck and coming out the other side where the clear coat has been trashed. Not sure if this will come out with some professional buffing but I'm betting it's several thousand dollars worth of damage at the minimum. Use it at your own risk.
