I had work done at The Carstar in North Ridgeville. Even though that location closed, Carstar is the franchise and I gave them the opportunity to make it right. I don’t believe that this paint chipped so badly. Carstar refused to help.

The people here are very helpful and professional. My car was totaled, so I can't speak about their collision work. Beware of the strong smell of methane gas in the building!! I feel sorry for the staff having to work under those conditions.

Friendly and patient as I asked a bunch of questions about the process for an insurance claim. I was able to get a ride to the rental shop so I didn't need to arrange that. My car was done quickly and the check out process was thorough as someone walked out with me while I looked it over and explained what to do and not do to the repair area. My one and only minor complaint is that I was not updated on the status or informed that I could check the status online.

The whole process was thoroughly explained and they made it easy for me from start to finish. Every detail was laid out and clear. They even took time to explain how I could use a rental through my insurance (I'd originally planned for my wife to take me everywhere and take RTA when she couldn't). They even arrange that when you pick up your car, you can leave the rental with them and they'll return it. At least, they did with Enterprise. I assume they will with other companies too.

This is the place to be. They’re very respectful and they’re very honest. They’re very hands-on when it comes down to dealing with your car claim I like the fact that they walk you through every stage of what they’re going to do and what they’re going to try to do. I like the fact that they take the time out with you and not rush you I like the fact that they guarantee and on time return that you will be satisfied with I would definitely recommend this place for anyone that is looking for a place to have their car repaired

February 23, 2025 update. Vehicle is still waiting for the missing chrome piece. I have stopped by over 6 times, called as many and 8 months ago they asked me to email them. How thick are they. This situation is as obvious as hell. You promised me innumerable times to contact me, to order the missing part and yet until today, my repair is STILL UNFINISHED. This is supposed to be a reputable shop? Here it is October 15, 2024 and my vehicle is STILL missing the one chrome piece. Crash Chumpions (spelled correctly) on Brookpark road is a total joke of a body shop. They are CHUMPS when it comes to repairing one's vehicle. Broken promises after more broken promises to finish the repairs and total lies to my face that they will call when they get the piece that's available at any Honda dealership. AVOID them at all costs. I will NEVER go back to them again. Sad thing is, it was an excellent body shop UNTIL Crash Champions bought them out. Too bad they aren't REPAIR Champions!!! 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 6/3/24 update - after over 6 phone calls and as many visits to Crash Champions since the end of March, they kept promising to call me and get the part to complete the repair. They NEVER did. AVOID these people if you want your vehicle repaired to the condition that it was before your accident. Shame on GEICO for having them as a "preferred" shop to go to. What a disappointment overall with both. If GEICO tries to steer you to Crash Champions - insist on a different, reputable shop. Avoid the disappointment and frustration that I'm dealing with. I would give both ZERO stars but I have to give at least one star to enable me to post a review. Below is the first review: Vehicle was picked up as "completed" back in late March. After going back twice - after pointing out that the chrome piece was missing on the right fog light when I picked up the vehicle, and after 3 phone calls and 2 visits, my CR-V is still waiting with no replies or completion of repairs. Obvious as hell since they took off the chrome on the left side of the broken facia and installed it on the new piece but never replaced the missing right one. In other words, they did NOT restore (repair) my vehicle to how it was before the accident. This would be something for you to consider when getting your vehicle repaired especially if you customized your vehicle. Check out the pictures and see how they missed the obvious lack to detail. IF they ever decide to correct their omission, I will update this post but for now, I am NOT satisfied with their lack of attention to detail.

Had to get body work done after someone backed into my car. They did a beautiful job replacing my rear quarter panel and tail light cover, repainting, and taking care of some scratches. Insurance paid for the repairs, but the total was a little less than $6k. Honestly, not bad for how well and how quickly the work was done, especially considering the parts for my car are pricier and it needed quite a bit of paint.

Was in a crash and this place was suggested to me by my insurance. Most repair shops, to me at least as someone younger, are daunting because you never know if you'll get someone with a bad attitude. However, Crash Champions is not like this. The staff was extremely friendly, I was greeted before even walking in the doors. They make sure to communicate with you how repairs are going with your car throughout the entire process and if you do have to call to speak to someone there was never a hold time, they always answered very promptly. Made getting my car repaired less stressful

Got into an accident in my brand new 2022 Kia K5 GT. Decent amount of damage was sustained on the driver side fender (location of fog lamps) and grill. My insurance company recommended Crash Champions to me so I went with it. I checked out the reviews and was a little worried reading some of the negative reviews. I was also concerned with my vehicle being brand new they may not get the correct parts or something of that matter. I went for the consultation in May and was told they'd contact me when the parts arrived. It wasn't until mid July they finally called me to setup an appointment. Appointment was setup for end of July and was told it would take 5 days to complete. Got myself into a rental and hoped for the best. When I got the call that it was ready to be picked up I was so relieved to see my car looked BRAND NEW! These guys did a STELLAR job using all OEM parts from Kia. I am so so happy I went with Crash Champions! Ernie was professional the whole way through. These people are truly the Crash Champions!

I had high expectations for this place, unfortunately my experience was not the best. They gave me an extremely dirty car. Trisha or the person who works in front of it, I asked her if she could please see the car so she could help me. She said no and told the person to clean the car. I told her that I had to go to work. After seeing the entire car, I decided to arrive late to work and accept that they clean it since the car is totally dirty inside and in the repair area. I come back and ask her if I could please see the car so she can supervise and help me. She said no again, with a worse attitude, they took the car to clean it and returned it to me. With only the driver's area clean, the back part was left dirty and the area they repaired was so dirty that it is impossible to see if the job was done well. They should improve their customer service and do a clean job for the people who trust them with their cars!!
