Do not get your car fixed here if you can help it!! My car was a 2002 Saturn and my brakes went out, so I took my car here because they did a good job on my mother's car. When I spoke to the owner Greg of how much it would be to fix my car he quoted me over $800, which was OUTRAGEOUS, I don't have that kind of money!! I believe he played on my desperation and thought I wouldn't call him out on that ridiculous quote! A few days later I called back to have my car towed away and another worker told me that they had ALREADY towed my car!! Greg didn't even give me a notice let alone tell me that he had my car towed!!! Thanks for the "heads up!!"

today i called them to check on my vehicle which they already closed the shop with my car in it and didnt give me and update lastnight this morning i called to check on my car and they said it was ready so i said that’s fine i will be there to pick it up at 2pm i got to the shop after thinking that my car was fine i got literally 10 min away from the shop and my car was doing the same thing i put it in the shop for so i brought it back not only did they say they didn’t know what was wrong with it they always decided to close the shop while i was still there if you are reading this i would just advise you to go somewhere anywhere else!!!

I just found out from the dealership that the water pump and thermostat needed to be replaced because it wasn't done right. They could tell that the parts were new but it was seized and blocked where coolant wasn't able to flow through, which caused my head gasket to blow. About 2 years ago, this was the place I had the thermostat and water pump replaced and my engine started to overheat shortly after. I took it back to this shop and they told me it was because my head gasket was blown, which was fine before they changed the water pump and thermostat. And this vehicle hasn't been driven ever since then. I know it is a bit too late but I'm leaving the review because I didn't know what caused my head gasket to blew until now (I knew it would be really expensive so I held off on it so I can save money for it). I wish I knew better and had the knowledge about cars that I do now back then but this is very frustrating to find out.

Greg, Alfred, and the whole team at Custom Auto are the only people I will trust with my car repairs. They are efficient, communicative - and most importantly - honest and trustworthy, which is very hard to come by. I've been going to them for years, even after moving further away from the shop, and will continue to do so for many more to come. You won't find any other mechanics in town like them (believe me). They always go the extra mile to make sure you're well taken care of, and they don't try to sell you on things you don't need. Can't recommend these guys enough!!
