I had to bring my car tires for a second inspection with them due to the fact they did not see another one of my tires was also damaged during the first . Which makes me wonder about the quality of work....

I purchased a battery at LQ store in 9/2020. I called to ask about return policy and check inventory. I drove there and stood in line for 10 minutes and was told I had to take battery in to store. I asked for help I was told they could not help me. I have trouble walking and my mom is 86. I asked for some pliers and was told no. I went back outside asked a tire center employee and he gave me some pliers. After struggling for a while, another employee came out with a ratchet set! Wont give his name don't want him to get into trouble. (Great employee) He put battery in shopping cart. I went back to tire center desk. After waiting another 10 minutes I was told battery was not in stock! I had checked inventory day before. To my dismay I had to go back outside and put battery back in my car by myself. Did I mention it was over 100 degrees outside!

Bottom line on tire centers, you get what you paid for. We like Costco because we feel there isn't a lot of fudging on the costs. Unlike a smaller tire shop where the sales people have a little more discretion on the price they charge you.

Great and fast service! I love the tire warranty. They will reimburse you if your tires does not last the advertised mileage but you need to take your car there for tire rotation every 5,000 miles.

Great prices on Michelin Tires. Poor service. Waited 2.5 hours on a 1 hour job. They couldn’t even install my new wheels and tires on my car because of “liability reasons” due to my car having wheel spacers so they couldn’t touch it, they should offer a liability waiver or something to offset this issue because I paid the money for install but now I have to do it myself anyway. On top of that they left my brand new tires very dirty full of lubricant and gunk and stripped several lug nuts transferring the tpms sensors from old wheels to new wheels. I love Costco, but sometimes they go overboard with their policies. Would not come here for tires again.

COSTCO has the BEST people - I went to the La Quinta, California warehouse today to have the tires checked and one tire needed to be repaired. Honestly, with great trepidation I venture forth when I have to have car things done. I am so glad that I decided to go to your tire center instead of anywhere else. Edgar Ortega was the sales person and Matt C. also worked on my tires. They were courteous and professional and did everything in good time. I hope that your General Manager is aware of what excellent people are working there - well, the General Manager must be very nice as well, to have such a great team of people! I would say that COSTCO is an "Island of Integrity" - the storms and the waves may be crashing all around but get yourself over to your COSTCO and everything will be all right.

Cost wise I know I'm getting a great value, have had either valve or pressure issues and it's tough get myself in between the hours of operation. Finally scheduled to have my car brought in, requested tire rotation and rebalance. Only valve issue was addressed, no tire rotation, and assume no re-balance as requested on appointment. (Family member brought in vehicle - I can only assume that the typed up request for appointment did not make it to the end service technician.) Tried calling the store number, no response after 2 minutes of ringing.

Will never buy tires at Costco again. Tire warranties (40k miles out of 80k tires) are a difficult process of finding the “manager” and getting someone to actually answer the phone. Once you’ve jumped through the hurdles, you’re made to feel that you’ve pulled one over on them if you are success in getting Costco to honor 50% of the manufacturer’s warranty. Low prices aren’t worth the hassle. Unfortunately, after five interactions to get Costco to honor the warranty and replace tires, it is apparent that my experience is representative of the culture rather than an individual staff member. For example, LQ staff called Palm Desert Costco and could not reach the tire center after 30 minutes until they got the direct phone number for their general manager. It’s such a shame since the rest of Costco provides great customer service throughout your experience.

Yes, there is a line and a bit of wait but well worth it. Best deal on tires I’ve found so far. Took their time changing out my tires which aren’t the easiest to replace but treated my car as if it were their own. Wish I had the guy’s names that helped me out but they were awesome! Thank you!!

I only got 45,000 miles out of 80,000 warranty. Because I missed a rotation I am not eligible to any proration on a new set of tires. Why buy a tire with a 80,000 warranty? Buy a cheaper tire that will last the warranty! The warranty means nothing. I get an average of 35 mpg so not a a crazy driver.

Ordered tires online and came in to have them swapped out. Matt and team took care of me and I was out the door in about an hour! This location uses Tesla jack pucks, so no need to worry if you have a Tesla. They’ll lift it properly, no problems!
