Paul runs one of the best shops I’ve ever been to. He’s honest, very reasonably priced, has a great sense of humor and is an all around good guy. It’s a family business - his dad works the desk and D and E are the initials of his kids names. He does much more than alignments - pretty much anything. The other mechanic - Ben - is an ace as well. Both are genuinely interested in getting your problem solved vs. trying to extract the most cash from your wallet or brush you off. I can’t say enough nice things about this shop! I’ll be a customer for as long as I’m in San Diego!

This place is a little hole in the wall, but they were the best alignment place I've gone to. It was very helpful in aligning my car and telling me what was wrong with it and showing me, instead of just saying I need a part. They explained everything thoroughly to me, and they were quick with their time. I was basically in and out in less than the expected time. The mechanic who helped me was Paul, and I couldn't thank him enough for being a great mechanic and alignment specialist. This place is a must go for alignments as they also have an awesome system that lays out numbers for everything (camber, caster, toe). Loved my visit to D & E Alignment

WHAT A REFERESHING FEELING ! I JUST HAD MY VEHICLE WHEEL ALINGMENT DONE AT D&E ALINGMENT YESTERDAY. I HAD JUST HAD REPLACED BOTH CONTROL ARMS AND ADDITIONAL EQUIPMENT REPLACED PRIOR TO BRINGING MY VEHICLE TO THE SHOP IN ESCONDIDO AT 901 ANDREASEN NEAR THE ESCONDIDO AUTO PARK AREA. I CALLED ON THE MORNING AND WAS INFORMED TO DROP IT OFF RIGHT AWAY TO MAKE SURE THEY COULD GET TO MY TRUCK THE SAME DAY. I WAS QUOTED OVER THE PHONE THE SAME AS WHAY THEY ASKED FOR WHEN I PICKED UP MY TRUCK AROUND 1:30 IN THE AFTERNOON. I NEVER RECEIVED A CALL WITH ANY KIND OF BAIT AND SWITCH TECHNIQUES THAT MOST SHOPS DO EITHER WITH SUPPOSED MAILER COUPONS THAT ONLY END UP COSTING MORE THAN TWICE AS MUCH OR MORE THAN IF YOU JUST CAME TO D&E. WHAT I FOUND AT D&E THERE ARE NO FUNNY TACTICS OR BAIT AND SWITCH OR "GOTCHA" MECHANIC ISSUES. D&E WAS STRAIGHT FORWARD AND THE COST WAS THE COST THAT THEY TOLD ME UP FRONT . I WOULD RECCOMEND EVERYONE GO TO D&E ALIGNMENT FOR ALL YOUR ALIGNMENT NEEDS. BRING YOUR VEHICLE IN EARLY BECAUSE THEY ARE A BUSY SHOP AND THEY ARE A BUSY SHOP FOR GOOD REASON. THEY ARE HONEST AT D&E AND THAT IS EXACTLY THE KIND OF MECHANIC SHOP WE ALL NEED MORE OF. I recently had my suspension work done at D and E Alignment in Escondido, and I couldn’t be happier with the service. I had them install Rallitek one-half inch springs on both the front and rear of my vehicle, and the job included a full alignment. From start to finish, everything was handled with great care and professionalism. What really impressed me was how fast they got the work done. I had received a quote from another shop that told me the job would take around eight hours. D and E got it all done in just three hours, which was a huge time saver for me. Their pricing was also very fair and competitive, especially considering the quality and speed of their service. Ron and Paul were great over the phone. They explained everything clearly before I brought my car in, and they made sure I was completely satisfied when the work was done. They were honest, straightforward, and easy to talk to, which made the whole experience even better. I originally heard about D and E Alignment through Rhino Adventure Gear in San Marcos, and I’m really glad they pointed me in the right direction. Paul who is the owner helped us with our Tesla X after being hit on Pomerado Road. Tesla collision center dropped the ball so we brought it to Paul. He disassembled the car to find out what was wrong and worked with the faulty party insurance company; which is not easy since most insurance company's do not want to pay. Paul is fair, honest and sympathetic to people. He even let us have our car while still waiting for payment from the faulty party insurance company. We have used him in the past for routine maintenance on our Teslas so we know his work and trust him. Thank you again Paul for helping us get our car back.

Absolutely amazing!!! I have a 2012 135i with a highly modified suspension. Larger wheels and tires, completely re-fitted with spherical links, sub-frame bushings, Ohlins, Hotchkiss, Eibach, etc. It is about the most race-car street-car you can get. Several months ago, I took it to a supposedly reputable BMW Indie in Esco, who works on and HAS BMW race-cars because they said they knew the alignments on these cars backwards and forwards. Well, the car left with the same issue I brought it in with, and a $500 camber-plate marred to hell with a pry-bar for my trouble, as well as a $250 bill. After blowing away my third set of $1000 tires in less then 12 months, I decided I had to hunt someone down who's actually good at this. As usual, Yelp really seems to help me out of a tough spot. Just happened to find D&E Alignment in Esco as I was close by, visiting clients. Paul finished up with another client and immediately gave me some time for the questions that are inevitable with this kind of set-up. You know, the tap-your-head while you rub-your-belly kind of questions? FINALLY!!! Someone who knows what they are talking about and how to convey those ideas to us dummies!!! Scheduled it last week, for today, and I could NOT BE MORE PLEASED with the results! Paul again took time to understand my use and preferences, wrote down key points, told me what he could and could not accomplish, and we met at a happy compromise where I'd still have my handling but not at the expense of tire life or steering weirdness. Car is back to driving like stock, only with an absolute TON of GRIP!!! Obviously, I need to keep an eye on my tire wear for a bit, but his alignment knocked it out of the park, and he only took a little over two hours to do it!!! Amazing, to still have hard-working people around, with a real sense of pride, because you just don't run into it enough anymore. Can't thank you enough, D&E! Will be back with all my other BMWs as well as spread your good word wherever I can!

I've brought my car in a few times within a few months, and was treated respectfully and honestly each time. I had to fix one of my tie rods after the first time, so I brought it back, and was only charged for the 2 wheel alignment when they could easily have just charged for the 4. That's the kind of thing that will keep me coming back any time I need an alignment, and I'll be sure to recommend this place to everyone I can.

Everyone who works here is friendly and honest. I brought my Volvo 240 in to get a lift kit installed. On top of installing it they also did a full suspension check and let me know what needed to be replaced and what didn’t. They were upfront and didn’t try to upsell me on anything. Pricing is fair and work is good. They kept me updated via phone call throughout the whole process. When I had an issue with the lift I brought it back and they fixed it right up.

Extremely professional and friendly. I was originally going to get an alignment at another shop but when I was told about D & E, I called, and they were shocked by what I was quoted. D & E saved me MORE than half of what I was going to pay at the other shop. I felt like a valued customer and I didn't feel taken advantage of because of my gender. This is the place to go if you’ve been off-roading and your car starts making weird clicking or clunking noises. Good mechanics who actually know their stuff.
