Purchased a car in Springdale last week, check engine light came on….. Service guy in Springdale named Chris told me I could absolutely go to Fort Smith. The folks at the Fort Smith store were very accommodating. Offered to shuttle me somewhere to get lunch if needed and got my issue resolved. They were very kind and helpful!! They checked on me multiple times and even offered me something to drink. Huge shout out to Rachel, I probably came across a little upset when I walked in (check engine light comes on the day after you buy a car you would be too!) but she was very helpful and kind! So thank you all for being nice to me & getting my car fixed today at a moments notice. Much appreciated!

Didn't have an appointment and the dealership looked slammed. Roadtripping 6 hours from home and i was 6 hours from my destination with the check engine light flashing. Mechanic Foreman Anthony listened to my situation, fixed the problem, cleared the code, and I was on my way in no time. Drove over 200 miles since then so far, and the car's been running great. Give Anthony a promotion or a raise please!!

I’ve purchased three vehicles from Crain Hyundai of Fort Smith since 2017. After this experience, there will not be a fourth. My 2022 Santa Fe was brand new (41 miles) and has had multiple major issues, including two separate fuel injector failures. Each time my vehicle was in the service department, it sat for weeks, I received zero proactive communication, and I had to call repeatedly just to get basic updates—most calls unanswered and voicemails ignored. At one point, I was told my vehicle wasn’t even on the lot. Then parts were “on the way.” Then they were “backordered.” A loaner was only provided after pushing—and somehow the needed part magically appeared at another location within 24 hours. Funny how that works. Most recently, my vehicle shut down on the interstate. While Hyundai Bluelink was excellent, the service department once again failed to meet promised timelines, couldn’t give a straight answer on pricing, and couldn’t even explain what codes were still being thrown after repair. Management admitted they didn’t know much about my vehicle and called the situation a “learning experience.” Unfortunately, I was the one stranded without a car during their lesson. If you enjoy chasing updates, missed deadlines, and feeling like an inconvenience after buying multiple vehicles, this is the place. Otherwise, shop elsewhere

The "Crain Committment" ends with your purchase. Buying the car was a great experience. Trust me when I say dealing with the service department will never be a good experience. I have had 2 scheduled appointments since purchasing. The first was a slight scratch/defect on the door they told me would be fixed at no cost, I just needed to schedule and bring the car in. This was done about 1 month after purchase. When I picked the car up the paint appeared much darker but I was told it would dry differently. 3 days later the entire door was about 5 shades darker than the rest of the car. I had to take it back and go through the entire proccess again. This was 2025 and a 2025 Hyundai vehicle, I'm not certain why paint matching would be such an issue. They did provide me a loaner car the second time which a great help. My first vehicle service was a simple oil change with a tire repair today. It was determined the tire needed to be replaced which was fine. When I picked the car up and began driving down the road I realized immediately something was off due to the ride quality. I had picked my car up from a service and tire rotation with 2 tires under inflated and one grossly over inflated. Luckily I wasn't too far away, called, and was able to immediately return to fix the issue. It seems Crain wants you to purchase a car, but they have no incentive to make any of your dealings with the service department positive experiences. Two appointments, two mistakes, two returns to the dealership for correction. Be warned any service will be an all day event and chances are you'll have to go back. I have never had major issues with a Hyundai I have owned, but with so many difficulties with the service department this will probably be my last.
