Got a new set of tires, they replaced them quickly and I was out about an hour and a half later. Now, 2 days later, one is already flat, and no one at the desk will answer the phone, other than to ask if they can put you on hold, only to hang up on you a few minutes later.

Bought some tires. My disappointment was the fact that I had to leave my work backpack in the trunk since I couldn’t take that inside Costco. They had to move the only thing I had in the trunk and that was the backpack but they ruined it with their nasty greasy hands all over the backpack. They couldn’t have put on gloves or washed their hands before having to move the backpack over. The worst part they just acted like nothing happened and just damaged personal things and didn’t say anything.

I am confused to why Costco tires business model is so different than their normal mode of operations. The tire front desk is never attended by a salesperson and their time estimates are always off. Today, I went in for a rotation I was told it would be about an hour it took 2.5 hours. Granted they they had to replace a tire due to a road hazard but it shouldnt take an additional hour and a half. I didn't experience any rudeness as others mentioned.

I do t know why I keep coming back. Slow is not even the right word. Takes about 3hrs every time with an appointment. My car was up for over 2 hrs with no tires on it and no one working on it. Frustrating is an understatement.

Don't know why Costco Tire is so much different than the rest of Costco, but I have only had terrible experiences with them with my most recent, and only, tire purchase. Lug nuts were overtightened, shearing the studs in the wheel hub and two came off on a road trip. Most recently went to get rotation and balancing, and they couldn't "get the lug nut loosened" and said we'd have to go to another tire shop. But they decided to rotate the other three, which I can't believe. How do you properly rotate only three tires? I will not be purchasing tires from Costco again.

I had the pleasure of working with Mike in the tire center. He went above and beyond his responsibilities and helped me find a solution my car needed. I will continue going back to get my tire needs serviced there in the future. Thanks Mike!

We came in for a tire check and possible repair. They told me it was a road hazard and I would have to pay a little bit for the proration. We bought these tires this spring 2022. When we arrived at the desk to pick up the lady was very nice but not a technician, when we asked to speak with the tech he came in with a bad attitude and told me he had given me a better deal already, it wasn’t about the money at all for us! We simply wanted to know what warranted a tire replacement rather than a repair, this particular tech was very rude and short and definitely NOT the Costco culture I am usted to. another time when they did the rotation a balancing weight fell off and when we asked for it to be rebalanced he said it didn’t matter and wasn’t necessary, we had him do it anyway, but he was bothered and short. CUSTOMER SERVICE FOR THE TIRE CENTER MUST BE IMPROVED.

I love that they will torque your tires for free and I love that they have a free air pump outside of their shop. They're difficult to get into and there isn't much of a waiting area. They do a great job though.

I bought 4 tires in July. I got a nail in my tire in February, which was just barley outside the "repairable" area. They were on sale when I bought them. When I bought them, they were $120 a tire - now $180 per tire. So they have me a credit of 75% of the old tire towards a new tire for the"road hazrd warranty." --- Anyway, I ended up paying $80 dollars to replace the tire. It just felt shifty. And it seems if the tire was more than a year old or something, there would be next to zero "road hazard warranty" It's an OK place for tires, but I wouldn't drive out of my way to go there. The customer service was fine. You do have to schedule an appointment.

My husband and I were on our way back to Nebraska and stopped in Salt Lake City for the night. We ended up with a nail in one of our tires which we had purchased from Costco last November. We showed up when they opened at 10 on a Sunday and were told they were totally booked for the day but would do their best to get us in. We did have to wait about 3 hours, but they got it patched and we were back on the road. We were very pleased with the service we received!!

They don’t have a clue what they’re doing. I bought tires here because they were cheaper than Les Schwab and came with a good warranty. I have been in 3 times now (purchase and 2 rotations). They cross threaded a lug nut and said they couldn’t fix it and I would be responsible to have it repaired somewhere else. They inflate the tires to different, seemingly random pressures, they cannot get the balance right and put on more weights than I have ever seen on a wheel (these are new rims), and they won’t plug a tire that had a temporary patch to get it to the store. I thought I was getting a deal but I got what I paid for. The tire center is NOT the same quality and service as Costco.

I got a flat and ended up needing 4 new tires. This Costco tire center was quick to get me in and had great customer service. Their explanations throughout the process were thoughtful and I felt like I was well informed about my options!

If I could give 0 stars, I would. Purchased a set of tires online and shipped to the store. Got a call that they needed a manager to approve the installation. First red flag. Then I got no call back, so I followed up 2 days later, spoke on the phone, scheduled the install, and went over all the details and any concerns they might have. Arrived the day of appointment to them telling me they won't install the tires because they don't want to warranty the tires. Mind you, it's a direct replacement of the tire that is currently on there that I have no issue with that came installed when I bought the truck in 2020. Factory states it's a 275/70/18. I bought the truck from the dealership brand new with 325/60/20. No rubbing, no alignment issue, 50k miles out of BFG K02. I am looking to get the K03s from them as the price was competitive. Long story short, unless you plan on swapping OEM for OEM, they are not interested, even when they tell you they'll install them, UNTIL THE DAY OFF YOUR APPOINTMENT The only reason for 1 star is that the manager was nice but still would not honor the appointment.

Bottom line (short version), I am never going back and I advise caution to others as I feel they did us dirty avoiding their warranty obligation on subpar tires. We got 4 tires a matter of months ago, all well and good. The tires were crap and went near bald within the warranty period. Whatever, things happen. We take it in to get the warranty replacements and they refused to do anything with them as we couldn’t present proof that the tires were rotated, which they were. The tires are all uniformly bald, but because we couldn’t prove the rotation we’re out all that money getting partial life out of the expensive, low quality tires.

Recently went in to have them mount tires for me like they have done previously. (My supplied brand new tires) and was told that they never mount "non costco tires" and would not budge. Asked for a supervisor and was told no. Took my business elsewhere....

Got all 4 new tires at Costco. They were pretty quick. Week later had a nail and needed a patch, tire center never answers the phone so you have to just call general and have them talk to the tire center. They were pretty quick at patching my tire, but I had light up caps on my tires and they didn’t bother to tell me they didn’t put it back on for some reason and replaced it with this ugly green one. No idea where my light up cap is or what happened to it… no one is ever at the tire desk so you just gotta ask another employee to grab someone for you.

Got all 4 tires replaced, and sent on my way. Had to retorque done at a different costco tire center was then told they used a different weight or bolt than what was on the wheel. Though they weren't too concerned about it , retorqued and sent on my way. Now I have to visit another tire center tomorrow and see if they can get me a matching one with a rebalance

They refused to honor the warranty for the tire. They just assumed that my alignment was bad. Alignment specialists showed that it was within spec. Setting aside the bad customer service in this instance, it’s also a pain to get your tires rotated here as they are always too busy. I found a local shop as an alternative that has been a much better experience. It’s unfortunate that this is nothing like the shopping experience within the store itself.

Pretty disappointed in my experience here today (12/17/25) I made an appointment two weeks ago to have a tire rotation/balance. The appointment was for 11:30 a.m. today. I arrived about 15 minutes early and dropped the vehicle off and proceeded to shop. Went back to the tire center at 12:15 p.m. after finishing my shopping just to see if the job was still in progress. Noticed my vehicle was not in the garage and decided to ask the person at the desk if it was recently finished. Was told it hadn't been taken in yet. I politely asked if they could give me a time frame of when it might be done (just needing to rearrange the rest of the day's schedule accordingly). The answer I was given, in a very facetious manner, by an obviously frustrated employee, was 5 hours. I understand the tire center was busy, but the customer service skills of the employee helping me leave much to be desired. A couple of suggestions for a better customer experience: 1- Tell me when I drop my vehicle off if you are running behind schedule so I can make the decision then if I have time to wait or not. 2- Take a breath between customers and don't project what the last customer issue may have been on to me. 3- if appointments cannot be honored in a reasonable amount of time, don't offer them. When I scheduled my service, I was told it would take 45 minutes and at the 45-minute mark from my appointment time, my car had not even been touched.
